The changes have been implemented over the course of several small updates since Jun.19.

Hand-holding

• After start of a new career, the garage side panel is now automatically opened after closing the welcome dialog.
  You will have to press Esc or Mouse 4 to toggle it as normal afterwards.
  
• Honking near a pedestrian while going too quickly now displays a mid-screen message instructing to slow down.
  These instructions stop appearing after you've talked to a few pedestrians, and have other limitations to keep them from being intrusive.

Misc

• Fixed rare crashes related to pedestrian and racer selection RNG.
  
• Fixed a crash related to changing tach font.
  
• Removed some leftover debug text in the city.
  
• The game now launches in windowed mode by default - this is a temporary solution for avoiding startup issues on some systems, while we figure out the cause.
  You are safe to switch to fullscreen mode after launching the game for the first time!

This is a small introductory episode to the future game. It shows an incident that took place long before the events at Grayswood Farm.

The prologue tells the story of the first contact with a UFO, which happened 30 years before the events shown in the demo. The protagonist is Private Michael Anderson, who works at a military base near Grayswood Farm. By a coincidence, he becomes a witness to terrible, inexplicable events.

Q: Will the game be FreeToPlay, and are we going to be able to buy in-game cosmetics ?
A: No, the game will not be FreeToPlay, the price should be around 5 dollars and you will be able to earn all the cosmetics with some grinding !


Q: When are you going to release the game ?
A: We don't want to make false hope, and want to take all the necessary time to make the perfect game possible, as a Solo dev it's hard but i will give and try my best


Q: Will killer and survivors going to have abillitys or powers ?
A: Survivors will not have any powers or ability, only items that you can find in-game to help you during the match, Killers will be special, and everyone will have same powers and powers are going to change each seasons (This idea can change and not the final idea)


Q: Are you going to make a BETA test ?
A : yes of course it's planned !


Q: What content should we expect for the release ?
A: I wanna release 3 characters and at least 2 maps.


Q: Can you leak us something about the game that we don't know yet ?
A: Maps are evolutive and can change in the time between each seasons. To make the playable environnement fresh, new and updated !


Q: The 4v1 will be the only gamemode available for ItemDay ?
A: Yes, and no, It will be the main gamemode, but some events will pop-up with another way to play
(8v2, 1V1, Deathmatch etc.. etc..)

Hello everyone!

I've been receiving messages about people being unable to download the game demo and it not being available on Steam. I want to clarify the situation regarding this.

Indeed, the demo version is not available on the Steam platform. It has never been on Steam and should not be available, yet. The Furnish Master demo version is accessible to our Discord members as a beta version for now (yes, a beta version of the demo). The link to our Discord is provided at the end of this announcement.

As for Next Fest, in reality, the game shouldn't even be listed as a participant, but somehow it appears on the lists. I don't know why. It might be a Steam bug. I have already contacted Steam support to clarify the situation.

For those looking for the demo version, it can be downloaded through our Discord channel. However, understanding that this method might be inconvenient, I have provided a download link below. Nevertheless, I would still like to ask you to join our Discord to share your opinions about the game or report any issues.

How to get access to the demo through Discord channel?
Join our Discord, find #role-select channel and click on blue emoji under last message about getting a "@Demo Beta Tester" role.


How to install?
Download an archive, extract it somewhere and launch FurnishMaster file (.exe, .sh, .app depending on platform you want to play).

What features are available in the demo?
Only one sandbox room is available with almost all gameplay features. However there will be more content (objects, paints, stickers) in full game.

What features are not presented in demo, but will be in full game?
Story mode with puzzles, room editor, background and env. lighting change, more content, extended photo mode with free camera, some other features.

Am I able to share the link somewhere?
If you want to invite someone, please, share our Discord invite link so people could join beta testing, discuss the game and help us improve it.

Why itch.io? Does it mean we will have an itch.io version of full game?
Probably, but now it is used to share a beta version of a demo because Steam does not have proper tools for beta testing a demo version.

Am I able to share screenshots and videos I made in this beta version?
You can share screenshots and videos. You can also live stream the demo. But please, make sure you leave a link to a Steam page, this would help the project very much!

I found a bug, what do I do?
If you found a bug in beta version, please, share it in ⁠our Discord by tagging "@Dev Team" or @Flakky. Or just share a bug in Steam Discussions or in Demo Survey.

If I have an idea about the game or demo, where do I share it?

Getting an error about missing component: Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime
You need MS Visual C++ Redist installed in order to play the game. This will be automatically installed if you would play via Steam, but now you need to install it manually.

Hi friends,

as the last poll prompted us to implement conversational AI, we are conducting another poll regarding its future.

If we decide to keep the AI in VR HOT, we will relocate it to a professional service space, ensuring improved performance and a more reliable service.

Furthermore, we are planning to introduce an additional female voice and a male voice.

In order to cover our monthly server costs, we will have to make the AI subscription-based. We don’t know the price yet, but, of course, we will try to make it as affordable as possible.
