Hello chiefs!

Some small changes were pushed today that should fix alot of issues that have been occurring in the Galaxy lately! This includes the issue where players would randomly be sent back to the tutorial phase on a colony or friend's planet.



We also fixed random crashes that would happen during and or after a battle causing the entire battle to end up not being saved at all.

Note: Every user was given 40 chips as compensation for the recent bugs.

So, as some of you may (or may not have noticed), yesterday the Apache models got a texture upgrade thanks to A.I. image upscaling.

This did an really rather good job of taking the low resolution (1k) interior textures and spitting out very clean high reolution (4k) textures. While it is obviously making assumptions to things like key text I think the overall effect was pretty good.

I've also been playing around to see what else A.I. generated content could be used in this game. The obvious choice would be pilot portraits, so here are a few that I generated via Midjourney.





It can also generate them as pixel art...
