Slime Research - nanimonull


Dr. K continues to be fashionably late, so the Slime is trying out a new look!

Turns out that Slimes spin a lot when they get moving, and it's quite fun to climb various surfaces, move Left then move Right, and jump in midair to see how the slime Spins and Swirls.

To celebrate the update, the DEMO will be re-enabled for the next 2 days, Sunday (7/23) and Monday(7/24).

Changelist:
  • Add a Fluid-Dynamics Texture to the Slime
  • Velocity of Texture set by Slime velocity
  • Camera zoomed in by 1/3

Known Issues:
  • Only Largest Slime receives a texture
  • Edge of texture becomes visible if slime is Split, or occupies a wide area
  • Texture sometimes snaps to normal, though this reset should be smoothly blended in
  • Slight mis-alignment of arrays for Velocity and Texture
  • Some small regions of texture at edge of slime may not animate

General
  • Black Market
    • The card shop has been changed into a black market and no longer exists on its own node
    • The black market will appear alongside a non-combat node once per act
  • Health displays have been refined and no longer float near the units by default
    • There is a Display setting to toggle on the old behavior
  • Move Shrines
    • 2 Move Shrines now spawn along the main path in each act
    • Hero is now chosen pseudo-randomly (same as the Card Bloom)
  • Ascensions have been rebalanced
    • The battle modifier ascension has been split into several separate ascension levels. For each battle modifier ascension, more battles have modifiers (starting from the back of the map).
  • Enchants
    • Permanent augments have now been renamed to Enchants
    • Enchants are permanent and can exist alongside augments and banes
  • The act 3 boss has been replaced and has new art
  • Added Exalted Skitterbug (card upgrade), Forge Skitterbug (card transform), Enchanted Skitterbug (random card enchant)
  • Fixed several issues with tooltip hovering
  • Added bounty rewards for ascensions 1-5
  • New UI art for all compendiums
  • Adjusted card compendium filter layout and added text filtering
  • Lots of new art for cards and relics
  • New art for a couple act 3 creatures

Dragoon
  • New Cards
    • Scour: Skill, Common. Draw and Purify 2(3) Baned cards from anywhere in your deck. Gain energy per card.
    • Galvanize: Skill, Uncommon. All heroes draw 2(3) cards. Heroes cannot draw for the rest of the turn.
    • Consecration: Rune, Uncommon. Target hero is disarmed for 2 turns, all heroes get 1 energy per turn.
    • Reverberation: Rune, Rare. The first card with a Bane that target plays each turn is played twice.
    • Blitz: Attack, Common. Deal 5 damage. On draw, draw all other copies of Blitz.
    • Aftershock: Attack, Uncommon. Deal 20 damage to all enemies. Energy cost decreases for each
      card played this turn.
  • Changes
    • Change of Plan now applies Silfyre to cards in both hands rather than discarding
    • Replica has been moved to the Phantom

Mystic
  • New Cards
    • Trance: Rune, Uncommon. Gain 1 energy for each active Augment in any deck
    • From the Ashes: Skill, Rare. Draw 1(2) cards from your exhaust pile. Exhaust.
    • Call the Elements: Skill, Rare. Randomly apply Mist or Flash to all cards in both hands. Exhaust.
    • Overcharge: Rune, Rare. Projectile Attack cards also deal their damage around the target.
    • Crystallize: Rune, Rare. Block is not lost at the end of the round
    • Aberration: Rune, Uncommon. Teleport to a random tile at the start of the turn
    • Cloudshaper: Rune, Rare. Cards with augments cost 1 less energy

Phantom
  • New Cards
    • Equivalent Exchange: Skill, Rare. Exhaust and replace all cards with a random card of the same type

Relics
  • Corrupted Coin: Doubles the number of anomalous options in shops
  • Baoding Balls: Deal 3 damage and chain once when a card augment is consumed
  • Chimes: Generate a random card after playing a card with an augment

Potions
  • Murky: Fogs all cards

In this video you can see the use of several types of weapons 🏹🗡️ and unarmed combat system. In Illusion Lands, you can change weapons during combat 🔥without any restrictions. We tried to make the most dynamic 💫 and colorful gameplay.

You can use all types of weapons in combat⚡️ both on the ground and in the air☄️. During a successful dodge of enemy attacks, you can use a contractattack🔥 to knockdown the enemy💀

There are many tools in the game which you can use in gameplay e.g.- bombs💣, traps🪤, various consumable items. Some of them can be seen in this small snippet.

Hello fellow adventurers,

We're delighted to announce a brand new update to Warlords Under SiegeFates of Chaos! Brace yourself for a whole new level of unpredictibility, as we introduce two unique game modes: the "Chaos" mode and the "Twitch" mode.

Chaos Mode



In the new Chaos mode, chaos isn't just a part of the game; it is the game. Once per minute, a card is drawn from an eclectic pool of events, leading to a range of spontaneous outcomes. Expect an onslaught of enemy spawns, boss appearances, the obliteration of your beloved buildings, the disappearance of precious resources, buffs to your enemies, debuffs to your units and so much more!

However, do not expect balance. This mode is not designed to be predictable or balanced. Instead, we wanted to create an experience that's purely fun, adrenaline-pumping and constantly challenging. After all, what's adventure without a little chaos?

Our playtesting has shown a variety of reactions from the player base, ranging from a state of blessed euphoria to a PC being thrown out of a window. We're very happy with the results.



You can enable Chaos Mode in the mission selection screen. It's that little head thing. Do note it can be played with in any configuration - it's not a separate game mode. It's an addition to your mission, so it can be enabled at any nightmare level, or endless mode.

Twitch Mode



We've had some content creators enquire about potential integration with Twitch, so we came up with an idea for a way for you to engage with your audience like never before. When this mode is activated, instead of one, three event cards will be drawn. Now, your viewers have the power to shape the fate of your game. They have 30 seconds to vote for the card of their choice using the command 'Vote X'. It's a perfect way to immerse your audience in your journey and turn your gameplay into an interactive spectacle!

You can enable Twitch integration in the options.



Additionally, any viewer can join the battle! By typing a command in chat "!join attack" or "!join def", the viewer's name will appear above a randomly selected unit.



Whether you're a thrill-seeker craving unpredictability with Chaos mode, or a streamer looking to elevate your audience engagement with Twitch mode, we believe the Fates of Chaos update will bring a fresh, exciting twist to your gaming experience.

Learning Geography: Countries of the World - Tom The Cat
Good evening all,
As per a user request the multiple choice section has been modified to select neighboring countries if available rather than randomly chosen from around the world. This should make things a little more challenging for the multiple choice mode.
Scrolling and zooming blocks have been removed so the globe can be scanned with mouse at will.
You can also make the globe set upright by right clicking on it.
