We have continued work on the game and are making good progress on fixing major bugs people are reporting in beta release versions. We do not have a fully comfortable public release for these fixes yet, but are very close to being able to fix a lot of current issues.
Currently a number of players are playing on the "pre-release" branch of the game. Please see the linked post if you're interested in accessing the beta branches, as well as the full patch notes.
The biggest fixes are:
Reduction of NPCs/Players falling through the floor. A lot of this has to do with chunk loading behavior which is being worked on still.
Drastically improved save stability.
Various NPC AI bugs are fixed that used to stop them from acting up. Please note AI fixes are ongoing and they still display a number of strange behaviors.
We strongly recommend only using new saves with beta versions. If you want to help out with these versions, please make sure you write what version you're playing on when reporting issues.
We’re excited to roll out patch 0.223, which comes with important bug fixes and a series of skill balance adjustments to improve your gaming experience.
Bug Fixes:
- AGM tools: We have fixed the issue of AGM tools adding incorrect statistics, such as the amount of resources gathered and experience. - Chapter 2-5: We have fixed the bugs present in Chapter 2-5 to provide a smoother story progression. - Guild Vaults: Guild Vaults are now fixed and should be functioning correctly.
Price Adjustments:
- Skillbooks: We have adjusted the selling price of some skillbooks to ensure a balanced game economy.

Hey gang,
We're super excited to publicly unveil our latest and sweetest creation: High Times.
In a world where you can get high with no consequences, the hardest drug to get over are your exes. In this (anti) dating sim about drugs and donuts, you'll manage a café, serve special donuts that get customers high, and live out the ultimate fantasy — getting closure with your exes!
It's the year 2069 (nice!), and miracles have been made in the name of science. The greatest of them all? Drugs are now totally safe to consume!
Set in the fictional world of San Mazo — which is totally not a rip off of LA — you're a Mood Confectioner (a fancy term for someone who bakes drugs into sweets) who must turn your boss' café, The Hotbox, into the hottest place in town or get fired. That isn’t the end of your problems, though — the exes whom you've ghosted are back in town and they all have a bone to pick with you.
Good luck, heartbreaker!

Among other changes in the upcoming rework of German cities in Euro Truck Simulator 2, you will also be able to set out on a captivating journey through the reimagined city of Kiel. In this blog post, we'll dive into the details of the extensive work of our map designers and show you how they managed to bring the city up to the current standards.
Kiel is a city rich in history and enchanting charm, situated on the shores of the Baltic Sea in northern Germany. With its origins dating back to the 13th century, Kiel has a fascinating past that has shaped its present-day character. Initially a small fishing village, it flourished into a bustling maritime hub renowned for shipbuilding, trade, and naval prowess.
The reworked Kiel has undergone a complete transformation after being rebuilt from the ground up. The surrounding roads and highways have been revamped, along with the layout of the city, which provides a new driving route through a residential area that leads to a bustling shopping zone and the heart of the city. The market zone features a service station and a supermarket depot, catering to all truckers' needs.
As you continue your journey, you will reach the central area of Kiel, where the Gablenzbrücke bridge offers a breathtaking view of Kiel Central Station and the panoramic beauty of the city with a number of landmarks. Just a short distance from the historic district, you can explore the newly designed port area, featuring a shipyard depot with landmark vessels and submarines. We hope the authenticity and charm of the port area will add to the overall experience of discovering Kiel's maritime heritage.
The garage in Kiel has been relocated close to the shore, providing not only a place to stay at a convenient location but also a mesmerizing view of Kiel Central Station and the opposite shore of the city. Additionally, strategically placed depots, including an IKA depot on the outskirts and the Load Unload Plaza in the city center, ensure efficient cargo operations.
The second phase of the rework of the German cities is arriving in the 1.48 update, and we hope you are really eager to get your chance of exploring a number of cities in a new way. To stay in touch with all the latest news regarding the project or the game update itself, leave us a follow on social media (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and you will never miss out on anything important.

The 90s were a golden age for PC strategy games. It is no wonder that both big tactical games from that era - XCOM and Jagged Alliance – featured not only excellent tactical combat but also a deep strategic element. For me this blend is one of the key ingredients for their success and my own fond memories of spending countless hours with them.
