The Cooking & Farming Update is now available.

Here are the details of what I did in this major update.

Cooking System
- Possibility to cook food with different ingredient.
- 19 cooking recipes that we will have to discover



Gardien Field
Possibility to create gardien field around the survival camp with the garden hoe tool and you can build the garden field in your village which will allow you to grow different vegetables. We will be able to grow potatoes, onion, carrot, corn, tomato, lettuce, cabbage, buckwheat, wheat, sunflower and hop.





Added 10 Resources
Some resources will only be available in future biomes




Rework the visual of the goblins
I reworked the visual of the chief goblin and the little goblins



Horse leveling and attributes
- Horses can level up and you can assign different attributes to your horse
- You must install a saddle on your horse to be able to board it.
- You can change the name of your horse



Ability to catch wild horses with the Catch Rope
You can capture wild horses with a lasso and I created a mini game to be able to tame it.

Added Features and Adjustments
- I have adjust the goblin difficulty
- The Goblin population increases by 2 per house each Blood Moon

- I increased the population limit to 200 per village
- The goblins have different levels now
- You can now assign horse to a different Stable
- Rework water and fire shader and in-game color
- You can now repair your tools with the workbench
- The workbench detects chests around to take resources for crafting
- I worked on the materials of the objects to improve the color rendering
- You can now craft Animal Feed for your pigs and chickens
- I have rework all the foundations of the buildings and now all buildings collapse when destroyed.
- I worked the defense walls and we can now attach a ladder to climb on them
- I optimized the save system
- I added a large garden to allow the villagers to grow their vegetables
- I added a barn that will allow us to raise animals in the village
- Weather system added
- I enlarged some area in the map
- I fixed some bugs

Had to spend some time testing out/fixing a few unforseen issues that popped up with functionality of the cutscenes from last time around, but otherwise made decent progress.

As a reminder, cutscenes are all of different lengths and content density; roughly the same amount of work is being done each week regardless of the actual number going down.

Still by far on track for 2023!

  • Introducing the "Launch Liquid At Character" node! ...It does exactly what you think it does.



  • Now featuring preview galleries for previewing everything - characters, animations, environments, props, and particles! And also scenes!



  • Screens can now play videos! Yes you heard that right. Warudo is truly becoming OBS day by day. /s
  • The "Throw Prop At Character" node now features impact particles and sounds. You can also further customize the from/to positions of the prop item.
  • Added APNG image support in screens and the "Spawn Sticker" nodes.
  • Some color properties now support HDR! The color picker is also updated with options to set colors in RGBA or hexadecimal.
  • Motion player updated: now you can exclude specific body parts or bones.
  • Expressions now support "Is Binary" mode: these expressions are toggled immediately instead of fading in/out.
  • When not in use, character ragdolls will now automatically reset.
  • New enum nodes introduced: "Switch On Enum Value", "Enum Value", "Select Data by Enum Value". For the geeks!

  • THE FIRST LABORATORY: Starting with this update will be the beginning of a new set of end game locations and content. In these locations expect to have to fight through crowded corridors of zombies and even possibly humans. In the future, larger laboratories and special locations will be added with new puzzles and dangers to uncover. Expect lore to come from these locations.


  • ELECTRICITY & GENERATORS: Via either crafting a generator or scavenging for larger generators, you will be able to provide electricity for the lights, defences and other features of your base.


  • STEAM ACHIEVEMENTS: You can now get multiple achievements while playing the game. Look to unlock them all. In total, with this update there are 20 achievements to unlock.

  • HORDE BEACON: A placeable item that spawns a set number of waves of enemies in a radius around the beacon, these enemies have much better loot and is a good way to test your resilience. Find the best locations to set these up, or the hardest if you're up for the challenge. Found in military areas and from boss zombies.

  • If a weapon has a scope, when aiming in, it will automatically use the scope when aiming (Has an option to disable this)

Vacuum Warrior - Idle Game - Benz56
It was brought to my attention that supporter packs were granting university managers instead of academy managers.

This has been fixed in this update. If you have purchased a pack and redeemed it, you will still get the academy managers on top of the university managers you already received. Just a minor bonus for this slight hiccup.
