A Blood Fiend Guard is now stationed at the Oversoul Anvil. Earn extra crafting materials from him to use at the Oversoul Anvil, newly stocked with more weapons! And then, help Thok and his fellow Paladins stop the Void Fiend Invasion into the Wasteland.



Nulgath is taking extra precautions in the Forge of the Forlorn. A Blood Fiend Guard is now stationed at the Oversoul Anvil. Luckily he’s looking to pass off some of his… responsibilities… to those looking to empower their weapons at the Forge with four new side quests.

The Oversoul Anvil allows you to craft weapons of varying power. Even more weapons have been added to the Nulgath Nation Armaments shop, now with special effects for the ones with “anomalies”. Click on the anvil to start crafting the weapon most suited for you!

Stop the waves of Void Fiends escaping from the Oversoul portal into the Wasteland!
Talk to Thok after you have completed the quests from the Phoenix Blade of Nulgath questline to unlock his “Void Hunting” quests. Earn Thok’s Approval and Nation Void Scraps for completing these quests by defeating the waves of enemies.

• Void Hunting: Nation Invasion Waves
  Face new enemies streaming into the Wasteland every 5 minutes and defend our side of the portal from the invasion of Nulgath’s Void Fiends.
  
• Void Hunting: The Root of the Problem (Daily)
  Adventure deep into the Hall of Eternal Waiting to track down and defeat Void Guards.

Oversoul Anvils: The anvils in the Forge of the Forlorn having an inconsistency opening menu while interacting has been fixed for easy access to players. Remember that one the left anvil is too cluttered with players; you can utilize the other anvil on the other side of the Forge map to open the same menus and crafting shops.

Fiend Hunting and Catacombs farming methods for Dark Crystal Shards:
The drop rate of the quest Dark Crystal Shards in Fiend Hunting has been very slightly reduced after finding that the drop rate was slightly over-tuned.

Also, AFK timers have been added to the catacombs. Inactive players will be kicked out of the map after 5 minutes of inactivity to facilitate players farming through this method.

Earlier today, we released updates to two aircraft: Local Legend IX: Latécoère Model 631 and Famous Flyer VI: Ford AT-4 Trimotor. You can read the release notes for these plane updates here.

Additionally, due to an internal error, we mistakenly released a new version (1.0.24) of Expert Series I: ATR 42-600 / 72-600. This version is not yet ready for release. We have rolled back and fixed the error, but if you downloaded this version while it was available, please uninstall the plane from Content Manager and re-download the current 1.0.20 version. We apologize for the inconvenience.

As we mentioned last week, we will not be having a monthly Developer Livestream in July due to the unavailability of several team members. We have instead created a pre-recorded video featuring Jorg and several guests to share some new information about Microsoft Flight Simulator. You can watch this video during our regular Community Fly-In Friday livestream on our official Twitch channel. If you would like to participate in this group flight, all the details on how to join the event can be found on our forums here. We will play the developer video relatively early in the livestream after the group takes off and reaches cruise altitude. We hope to see many of you in Twitch chat on Friday!

Fix a problem that made it difficult to pick up the energy cell. For now, don't require active HAL for inventory. Indicate the fence first is the wrong direction. Fix the Alien ship floor. Move dish control to the top of the ridge and fence the area. Add more clues to the location of reactor maintenance. Fix NonStop Q branding. Add no signal hint in Comms. Add in game settings for volume and quit. Widen ladders to make them easier to climb.

A small first update caused by an oversight that left the game guide out of the launched version.
