We've seen a lot of people asking when our 3.22 expansion will launch. It's currently looking like it will launch on August 18th (PDT). This isn't fully locked in yet. However, we will confirm its launch date at ExileCon in just a few weeks.
We've also noted that quite a few people have asked whether or not we'll be hosting end-of league-events before Crucible ends. We are currently all-hands-on-deck working on ExileCon, Path of Exile 2 and the 3.22 expansion so we aren't able to host any events this time around.
By the way, don't forget to get your Premium Vault Pass because it leaves the store when the Crucible League ends! The Premium Crucible Vault Pass features the Igneous Emperor Armour Set, which provides a variety of cosmetic effects including leaving a trail of lava in your wake, or turning your health globe into lava. The Vault Pass unlocks cosmetics as you complete bonus map objectives and is retroactive, so if you've already completed your Atlas bonus objectives you'll unlock everything in one go! Find out more or get yours here, or check out the video below.
We can't wait to show off what we've got in store, so we hope to see you live on our Twitch channel or in person at the event!
C3800 DEFENSE MINIGAME: -Fixed a non-looping gate causing the minigame to stop entirely, causing a non-progression. -Fixed easy difficulty final wave being far too hard
IMPROVEMENTS: -Improvements to player choices and choreography to conversations at the end of the experience.
This is my first patch after steam next fest and I was focused on small changes. Also, I slowly prepare to localize my game to other languages so I changed the font to be able to use Japanese and Chinese characters. Because this font is a little bigger I needed to fit it manually in all windows in the game. I hope everything works fine :)
Full changes: - new cursor - rewrite enemy target selection (fix bug with wrong targeting) - fix a bug that lets the player use one card many times - fix life steal sound - fix town view (now it fit all screen) - fix hand visualization (now fit all screen resolutions) - block the possibility to end the game without getting loot - add better hero selection - make a logistic skill 50% better - fix Necrovist (this flying eye) passive ability - fix camera behaviour - add a new font - rescale all windows - fix yaotyl basic skill - make monuments weaker - make "the last born" item weaker
Hello, here's an important update on the game's progress. We have replaced some puzzles that didn't seem intriguing enough with mini-games that make the gameplay much more interesting in our opinion: we truly believe that we have taken the right path when it comes to puzzle design, and we will certainly continue in this direction.
In the meantime, we have performed numerous tests on the game's multiplayer system (which currently only supports up to two players but will expand to four in the future), which also gave us the chance to work on game balancing, especially considering the various difficulty levels we already planned to introduce later, and to fix some bugs.
Given the progress we have made so far, we feel it is time to release a private alpha build for influencers, press and anyone who would like to participate in the beta testing program (for more information and Steam keys, please visit our Discord channel). For everyone else, we will soon be releasing a public demo (also in alpha version).
Thank you all for your support, and we'll see you in the labyrinth :)
1.7.0 This patch got a little bigger than it was supposed to be (I intended this to be a 1.6.X release) but after over a dozen patches on the unstable branch i think it's appropriate to bump it up to 1.7. Main things to take a look at are Cowboy's new Rift utility and Robot's reworked Magnetize (now Gravity Field).
All Characters
Normal throw whiff meter gain reduced to 0
Fixed inconsistency on landing OTG hitboxes (thanks wuffie).
Attacks that do not increment the combo counter will no longer set combo proration.
Added autocorrect toggle for forward dash
Many moves in the game are coded as super moves for some reason or another but are functionally normal specials or attacks. I fixed a bug where these moves ("level-0" supers) were still scaling combo meter gain as if they were super moves.
Ninja
Skull Shaker
Damage increased (800 -> 900)
Brain hemorrhage: applies a damage over time effect once per combo.
Substitute
Added sadness penalty when horizontally substituting away from the opponent. Stronger penalty the farther you teleport. Might be too steep, feedback needed
Cowboy
Shoot
Bullet hitstun decreased (25f -> 18f)
Bullet no longer does self-damage until it bounces at least once
