This week we have a few bug fixes and a mouse movement improvement request that a player made in the Steam forums.
Like last week, this update is smaller compared to prior updates as our development focus has shifted primarily toward the next major update we outlined in our Early Access roadmap. We are targeting a late August release for that update with a new Class, a new Book, Daily Challenges, and a lot more.
We're working hard on the major update and are excited to get it into your hands. For now, on to the notes!
Release Timing
This patch will be released at approximately 10 am PT (UTC-7) on July 5th, 2023.
Removed separation restrictions when single clicking on top of combat units to move. The player can now move closer to enemy units when moving with single clicks of the mouse. (This type of movement was already possible when moving your character with keyboard inputs.)
Fixed a bug where rarely on Unranked Dives, when the player is on a win streak, the run would use slightly higher enemy stats, resulting in them doing more damage.
Fixed Regeneration healing based on the source's stacks instead of the target's.
Fixed Vigor status effect incorrect description: "On being hit, restore 1 HP and lose 1. On end of turn lose all stacks. Max 10 stacks." >>> "On hitting, restore 1 HP and lose 1 stack. On end of turn lose all stacks. Max 10 stacks.
Weaver
Fixed Controlled Weaving not being granted to the player correctly if an enemy dies at the end of a previous turn that causes you to gain Controlled Weaving.
Clairvoyant
Added clarification to Psychic Pulse rare augment Damage Aura: "On use, deal 25 magic damage ..." >>> "On using any Binding, deal 25 magic damage...
Added a new Healer (Cleric) ability: Circle of Healing. This spell creates a circular area on the ground, in a location of your choosing. It will grant a health regeneration buff to you or any allies standing inside of it, up until the point that it expires. This spell is obtained at level 10. Additional ranks increase the amount of life regenerated per tick.
Introduced a new Inquisitor (Cleric) ability: Circle of Slowing. This spell creates a circular area on the ground, at a location of your choosing. This effect will instead debuff enemies though, reducing their attack speed when they are inside of it. It is available at level 10. Additional ranks of it will slow incoming attacks by a larger amount.
Tweaked up the effectiveness of NPC blocking. Particularly on the bottom end of the curve (low level NPCs) will be much more effective at blocking than was previously the case. Higher end NPCs will have a smaller change.
Made some improvements and filled some gaps in some localizations.
REMEDIUM: Sentinels - Mr. Horrible Gelatinous Blob
Hello, Sentinels! In the latest update, the game has received full Steam Deck support, along with several useful features that will enhance and diversify the gameplay. Additionally, we have worked on fixing bugs and added a plethora of new achievements!
We have added the ability to customize control buttons in the settings. Now you can remap the controls according to your preference for a more personalized experience!
In Rush mode, we have implemented not only time tracking but also a scoring system to further challenge players.
Unique objects have been introduced on the game map, which will reward players with points when they are found nearby.
A bug with the golem's movement animation after victory has been fixed.
Weapon decoy now offers more variability. For instance, there is now an ice decoy that freezes enemies and a fire decoy that deals increased damage, among others.
Numerous new achievements have been added! These include tasks such as fully upgrading all weapons, unlocking all golems, earning a million coins, defeating 10,000 enemies, achieving specific score milestones, and more.
And finally, the most significant news: the game has obtained the Steam Deck Verified status!

Fixed the "You Take My Breath Away" achievement (escape miasma without any breath meter) falsely triggering upon respawn when dying in miasma

Changed recipes to ignore stack requirements, allowing the player to buy and pick up recipes in the world that they had already learned from other means, preventing an apparent "inventory full" bug
