It’s time to perk up and get to know the treasure trove of Perks available in WORLD BOSS 1.0.
As you level up in each WORLD BOSS run, you’ll gain access to a plethora of Perks that’ll supercharge your Gladiator and fundamentally change how you play the game. Knowing the ins-and-outs of each of these will help you delete your way to the top of the leaderboard to become the World Boss.

THE PERK-STUDDED LINE UP
Category: Orange
Perk: Active Camo Rarity: Epic Master the ability to become invisible with Active Camo! This perk will camouflage you from other Gladiators for a short time while crouching. With an activation time of just over one second after crouching, you will remain invisible for 10 seconds and hopefully surprise your opponents with a masterful strike.
Perk: Head Hunter Rarity: Epic This spicy perk will grant you an extra 20% damage to all headshots. Don’t let your opponents power go to their heads, instead, activate Head Hunter to get that choice headshot and bring them down a few pegs.
Perk: Hover Rarity: Epic The Hover perk will have you floating on cloud nine. While you are airborne, press your ADS button to hover for a short period of 2.5 seconds. Defy gravity and hover away from your challengers before they’re able to secure your demise.
Perk: Long Range Rarity: Common Who doesn’t enjoy the element of surprise? Well, with Long Range you’ll be able to extend your weapon damage fall-off. The base perk levels up your weapon by increasing the damage range by 25%, as you level up that can increase to an extra 25% on top. With that extra boost, get ready for the competition to ramp up!
Perk: Lunch Money Rarity: Common Remember the kids who stole your lunch money in school? Now it’s time for payback. The Lunch Money perk will grant you extra 50 XP Gems after each Melee kill. If you’re still greedy for more, you can gain an extra 50 XP by levelling it up.
Perk: Recoil Decrease Rarity: Epic It’s time to take the fear out of gun recoil and tame your weapon with this epic perk! With the Recoil Decrease perk you gain a recoil reduction of 20% and as you level up, the ability to increase that by another 20%.
Perk: Reload Speed Rarity: Common Reload at lightning speed! This snappy Perk will increase your Reload Speed by a whopping 25%. Think that’s fast? Add another 25% to that as you level this perk up.
Perk: Ricochet Bullets Rarity: Epic You’ll be bouncing off the walls with excitement for this one, as Ricochet Bullets gives you an extra 25% damage per bounce.
Perk: Quick Scope Rarity: Common Attention sharpshooters! It’s time to scout out your next target in the blink of an eye with Quick Scope. This nifty perk increases your Aim Speed by 25% and Equip Speed by 33%. Boost that by 100% as you level up to really put the fear into your competition.
Perk: Spread Decrease Rarity: Common Spread Decrease, your ticket to accuracy and greatness! Say goodbye to those rogue scattering bullets with this perk as your Hip Fire Spread reduces by 20% and as you level, add an additional 20% on top. You’re welcome.
Perk: Throw Force Rarity: Common It’s time to unleash some ferocious power with Throw Force. Send your equipment flying like a superhero with an increased Throw Velocity of 12.5% and an added 50% impact damage for further throws. As a nice treat, we’ll double those figures once you level this perk up!
Category: Purple
Perk: Blast Radius Rarity: Common Blast away your competition as you increase the blast radius of equipment, such as grenades and firebombs, by 20%! Unleash your full potential and chuck an additional 20% on top as you level this perk up – to really explode onto the scene.
Perk: Electric Damage Rarity: Epic Get positively charged up for this shocking perk. All your attacks will have a 33% chance to deal electric damage and also create a six metre Area of Effect arc to damage nearby players. Channel the unstoppable powers of Zeus and feel the electricity surge through your veins!
Perk: Equipment Effectiveness Rarity: Common Get ready to dial up the damage and effectiveness of all equipment. Equipment Damage will increase by 20% with this perk and also by another 20% as you level it up.
Perk: Explosive Magazines Rarity: Epic Explosive Magazines is a game changing Perk that is set to make a blasting impact in the Arena. When thrown at an unsuspecting enemy, your magazines turn into bombs causing 250 impact damage and a whopping 275 explosive damage in a four metre radius. It’s time to light up the Arena and start causing mayhem!
Perk: Explosive Shots Rarity: Epic Who would've thought that missing a shot could still help you delete your opponent? Well with Explosive Shots, that’s now possible. When firing off shots, if they miss the mark and hit the environment, they have a chance to explode in five metre radius and inflict an explosion damage equal to the shot damage. Depending on the weapon, the proc rate is between 3-7 shots. This awesome perk helps you turn a hiccup into a victory dance.
Perk: Gem Magnet Rarity: Common You’re a gem, so choose a Perk that reflects that! Gem Magnet increases your XP Gem collection range. The base buff gives you an extra 50% on top of your collection range and to be able to hoard as many gems as possible, once you level this up, you can slap another 50% on top!
Perk: Health Scanner Rarity: Common Running on fumes? Looks like Health Scanner is the perk for you! Staying alive and safe from relegation, Health Scanner pings at 10 second intervals with a scan distance of 30 metres to show all the available health pickups in the area. As an added buff available per level, as well as increasing the scan distance by 15 metres.
Perk: Impulse Punch Rarity: Epic Let’s get ready to rumble! You’ll be packing a punch with Impulse Punch, increasing your Melee Impulse Force. Leave your opponents seeing stars with this stunning perk.
Perk: Kinetic Shield Rarity: Epic Break away from the crowd with Kinetic Shield. If your shield is broken, it emits an Impulse Force causing 500 damage in a five metre radius. Kachow.
Perk: Mini Nuke Rarity: Epic Your challengers will regret the day they decided to delete you. This powerful perk will have the potential to drop a Mini Nuke on your death and completely wreak havoc on the battlefield. With a staggering max damage of 2000, it blasts off in a 35 metre radius and the chance for it to detonate increases with each kill you get!
Perk: Quick Cooldowns Rarity: Common With Quick Cooldowns, you’ll be ready to get back into the thick of it faster and get a leg up on your competition. Gifting you with a 25% faster Equipment Cooldown and with the potential to increase that by another 25%.
Perk: Supercharged Rarity: Epic As payback for the Gladiator who managed to delete you, you will explode upon death, causing a staggering figure of 1750 damage in an eight metre radius. Go out with a bang… literally!
Category: Red
Perk: Airborne Aggression Rarity: Common Rain down vengeance from the skies with Airborne Aggression. While airborne, increase your damage by 10%. Enjoy your time in the sky? Well once you level this up you can add another 10% on top. Spread your wings and unleash your fury!
Perk: Backstabber Rarity: Common Who doesn’t love a good backstabbing plot twist?! Well, with Backstabber increases your damage by 5% when sneaking up on unsuspecting victims and, you guessed it, shooting them in the back. To increase your desire for mischief, you’ll get another 5% extra damage on top when you level it up.
Perk: Boss Killer Rarity: Common The crown is yours for the taking… and the Boss Killer perk may just help your chances of stealing it. This perk increases damage to the World Boss by 10%. Not enough? Fine, we’ll give you another 10% as you level it up to increase your chances.
Perk: Chain Killer Rarity: Common Home in on your target and make sure you don’t miss! Chain Killer will increase your weapon damage by 15% for a duration of 10 seconds after you manage to delete an opponent.
Perk: Fire Damage Rarity: Epic Set your competition ablaze and really heat up the fight with Fire Damage. All attacks have a 33% chance to deal fire damage, dealing 15 damage each tick for two seconds. Let the chaos begin.
Perk: Heavy Hitter Rarity: Common Prefer to use your hands? Heavy Hitter may be the Perk for you. Increase your Melee Damage by 30% and then slap on an extra 30% as you level it up! It’s time to deliver the knockout blow!
Perk: More Ammo Rarity: Common Hate to break it to you, but in this case, size definitely matters. Increase your Magazine capacity by 35% with More Ammo. If you don’t think that enough, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered if you level it up with an extra 35%.
Perk: Overpower Rarity: Epic Overpower does exactly what you think it does, turns you OP. Increase your damage to all players that have status effects by 10%... per effect! You’ll be a force to be reckoned with.
Perk: Pierce Bullets Rarity: Epic Shoot your way through the competition with Pierce bullets. This lethal perk sends your bullets flying through multiple targets and deals 25% more damage per target hit!
Perk: Rocket Shot Rarity: Epic Shoot for the stars with Rocket Shot! With this perk, the first bullet in a magazine fires off a rocket causing a blazing 350 Damage.
Perk: Shield Breaker Rarity: Common Don’t let your opponents hide behind their defences. Shield Breaker is here to stir things up, applying a buff to all attacks so they deal more damage to Shields and Equipment by 15%.
Perk: What a Rush Rarity: Common Delete your enemies and become even more powerful as you gain a 35% increase in fire rate for six seconds. What a Rush!
Category: Green
Perk: Better Healing Rarity: Common In the event your opponents have the upper hand and are getting the best of you, Better Healing may be the Perk for you! Your healing will be increased by 10% with the chance to double that as you level it up.
Perk: Bonus HP Rarity: Common With some help from Bonus HP, your max HP will increase by 15%. Still worried you might lose your HP too quickly? Upgrade your Perk and increase your HP by another 15%!
Perk: Bonus Shield Rarity: Common Sometimes when taking cover is the only option, Bonus Shield has got your back. Increase your Shield Capacity by 15%. Still need more? You’ll get the chance to upgrade your shield further and add 15% on top.
Perk: Energised Rarity: Epic This is a Perk of Epic proportions, so get ready to be Energised! Take less elemental damage and gain a bonus when hit by an element. Reduce your Electric Damage taken by 50% as well as increasing your stats. When taking Electric Damage:
Move Speed increases by 30% for 4.5s
Reload Speed increases by 100% for 4.5s
Fire Rate increases by 20% for 4.5s
Perk: Fast Shields Rarity: Common Regenerate your shield at the speed of light with Fast Shields. This Perk will increase your Shield Regen rate by 200% at the beginning, with the potential to upgrade that by another whopping 200%!
Perk: Healing Gems Rarity: Common If you’re not farming for Gems, you will now. Healing Gems does exactly what the label says, gain 25HP per Gem you collect. Gladiators still draining your HP? Add another 25HP per Gem on top after levelling up.
Perk: Health Drop Rarity: Epic We’re giving you more reasons to delete as many opponents as you can. Healing Drop will cause a Health pickup to spawn on a deletion.
Perk: HP Regen Rarity: Common Find a safe spot, take a break and get some life back into you. HP Regen will passively regenerate your Health while out of combat by 3% of your health per tick. Want to upgrade this Perk? Well, add another 3% per tick onto that.
Perk: Ignition Rarity: Epic Someone decided to light you on fire? Well it’s time to get some payback. Ignition will grant you unlimited ammo and increased damage by 15% while you’re on fire. Not only that, any extra incoming fire damage will be reduced by 50%.
Perk: Juicy Gems Rarity: Common The juice is worth the squeeze on this one. Juicy Gems will give you a bonus 10XP per Gem collected. Focusing on XP upgrades? The next level will add an extra 10XP to that.
Perk: Last Chance Rarity: Epic It’s your Last Chance, so give it everything you’ve got! This Epic perk will give you a 25% chance to enter a godly state and be invincible for three seconds on death, and if you manage to delete your opponent, will be revived.
Perk: Life Steal Rarity: Epic The more the merrier with it comes to health. Life Steal gives you the chance to regain a percentage of damage dealt as Health. 50% of damage dealt can be regained, and we’ll be nice and double that if you level up the Perk.
Perk: Refuel Rarity: Epic It’s time to Refuel and get back into the game. Gain health on Reload based on how much ammo has been spent. Regain up to 40% max health!
Perk: Quick Fix Rarity: Epic Get your shields up! Quick Fix will grant you shields and start Shield Regen on kill. This increases regen rate by 2.5x for 4 seconds and the Shield On Kill effect will have a max shield capacity of 35%.
Perk: Thick Skull Rarity: Epic Who said having a Thick Skull is a bad thing? With this bolstering perk, it definitely isn’t! Gain the chance to negate any incoming headshots with a Resist Chance of 50% and also reap the rewards for an 100% Headshot Bonus due to Headshot Damage Resist. You’ll leave other Gladiators scratching their heads in disbelief.
Category: Blue
Perk: Air Dash Rarity: Common Become light as a feather and fast as a cheetah with Air Dash. Press Sprint while in the air to gain a burst of movement. With a Dash range of 3.5m and a cooldown of one second, no one will catch you! As you level this up, gain an extra dash as a bonus.
Perk: Fast Feet Rarity: Common Get those feet moving with Fast Feet. Increase your Sprint speed by 10% with the ability to up that by another 10% as you level it up.
Perk: Ground Slam Rarity: Epic Cannonball! Crouch while airborne to slam into the ground, creating an impulse effect with a staggering 500-1250 Damage in a 3-8m Radius. You can’t get more Epic than that!
Perk: Jetpack Rarity: Epic Fly away from all your problems, and enemies, with Jetpack. Hold jump to activate and soar upwards into the sky!
Perk: Long Arms Rarity: Common Extend your reach with Long Arms! Get the upper hand on your competition by increasing your Melee range by 35%. If you do your stretches and level up, you can increase it by another 35%. Time to snatch that crown straight off the World Boss’ head!
Perk: Multi-Jump Rarity: Common You’ll be leaps and bounds ahead of other Gladiators with Multi-Jump. This Perk adds an extra jump while in the air to get to those high vantage points. As you it level up, you can upgrade the Perk to gain an extra jump.
Perk: Ratman Rarity: Epic Na, na, na, na, na… Ratman! Increase your crouch speed by 70%. Who wants to be World Boss when you can be Ratman?
Perk: Slide Jump Rarity: Epic Slide Jump with buff you to gain extra height when you… well, Slide Jump!
Perk: Slide Kick Rarity: Epic Whup-ah! Slide Kick damages and impulses players when sliding into them, causing 500 damage.
Perk: Super Jump Rarity: Epic Super Jump will turn you into a superhero. Holding crouch prior to jumping will blast you off into the sky and give you the ability to jump higher than ever before!

I'm very excited about what's coming. Today the game was updated with version v1.1, where dynamic interactions between characters and in combat are added.
Next week will be an important update, because v1.2 will come with accessibility settings and an Assist Mode.
After that, v1.3 will come which will be the Combat Update, which I plan to be quite big.
A new update with improvements and fixes for the Alpha version of 171 is available!
We are aware that all of you are eager to check out the news of the BETA version of the game and follow the progress of development.
Currently, our artistic team is committed to expanding the game’s content, including building the final map, creating new vehicles, among others.
Since the launch of early access, we have expanded our team, now counting on about 30 qualified professionals to help us in the development of 171. With this growth, we have been able to work on various aspects of the game simultaneously. Currently, all artistic concepts are completed, the final map of the game already has its blocking completed and is now going through one of its most important pipelines, level design. We already have dozens and dozens of vehicles ready to be added to the game that range from simple cars and motorcycles to trains and trucks, in addition to hundreds of objects in the process of being created for the map.
As we advance in artistic creation, we begin to improve and add new features to the game. Some of these new features you will be able to check out in upcoming updates for the game on Steam. We know that this process takes time, however, the result has been satisfactory. We understand that waiting for new updates can be challenging, but just like in all development so far, we seek to deliver the best for all of you. Soon, we will share more information about ongoing work here!
Addition of a new category of vehicles: some models of small trucks can be found parked in specific areas;
Addition of new explosive: remote bomb. You can position it in strategic places and activate the explosion from a long distance;
Addition of new explosive: gas bomb. It can be useful for hiding during confrontations and performing stealthy eliminations;
Addition of the category of melee weapons, which can be used to win a hand-to-hand combat quickly and silently. Two weapons from this category have been added: knife and brass knuckles. You can acquire them at the weapon store or find them inside some house;
Addition of a new consumable item: medicine jar. It can be used to recover your life whenever you want. You can acquire medicine from the doctor at the hospital or find it inside some house;
Addition of new modification options in the tuning workshop for car wheels;
Map editing: Time has passed in the city, some changes have happened on the map since then, and it seems that the population is excited to continue the change;
Addition of the “stealth challenge”: conquer a criminal area by eliminating all targets only with melee weapons and earn an in-game money reward.

Punctual optimizations on objects, textures, and programming (starting to replace the placeholder methodology to begin integrating deep optimization);
New consumables system: it is now possible to select consumable items through weapon selection.

Fixed problem with motorcycle camera that executed the settings of the last car used;
