What is Turf Wars: A Snail Escape?
This is an action roguelike twin-stick shooter, where the focus is on movement and controlling the battleground using your slime abilities. Stay on your turf at all time while the slimy enemies try to cover you in enemy slime. The full game will include 5 areas with unique enemies, bosses and slime types and is aimed to launch in the second half of 2023.
Why this demo?
I want to hear from more people what they think so I can make it as good as possible. Write a message in the steam forum, or upload a video on youtube of you playing, I will read and watch it all. The main things I want to hear about is:
Did you enjoy the game?
Did you feel it was too easy or difficult, and in that case which areas felt unbalanced?
Did you encounter any nasty bugs (the other kind)?

Another week and another minor update has arrived. This time, the focus lies on improvements to Harvester pathfinding and movement and unit direct control to RTS where the Commander can select a single unit and switch into it, while not leaving the role.
Here's the complete changelog:
Added: Unit Direct Control to RTS*
Added: Player tags for friendly units
Improved: Harvester navigation graphs**
Improved: Wheeled vehicles (inc. Harvester) no longer do many-point turns to turn around when there is room
Fixed: If the player limit was not changed in Server setup, the maximum value was used

*Direct Control - Allows you to control units from the Commander's perspective directly (switch into them) without leaving the role.
**Harvester navigation graph - Improves AI pathfinding for Harvesters where they no longer take strange detours etc.
Effortlessly build new objects of all shapes and sizes with various materials, including wood, brick, metal, and more. From there, you can easily save, spawn, move, and duplicate the fruits of your labor!
Creative mode is a new mode where you can not only tear stuff down but actually build up new stuff.
Another day another patch. Just a quick fix for some minor material rendering issues that were happening when playing as some of the unlockable characters.
