I'd like to thank everyone who played the demo at the Steam Next Fest event, and a huge thank you to those who added the game to their wishlist! In this post, I'm going to talk about the systems and content that will be added to the game between now and launch. The current demo of the game includes all of the content that has been implemented to date, and I hope to continue to update the demo in the future to see what players think. Please feel free to play around with the demo and let me know what you think!
Sail Rework
First up is reworking the sails. This work will allow the sails to better represent the direction and strength of the wind, fold and unfold smoothly, change colors, and add emblems.
Firing Muskets
I plan to add a sailor who shoots a musket to give the ship the flexibility to take on different types of enemies, and to keep the battle going even when the ship's cannons are low on ammo. I'm looking forward to making the game even more scalable with this update.
Pirate Fortress
The pirate fortress will be a challenging fixed objective. Destroying it will require a powerful fleet and skillful command from the player.
Creature
The creature will be an unexpected threat on your voyage, or you can take your fleet and invade the dragon's nest to slay the dragon and take its treasure.
Add Biomes
Different biomes will change the look of the city and the goods that can be purchased, and I'm hoping this will make exploration more fun for players.
And... More Ships!
These are some of the ships that will be added. My goal is to have at least 10 unique ships available when the game launches. All ships will be configured to allow the player to move around inside.
Conclusion
In addition to the above, I plan to add many other elements to make the game world dynamic, such as different weather, fish, birds, and different types of quests. Thanks for reading and stay tuned for more.

Fixed Itada sometimes walks too fast Fixed to make it easier to communicate with up to 3 youtube players in all stages. Fixed that the song doesn't play at the ending
- Added functionality to allow changing shipment quantities 10 or 1000 at a time (you could already change them 100 at a time). Holding down Shift moves 10 every time you click the up or down button, holding down Ctrl moves 100, and holding down Alt moves 1000. - Fixed an issue where the game would "forget" that Ctrl was held down if you clicked on a UI element (including text labels in the UI).

A new ending has been added to the game. What new secrets will you uncover at River Fields Mortuary?
Added new haunt events
Added 3 new bodies to ebalm
Haunt aggressiveness slider that changes how frequent the player experiences haunt events has been added
Miscellaneous:
Improved portions of the haunt system to better work with the new slider
Bug Fixes:
Fixed an issue where players could still moisturize with the quick inventory open
Adjusted some lighting issues
A number of fixes to the finale system that were causing various soft lock issues early in a shift.
Fixed a bug in the tutorial sequence where the door note did not display the correct initial interact icon
Fixed a long standing performance issue with the endless hall event
Fixed an issue where it was sometimes difficult to open the basement doors due to interact distance
Adjusted some lighting issues
Note From the Dev:
Thank you everyone for continuing to support and play The Mortuary Assistant! As I’ve stated in other posts, this update will be the last major update for the foreseeable future. That doesn’t mean there won't be any updates but I have been supporting MA exclusively for almost a year now and it is time for me to focus on new projects and content. Keep an eye out for random things like new bodies, haunts, etc. but the updates will slow dramatically from here. Thank you all again so much for being here to enjoy The Mortuary Assistant!

As a reminder to receive the update you need to close and reopen Steam.
In case of any confusion to do a manual save you can access it in the journal in the rightmost, red tab with the gear icon on it. If you have never made a save click an empty save file to use. We will work to make this clearer to new players in a future update!
