We want to give you a quick update on the current development of Realm 2 and the release date.
We have decided to push the release until August/September. A specific date will be communicated nearer the time. We recently lost our programmer from the project, which was a setback for us. Now with our current developer, we're working on a save export system, allowing you to export your saves safely to Realm 3 upon completion of Realm 2.
We also drastically raised the image and animation quality halfway through the development of Realm 2. We're now working on changing the lighting and quality of the first half. We've posed all the renders and animations for Realm 2. It is now just a case of lighting, rendering and enhancing these. We decided to increase the scope of the finale of Realm 2 by adding many more renders and animations (which made the finale of Realm 2 twice as big as planned), which delayed our release plans.
We don't regret this, as we think they will drastically improve the finale. However, we do apologise for the delay that it will cause.
In the meantime, we thought you would like to see new previews of Realm 2: Pythonium.
Star Industries S.L plans to open new headquarters and launch a revolutionary product during the next few weeks.
The leading computer company is finalizing the development of a powerful tool. According to the latest press conference they have said it will set precedents in the software and operating systems industry.
The beginning of this decade of the 70s has been promising and we are already seeing risky bets for the computers of large companies and offices.
What will Star Industries have to offer us for our home computers?
I've contacted Valve to switch the game from free to paid, as well as include the Episode 3 package out of the box.
People who got the free app before this should be getting Episode 3 for free. Consider this my attempt at course-correcting after the confusing mess that was release. Yes, it's extremely unfair to those who paid for the games, but it's the least bad outcome I can make out of my gross mistake. As far as I can tell from here, anyway.
Episodes 1 and 2 are still there for completeness' sake, but will remain DLC as they aren't quite essential. Nor very good.
