The Enjenir Playtest - The Enjenir - PeatyTurf
Playtest instructions if you've already tested the game:
  • Replay the tutorial (new changes, bug fixes and narration added)
  • Start a "New Game" slot, and ignore the new visual bug on the level selection screen which says you've already completed lots of missions when you haven’t (in this new saved). We're already aware of this bug and are already fixing it.
  • We have identified a bug in the main menu where the music doubles up for some people. It's just in the main menu so bear with it for now and it'll be patched in the next update!


General Updates:
  • Tutorial Voiceover added
  • Number of random tutorial bugs fixed
  • Added more signposts in the third person tutorial to provide clearer instructions
  • New missions added in game throughout all levels
  • Incorporated NPC pictures into mission descriptions for context
  • Made missions harder to cheat (sorry Donald lol)
  • Clarified that the settings menu (including keybinds etc) are all placeholder with no functionality (other than music control)
  • Overhauled weight system of building materials. Members weigh more depending on their size, instead of fixed weight per member type.
  • Overhauled the points/scoring system for completing missions. Compensation is now money only.
  • Overhauled the mission completion screen, with an advanced breakdown of materials used.
  • Music levels decreased

Building Mode Specific Updates:

  • Added a toggleable building guide / control guide on left of screen informing the player of which buttons / controls do what (rotation, scaling, offset etc) specific to each member.
  • Added the option to "refine" designs even after successfully completing a mission
  • Camera control system updated. Camera remains at the same level/altitude when using WASD, and will only go downwards or upwards with Q and E.
  • The Wheel, Rotating Joint, and Enjenir placement system has changed. Instead of usingall rotation changes: rotating wheels and the Enjenir along the Z axis no longer use CTRL + scroll wheel to rotate. New system requires you to click, hold and drag left or right to rotate, release click to place. Middle mouse wheel will abort placement.
  • Cursor no longer moves when panning.
  • Clash detection improved with large rotating members
  • Clash detection improved no longer clashing with nails
  • When placing a sheet, holding shift will prevent the sheet from snapping to a surface and will just project it outwards, with the projected end not needing to be attached to anything.

Third Person Character Specific Updates:

  • Overhauled the UI guide in tutorial (and toggleable in game) showing which buttons do what for the Third Person Character)
  • Autowalk option added. Now you can autowalk with W (forward) and S (backwards). Holding shift sprints. Precision walking/running is still available with A and D.
  • General Climbing improvements added across the board.
  • Fixed bug when climbing up and over a wall which made it difficult to pull yourself up and over the edge. When climbing, aiming downwards will now pull yourself forward over edges more effectively.
  • Overhaul of character weight distributions
  • Fixed end of mission / start of mission bug where character continued walking from one mission to the next

The Hopebringer - VR Dev
Today marks the first month in Early Access for The Hopebringer. And this update recaps the changes that made it into the early access build this week.

Highlights of the week included new NPC companions who will accompany you in most scenarios, along with four new summoned pets. It also saw the game get localized in 10 new languages.

Companions

  • Introduced three new companion NPCs. These are allies who will accompany you on your on adventures. There is one of each class: A warrior, mage, and cleric. It will assign you with companions of a different class than your character on missions that support them. If one of your companions dies, they are dead for the duration of the scenario.
  • Improved our spawner system to allow for greater variety in ranges based on companion or player counts, and scenario.
  • Introduced four new summoned pets. More details on them can be found in the Skills and Abilities section.
  • Companion networking optimizations.

Dungeons/Scenarios

  • Improved our spawner system to allow for greater variety in ranges based on companion or player counts, and scenario.
  • Increased the number of enemies required in the Trimming Their Numbers quest.
  • Made tweaks to spawn counts in numerous scenarios, to compensate for the new companions.

Items and Loot

  • Shaman and Witch-Doctor NPC variations now have a small chance to drop Lycanthrope Fangs.
  • Increased the drop rates of Orc Blood.
  • You can now buy Orc Blood in small quantities from shopkeepers or magic vendors.
  • Turned down the loot ratio of Health and Power potions, as well as portal scrolls.

NPCs

  • Spiders now have hit reactions.

Skills and Abilities

  • Introduced a new Conjurer spell: Summon Orc. This spell requires Orcs Blood. It will summon an Orc pet. Orc pets have slightly less hit points than the skeleton pets from Witches, but deal greater damage. They can be differntiated from standard orcs by their blueish skin and unique appearance. Increased skill ranks increase the damage and health of these pets, as well as increasing the maximum number that can be summoned at a time.
  • Added a new Conjurer spell: Summon Spider. It uses Spider Venom to summon a Spider pet, and is a child ability of Summon Orc, which unlocks at level 7. These pets have a spider leaping special ability, as well as a chance to poison their victims. They have less hit points, but deal more damage than Orc pets. They receive a small bonus to their hit points for each rank you have in Summon Orc. These spiders have a yellow skin texture to make them easy to differentiate from other spiders.
  • Implemented a new Conjurer spell: Summon Werewolf. This summon spell requires a Lycanthrope Fang as a component. It is on the same line that begins with Summon Orc, and requires you to be level 15 or higher to gain access. Werewolf pets are fast, powerful, and have a high number of hit points. They are currently by far the strongest pets in the game. The downside to them of course, is that they require an uncommon component. Summoned werewolves have white fur, to make them stand apart from the NPC varieties. They have a retaliation ability which will often make them return incoming attacks with a free response action. Werewolf pets receive a bonus to their health for every skill rank in Summon Orc, and a bonus to their max damage for every 2 skill ranks in Summon Spider.
  • Integrated a new Witch spell: Summon Healer. This spell requires bone chips, and will summon a Spectral Healer. It is a child of the Summon Skeleton and Hold Undead line. And requires you to be level 15+ to train it. These have a greenish tint and are less transparent, to differentiate them from the NPC variations. Unlike other pet types you can only have one healer active at a time. Summoning a second one will destroy the first. Healers will receive a health bonus for each skill rank of Summon Skeleton which has been trained, and a bonus to their casting speed for each skill rank in Hold Undead.
  • Made adjustments to the power costs of many spells and abilities. This included: Healing Wave, Leaping Strike, Shield Smash, Leg Slice, Buckle Down, Overpower, Sanctifying Shock, Cleanse, Hold Undead, Ward, Strength, and Meteor Strike.
  • The Strength skill (Protector/Cleric) now starts with 2 additional strength baseline.
  • The healing component of Siphon Life (Witch/Mage) now starts with 5% additional lifetap.
  • Despite the tooltip reading the intended 20 power cost for Summon Skeleton, it was only actually removing 5 power. That has been fixed.
  • Taunt now properly displays the Attack Rating bonus buff you receive from it. That bonus was always being given but it wasn't being displayed in tooltips.

Sound

  • Added new unique companion sound effects.
  • Werewolves have new sound effects.
  • Added new voice overs for rescued prisoners.
  • Added additional sound effects to Ghosts.

User Interface

  • Made some adjustments to UI layouts and underlying code, to try to compensate for some text being larger in non-english languages. This included some rather large underneath the hood changes. Please report any bugs you find on the forums.
  • Changed the Hold Undead icon.
  • Font adjustments to better accommodate localization.

Miscellaneous

  • The game has been localized in French, German, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish, and Ukrainian. If you run into any isues with the localization, please let us know on the forums. This should be considered a first pass.
  • General performance improvements.
  • Quite a few texture optimizations.
  • Fixed a bug that had some Fire Staffs causing Lightning damage.

On Monday, June 26, S301-S303 will clean up inactive accounts from time to time, each cleaning lasts for 10-20 minutes. Inactive accounts refer to: 1. Land above level 10 has not been occupied. 2. It has not been online for three consecutive days. 3. No top-up. At the same time, the above three points are inactive accounts, which will be cleaned up.
On Thursday, June 29, the whole server will be maintained from 10:00 to 12 o'clock. After maintenance, S301-S303 will enter the third season. For the specific content of the season, please refer to the season description in the world.

Activity time: 00:00 on June 29th to 23:59 p.m. on July 5.
Return to player definition: Calculated from the first login at the beginning of the activity, players who have not logged in for 7 consecutive days will be judged as returning players after logging in for the first time during the activity time, and the status will not be modified after that.
Returning players can bind a non-return player in the same server.
Non-return player definition: Players who do not meet the definition of return players will be judged as non-return players when logging in for the first time during the activity time. The middle state will not be modified. New characters created during the event are also non-return players.
Non-return players can be bound by 3 return players in the same server.
During the activity: Returning players will issue corresponding resources and ingot rewards according to the lost time when logging in for the first time.
All players can receive daily login rewards every day during the activity.
During the activity, returning players and non-returned players can receive corresponding rewards after recharging the corresponding amount.
Issuance of additional rewards:
When receiving single and continuous recharge benefits from the return activity, players who are bound to it will also receive corresponding rewards by email.

Hello everyone, just wanted to let you know what's going on with the game, and what's coming in the next update.

As many of you reported, there are some issues with the AI, right now i am reworking the system to fix all the issues.

And the upcoming update will introduce some new content:

- New vehicle - Jeep with storage, will consume more fuel than the bike

- Bunker system, there will be randomly generated bunkers to explore (they will contain good loot but also zombies)

- Changes to the Farming (plant bed) system

- Two new zombie types (Spitter and Giant)

- Improvements to the gun system and two new guns and attachments for all the guns

Hoping to get this update ready by start of August

GameCrafterTeam has just uploaded a quick patch, code named 'Zuikakou Kai Go.'

This patch fixes a crash bug that sometimes happens when restarting M8, adjusts easiest mission difficulty on M9, and increases Ryusei unit shield on all missions.
