The Festival of the Four Winds has begun! Everyone is welcome to join this event. This yearly festival features two locations: Labyrinthine Cliffs and the Crown Pavilion. These locations will be available until August 8.
Both Labyrinthine Cliffs and the Crown Pavilion are accessible to players of any level. Even if you're brand new to the game, you can easily take part in all the activities! Read on for a quick rundown of the activities you can participate in during this festival and the rewards you can earn.
Where to Go
The Labyrinthine Cliffs can be accessed through Lion's Arch, and the Crown Pavilion can be accessed in Divinity's Reach. Check your in-game mail for an Invitation to the Festival of the Four Winds and double-click the item to teleport instantly to your desired location.
What to Do
When you enter the Labyrinthine Cliffs, you will arrive in a whole new area! This explorable zone is located on the Tyrian coast; a beautiful map that you can explore. You can navigate this map using the various Aspect crystals: Wind, Sun, and Lightning. There are activities all over the map, so keep your eyes peeled!
Experience the thrill of finding treasure with fellow players by participating in the treasure hunt meta-event, or try your hand at one of the races! The Skimmer Slalom and Flying Dolyak adventures will offer you the fun you need in this beachy location. There are also sky crystals all over the map that you can find to complete achievements.
If you decide to head to the Crown Pavilion, you will discover many other activities! Join other players in defeating the greatest enemies of Kryta in the Boss Blitz event. But worry not; these are not real beings. They are merely Queen Jennah's watchknight soldiers.
Face off against the strongest individuals in Tyria. Talk to one of the fight managers to join the queue, and you will be transported to a one-versus-one arena—the Queen's Gauntlet! Cheer on your friends, or show off your skills to the world.
Rewards
Make sure to participate in as many activities as you can to earn festival tokens! Trade them to the Festival Rewards Vendors located in the Crown Pavilion and Labyrinthine Cliffs to obtain special goodies like Heavy Crafting Bags, Equipment Bags, armor skins, miniatures, exotic weapons, and more.
Complete the annual Four Winds Customs meta-achievement to earn the Krytan Headband.
You can find the festival achievements in your achievement panel under Festivals.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart is dead. His last conscious action on his deathbed was composing the Lacrimosa movement of his Opus Requiem. You, as one of his sponsors, will meet with the widow in order to participate one last time in the funding of the works of the Austrian genius. Also, you will reminisce and retell all your memories alongside Mozart in order to make sure that she portrays you under the best light when writing her memoirs in order to enter history as Mozart's most important patron.
In Lacrimosa, players take the roles of patrons of the late musician, contributing with their fundings to the composer's works one last time. During the game, you play in two different timelines: the present and the past. In the present, you commission the missing parts of the Requiem from other composers in order to complete it. When developing past events, the game takes place in five epochs in which you contribute by buying new compositions from the composer to sell or exhibit, accompany him on the different journeys through the main courts and theaters in Europe, and gather the resources you need in order to support the musician during his career.
During the game, you play cards from a limited hand that you will improve as the game progresses. These cards can be played either as actions or as resource generators, and players need to optimize their resources and finances in order to support their best version of the story and their relationship with Mozart.
Mining Companions, both rogue and well-behaved, sometimes entered an unholy union, with each of them entering simultaneously entering the cargo bay of the other. Attempting to astrogate with such an agglomerate in your cargo bay caused the reality to wrap up on itself and collapse your ship to singularity, crashing the game in the process.
Transponder codes of your mining companions, cargo containers, and beacons will not repeat themselves anymore.
Fixed the coolant leak animation on some reactors, which still glitched if you moved the camera near them rapidly.
