New Feature - Ghost Town Modifier

Added Ghost Town Custom Modifier Card! Ghost Town allows all dead players to vote still. Ghost votes are anonymous, and the number of votes required to put a player on trial, when using this modifier, now factors in the number of alive + dead players in the game (disconnect players do not count)

Improvements

• Clarified Admirer's Care ability bypasses Jail.
• Clarified Psychic feedback messages to say "at least one" of the players is good on good vision nights, and "at least one" of the players is evil on evil vision nights.
• Wildling role card now says they can read all whispers.
• Clarified that the Hex Master must be alive to have the hex bomb go off, unless reanimated by the Necromancer.
• Clarified that the Hex bomb will kill all players. It is stronger than an unstoppable attack.
• Improved the creator code process so that if you put in a creator code to support a creator, purchases for 7 days will be automatically attributed to that creator.
• Retributionist will not be able to use stoned roles anymore
• Neutral Apoc will now know when a teammate is dragged off to Jail
• Traitor Jailor will not notify Coven teammates who they jail
• Executioner will not be forced to have themselves as an execution target anymore
• Admirer cannot propose once Rapid Mode starts
• Rapid Mode will only activate at the start of day now
• Added some anti-hacking measures to prevent players from appearing in other player's houses at night and seeing them move around.
• Previous game results is now a dock item

Sentinel Dev Log
Sentinels are good, little buddies you can buy at the sentinel shop, pick up from random events or earn after defeating bosses! Each unique sentinel has their own unique die which you roll every turn. You can only have two sentinels active at the same time so picking the sentinels that fit your strategy is a must!

Cellarius is a heavy hitting berserker, dealing tons of purification but in return taking a lot of corruption as well. Managing that damage taken is the key to success with Cellarius.

Hevelius, The Ancient Warden is a massively armored robot crocodile who protects and empowers his little sentinel buddies to make purifying the corruption in the galaxy a team effort!

Austra
Austra is about probability and manipulating odds to give you a favorable outcome. Their dice pool includes crit chances and dodge chances. Critical will increase the purification you will deal and dodging will, well dodge corruption that the enemy may apply.

I'm excited to announce that I'm working on The Hidden Art of Innkeeping, the sequel to The Lost Art of Innkeeping!

Elinor is taking on the challenge of transforming a dilapidated farmhouse in a small seaside village into a luxurious inn. You'll see a few familiar faces from Lost Art (I'm so glad some of you gave feedback on your favorite guests!) but the new game will have a different setting and storyline, lots of new people, some new features, and can be played without knowing anything about the previous game.

After I released Lost Art, a few people asked for a sequel, which made me happy that they had enjoyed the game enough to want more but I felt that I had other ideas that I wanted to bring to fruition. I was able to work on a few different projects for game jams, including The Ghost Cage in 2020, Forest Star in 2021, and Mayor On The Run (currently available only on Itch.io) in 2022, so I kinda got that out of my system.

I settled on the basic plot for Hidden Art back in 2021 (I usually need an ending in mind before I can start working on a game), and it took me several months to plan out the characters, areas, and gameplay features on a spreadsheet. Having said that, I'm still constantly changing things as new ideas and characters come to mind!

I would say that at this stage, I'm a little more than halfway through the development of the game. I'm hoping to release it in either late 2023 or early 2024, but we'll see... I want to make sure that the game is as polished and bug-free as possible upon release, and playtesting always takes longer than I expect.

It's going to be a while before I create a Steam page for The Hidden Art of Innkeeping, mainly because a trailer's required for one. In the meantime, I'm planning to release updates about the game regularly on https://seaphoenix.itch.io/hiddenart and Twitter, and I hope you're all as excited as I am! :)
