This is a fun update and you can now build a bunker at the 85% journey location. You need ten survivors and ten upgrade points to build a bunker. The bunker can have up to two shotguns (you need to unlock the second shotgun from the Unlock Abilities menu) and you then upgrade the fire power of those shotguns just like how you upgrade the firepower of weapons on your train. The purpose of the bunker is to help with accomplishing the 35 minute survival challenge and I've placed a shortcut button that will fast forward time to 31 minutes which is when the boss waves start. Click on the bunker to build it in the first place and then click on the bunker to upgrade its firepower.
I've added a Game Settings option at the left side of the screen when in game. From this menu you can toggle the Special Reward Popup, Screen Shake, and the floating damage numbers.
Ok that's it for updates prior to launch. Future updates to Choo Choo Survivor will be coming post launch and my intention is to have a four to six week update schedule so I can package a nice bundle of content updates all together.
Keep on sending feedback and keep on demolishing the zombie hordes. Good luck Choo Choo Engineers!

The main goal of the update is to make the gameplay more comfortable, to add story immersion, interesting quests and an even creepier atmosphere to the game.
Story Now the character begins the game with a prologue. He wakes up in the basement, and immerses himself in the backstory by reading notes and listening to audio diaries on tapes. To get to the main building, you need to go through quests in the basement, which require logical thinking and ingenuity. An omnibus storyline is also introduced, according to which the character has to investigate the circumstances of the disappearance of the detectives who investigated this place before him.
Graphics update Updated textures of rooms, added details of locations. The layout of the premises has been partially changed on the map. There were more of them, as well as possible shelters and opportunities to bypass. Added new post-processing effects: fog from dust (with quality behavior relative to light). The lighting has also been changed. Places where there are no light sources are completely dark, but at maximum zoom, the surrounding elements and the character's hands are still visible. The light sources now have an increased quality of distribution, and the translucence of surfaces has been eliminated.
Game mechanics Improved mechanics of previous quests, more carefully implemented mechanics of boss behavior.

Thank you for your support to our game and we are truly grateful for making this far. However, after our major update on June 19th, we became aware of certain performance issues encountered by our players. To address this problem, we are optimizing the game itself and providing a comprehensive setting guide to assist you in quickly addressing any debugging needs.
Furthermore, we would like to apologize to players who have encountered game crashes. As we completely rebuilt the game using UE5, the transition to the new system has introduced changes that may result in crashes or malfunctions for players who had previously downloaded "Wandering In Space."
We are actively working on game optimizations, the best solution at this time is to uninstall the game and download it again. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this process. To ensure that every player enjoys smooth gameplay and resolves any performance-related challenges, we have prepared an all-inclusive setting guide. This guide caters specifically to Pico and Quest 2 headset users, as well as those utilizing SteamVR.
For Quest 2 users:
● Open App library and then click Virtual Desktop
● Adjust the resolution setting according to your graphics card or a similar model. Setting it too high on low configurations may lead to lag and latency issues. ● Different resolution settings will automatically adjust the corresponding bitrates, ensuring a smoother gaming experience.
For Pico users:
● Adjust the resolution setting according to your graphics card or a similar model. Setting it too high on low configurations may lead to lag and latency issues. ● Different resolution settings will automatically adjust the corresponding bitrates, ensuring a smoother gaming experience.
For SteamVR settings:
● Within the SteamVR settings, navigate to the "General" section and set the Render Resolution to "Auto." This allows the system to determine the optimal settings based on your PC environment.
● We advise against selecting "Manual" settings as it forces your PC to run at a specific resolution, potentially causing performance issues.
If you are using a different type of headset and require assistance or updates, we warmly invite you to join our Discord community: https://discord.gg/HRpSjTYxem. Our dedicated team will provide technical support, keep you informed, and ensure that you have the best possible gaming experience.
Once again, we thank you for your love and support for our game. We remain committed to delivering continuous improvements in performance and providing you with a truly immersive VR gaming experience. Should you have any questions or feedback, please feel free to contact us.
