NEW FEATURES:
+ MATE INTERACTION WHEEL - When targeting your family members you'll see a new option for "Interact", this will call your mate to you and reveal several interactions. *Work-in-progress most interactions don't work yet*

+ DEVELOPER NOTE - Apologies the Interaction Wheel is mostly useless for now, one of the critical bugs listed below was severe enough I had to get an update ready before the wheel was done.

GAMEPLAY CHANGES:
+ COMPASS REWORK - Small reworks on the compass making icons more visible and the compass in-general cleaner and more visible.

+ COMPASS DISTANCE - Icons focused in the center of the compass will now reveal their remaining distance.

+ FLIGHT - Auto-landing is now disabled while Targeting, tap the Descend button when on the ground to force landing.

+ DETECTION MODE - All animals can now move while in detection mode, running will exit the mode though.

+ FOV INCREASE - Slightly increased the default FOV for all cameras.

+ NEW OPTION - 'Breeding Restrictions' will let you remove biological breeding restrictions for your animals.

+ NEW OPTION - 'Camera FOV' in the Settings menu lets you increase/decrease the default Field-Of-View for the Camera.

+ TARGETING - Smoothed out the transition between the normal camera and the targeting camera to make it less jarring.

+ SKILL CHECK - Added a small delay after audio cue but before the skill check initiates to give players better reaction time.

+ MOVEMENT - Stopping is now more gradual depending on your speed, full sprint will take a few steps to fully stop the animal.

+ CARRYING MOVEMENT - Increased max speed while carrying object in your mouth.

+ NEW ATLAS ENTRIES - Added Atlas Entries for Vitals and Abilities to explain both their purpose, effects, and how to level them.

BUG FIXES
+ CRITICAL FIX - On death some animals were respawning glitched with a repetitive animation.

+ AI FIX - Respawned animals were retaining their previous travel paths making them try and cross the entire world.

KNOWN BUGS
+ RATS - Body breaks apart when grabbed.

+ CINEMATICS - Lake and River water flashes white on start/end of cinematics.

Bug Fixes
  • Fixed an error where over 15 sound effects, including those for Lamassu, Aeternum, and various Temple interactions, were not working due to a file loading typo.
  • Fixed an issue causing the game to crash when underground blood worms were unable to find a valid tunnel location due to blocked tiles.
  • Fixed a map generation issue where the Arallu temple was able to be placed on top of another location (requires new game start).
  • Fixed a bug where the downstairs would sometimes be missing in large gremlin fortresses, including Grimjaw's fortress.
  • Fixed rooms in gremlin fortresses sometimes not connecting to hallways making them inaccessible.
  • Fixed abilities Renew, Shield Bash, Summon Brambles, and Toxic Plume requiring crossbow to be loaded if activated while crossbow was equipped.
  • Fixed reload ability still using up a turn when it failed to activate due to lack of ammo or incorrect ammo type.
  • Fixed an issue with Gremlin Trapmaster traps blocking other gremlins. Trap Master will now place traps less densely packed; also increased his trap placement cooldown from 10 to 13 turns.
  • Fixed an issue where the Player's chest inventory did not refresh weight accurately.
  • Improved handling of situations when attacking a target that is standing on a trap. We hope this will resolve the issue altogether, but as we are still unable to reproduce the problem reliably, we cannot be certain.
  • Fixed Sprites incorrectly applying the "frightening" status effect.
  • Fixed farmers unable to trade trading.
  • Fixed game crash, related to checking for status effects when an existing status effect had no name.
  • Fixed updated ability hotkeys not displaying the new key on the hotbar icon.

-Takes longer to Grow a Krasis to Kaiju
-All Krasis forms have been nerfed in some fashion
-But all Mutation abilities are now usable before reaching Kaiju status

Red Vulture Mask
-No longer gains progress for permanent status if the hero dies before the end of the combat
-Buffed Waste Not effect from 25% to 50%

Burning Plate
-Now scales with max HP
-Slightly increased radius
-No longer active while no enemies are around


Bugs
-Fixed a bug that made possible to quit and keep progress for Red Vulture Mask
-Fixed a bug that completely messed up damage scales with Blazing Helmet
-Fixed a bug that made duplicated heroes ignore party items
-Fixed a bug that made heroes lose status with party items
-Fixed a bug that made it weird to swap food items with items in the bag

One Hour One Life - jasonrohrer


I have been working through a heap of improvements and fixes this week.

There are several new features on the settings screen for toggling vsync and manually setting the frame rate when vsync is off. You no longer have to go digging through the settings folder to tweak these things.

Objects that empty out as you use them, like buckets, now have a visual distinction between the full and one-less-than-full state.

A new /ORDER command allows you to review the most recent order that you've heard from your leader. Before, if you missed it the first time it was presented, there was no way to recall it later.

Radios no longer work between Donkeytown and the main world.

A bunch of fixes have been put in place for the situation where specialty biomes switch on and off during the wee hours when player counts drop below the threshold of 30. Tool tips get re-enabled, expert waystones still work, and there's a buffer between 30 and 40 players to prevent the specialty biome status from flip-flopping as the player count hovers around 30.

Some glitches in oil flow transitions have been fixed.

You can now remove green beans from a bowl, one by one.

Thunderbolt

Lightning Crashes
