Today is an important day for Project Sphinx and all puzzle loving gamers! The long-awaited moment has arrived - Project Sphinx is officially out now on Steam, and it's absolutely free, no costs at all!
However, this comes with an important announcement. We regret to inform you that after much consideration, the development of Project Sphinx will come to a close. This was a hard, but a necessary decision that we made after carefully considering all possible options.
BUT! Good news is, we are making what our team managed to create absolutely for free, for you to enjoy.
While Project Sphinx’s story is not fully completed, we wanted to give you the chance to experience the first several captivating levels filled with mind-bending puzzles before we bid farewell. That means you’ll have free access to a part of the game and while not complete, we’re sure these are going to scratch that platformer puzzle itch and provide a few long hours of entertainment. The difficulties will increase as you progress through the levels and the station’s rooms and corridors, but so do the options and abilities for your character.
So, are you ready to embark on this bittersweet journey through the space station's corridors? If so, download the game and embrace this final adventure as you put your problem-solving and platform-jumping skills to the ultimate test.
We are immensely grateful to each and every one of you, who supported this development journey. We honestly hope you'll have fun during the moments you spend within the world of Project Sphinx, even in its unfinished state.
If you like the game, please share it with your friends! Also, if you have any thoughts or opinions, be sure to write a review or leave your comments on the forums. We’ll be sure to follow the game’s page after the launch.
Thank you for being a part of this incredible adventure. While Project Sphinx may have a bittersweet ending, we had incredible fun making the game and hopefully, you’ll have fun playing it as well.

USC: Counterforce is in Early Access now on Steam. It's time to prepare yourself to fight off the alien hordes in this thrilling top-down squad tactics revival.
To set you up for success and ensure you keep your focus on what matters most, we've compiled five essential tips. These insights will guide your mindset, highlighting key priorities and crucial elements to watch out for in the game.
Before you board that spaceship to take out the alien threat, there are a few things you should know, whether this is your first time on the planetary body M-8322 or not. A well-advised marine is better than a dead one. Get ready to immerse yourself in strategic gameplay and embark on an exciting adventure in USC: Counterforce!
Here are some tips to improve your chances of surviving and succeeding:
Summary
Tip #1 Balance and Adapt Your Squad Tip #2 Analyze the Environment Tip #3 Loot, Upgrade, Craft Tip #4 Combos & Buildups Tip #5 Encyclopedia/Wiki
#1 Balance and Adapt Your Squad
USC: Counterforce places a strong emphasis on teamwork and coordination. When forming your squad, ensure a good balance of different classes and abilities to cover various roles on the battlefield. Experiment with different combinations and adapt your squad composition based on the objectives and challenges you face during each encounter. A Medic for example who is versed in BIOChemistry to make sure your squad does get out of it alive is a great pick.
#2 Analyze the Environment
The game features diverse maps and environments, each with its own advantages and challenges. Take the time to familiarize yourself with the maps, and study key locations, chokepoints, and objective areas. Understanding the layout will allow you to plan strategies, find advantageous positions, and anticipate enemy movements. The Pull/Push of objects will become your biggest friend.
#3 Loot, Upgrade, Craft
USC: Counterforce incorporates elements of looting, upgrading, and crafting. Throughout the game, you'll find resources, weapons, and equipment. Collect these items and utilize the crafting system to upgrade your gear, enhance your abilities, and gain an edge over your opponents. Pay attention to resource management and make strategic decisions on how to allocate your resources effectively.
#4 Combos & Buildups
Mastering the combat mechanics and understanding the synergy between different abilities and weapons is crucial. Experiment with different combos and buildups to maximize your damage output and tactical advantage. Discover how certain abilities and weapons can complement each other, creating devastating combinations that can turn the tide of battle in your favour. For example, you can use a cryo weapon to build up enough frost to freeze a target and shatter/instakill it with a high-impact attack.
#5 Encyclopedia/Wiki
To deepen your understanding of USC: Counterforce, make use of the available resources like the in-game encyclopedia or an external wiki. These resources provide detailed information about the game mechanics, classes, weapons, abilities, and strategies. Refer to them to gain insights, learn advanced tactics, and stay updated on any balance changes or updates to the game.
Now, you're (almost) all prepared! With these tips, you are no longer a rookie. Training will empower your strategic prowess and prepare you for the challenges ahead. The aliens are many, fierce and relentless. You fall and rise again and learn from your mistakes until you manage to save humanity from this alien threat.
Gear up and get ready to join the USC for this mission now in Early Access on Steam!

In part 2 of the mini-series we’ll be taking a deep dive into Plutus, the Greek god of wealth, and what makes them unique!
Plutus’ starting abilities are:
When you redraw your hand, gain gold equal to how many times you have redrawn this turn
When you place land, gain 1 gold for each statue on your island
At the start of each year, if you do not have a statue card in your deck, add a random statue card to your deck
Being the god of wealth, it’s only natural that 2 of Plutus’ abilities are tied to gaining more gold! There’s also an ability tied to the statues which are unique to Plutus, but we will go into that in more detail in another post. Obtaining extra gold is also very helpful for mercenaries, which is another of Plutus' unique mechanics that we will explore more later.
Plutus’ god power cards allow for some powerful synergies:
Hands of the Fates – Repeat the effects of any statues that have been built since the last harvest
Empsychos – 8 damage to enemies adjacent or diagonal to statues
Raised from dust – cards played this turn have zero resource cost
Hands of the Fate and Empsychos have powerful synergies with the unique statues that Plutus has access to, and with good statue placement, Empsychos is capable of destroying whole waves of enemies! Raised from dust enables you to play lots of costly cards in one turn allowing you to place wonders for free or place buildings that you desperately want but don’t have access to the resources yet!
For those who played the Next Fest demo, did you find any other strong synergies relating to Plutus’ unique abilities and god power cards?

Heisters!
We are thrilled to announce that PAYDAY 3 is hosting a technical Closed Beta from August 2nd to August 7th. Players can sign-up for a chance to play the game on Steam and Xbox Series S|X. We have prepared a FAQ regarding the Closed BETA below.
Last updated: Wednesday August 2nd 11:53
How do I get into the beta? A: This is a technical test first and foremost. This means we are prioritizing meeting our technical goals over letting people try the game. The process itself will look as following, using the Steam & Xbox beta programs: Steam: Visit the PAYDAY 3 store page and press “Request Access” near the top of the page. Xbox: Go to the Xbox Insider Hub, navigate to previews, select PAYDAY 3.
How do I know if I was given access to the beta/How long do I need to wait to find out that I’m able to join? We go through and approve people several times per day, and you’ll receive an email if you’ve been selected to participate. So keep an eye on your inbox!
Is there anything I can do to increase my chances at getting into the beta? A: No, Steam applications are randomly approved. Xbox are first come first served.
I got beta access but my friend didn’t, can I invite them to play with me? A: Great that they want to play with you! Unfortunately not, since this is a closed technical beta we are unable to fulfill additional requests. The main purpose of this beta is to test our servers and the stability of the game experience.
I bought the silver/gold/collector’s edition of PAYDAY 3, can I join? A: Thank you for your purchase! You are not guaranteed access by preordering the game, refer to the answer to the first question on how to apply for the closed beta.
Can I capture video or stream the beta? A: Yes, you are free to create content from your experience in the Closed Beta.
I have a problem with the beta, where can I get help? A: Please visit the support page for technical help. You can use links on the support page to leave feedback on your experience with the beta as well, should you forget anything in the survey.
I want to report a bug, where can I do that? A: There’s a section on our support page where you can send in feedback or bug reports, this button differs from the help request in that there’s no expectation of an answer. There’s also a survey presented when you close down the game which we would love if you took the time to answer.
I would like to suggest a new feature/feedback for PAYDAY 3, how do I do that? A: There’s a lot we haven’t included in the technical test, when the game is released we’ll keep eyes and ears open for your suggestions and ideas.
Are there limitations in the beta that won’t be in the release version of the game? A: Yes. This is a slice of the full game containing only 1 heist and 4 heisters. Most, but not all, weaponry and cosmetics are included. There’s also a level cap of infamy level 22, meaning that not all skill points will be available during the beta.
Will my progression from beta carry over to the release version of the game? A: No, progression from the PAYDAY 3 beta will not carry over to the release version of the game. This is true for both the Steam beta and Xbox beta.
For general PAYDAY 3 questions, check out our general FAQ. To get all the latest news on PAYDAY 3, sign up to our newsletter and follow us on social media.

The game may fail to matchmake when users try to join into a full lobby.
When purchasing a weapon in-game, the sum deducted from the player funds may differ from the listed price of the weapon.
Text string errors may be displayed in the settings menu.
Some lighting errors may appear when playing on Xbox.
Iceberg Interactive and Stormling Studios are excited to announce the launch of Lunacy: Saint Rhodes, an immersive first-person survival horror game that will send chills down everyone's spine. Now available on Steam, Lunacy: Saint Rhodes is ready to offer a truly disturbing experience.
