We hope you're all as excited as we are about the upcoming Playtest for Survivors of the Dawn!
We have some thrilling news to share with all of you today!
We've decided to shift the date of our Playtest to ensure that we deliver the absolute best Playtest experience possible. The reason behind this decision is simple: We want to take the extra time to polish and refine every aspect of the game to the best. By pushing back the playtest date, we can iron out any potential bugs and fine-tune the gameplay mechanics to make it a truly seamless and immersive adventure for you all.
The new Playtest date will be worth the wait, promise! 🤞
We're thrilled to have such an amazing community backing us, and we can't wait to show you what we've been working on. Thank you once again for playing an integral part in Survivors of the Dawn’s development.
Yesterday we fixed a number of known issues that blocked respawning in Threshold mode. However, as it turns out, there are still others. Sadly, there was not enough time for our internal tests to detect all of the respawn bugs.
Major challenge to fix this — impossibility to reproduce respawning error stably.
You can play for quite a long time without any problems, and sometimes respawn errors appear regularly. Even at this moment it is difficult to understand what exactly leads to them.
Now we are trying to spot this bug by disabling various mode modules. It takes time to build a test client and tests after each such change. Unfortunately, it may take more time to resolve the issue than we expected.
We're so excited you decided to stop by the TENSE community page. We're thrilled to partner with you to make this game the best it can be. We're a team of fewer than 10 people who have been working on this game, so we really appreciate your support. Come hang out with us on Discord: https://discord.gg/VWE9AGt877.
