As a solo developer, the journey of creating this game has been both challenging and exciting. I've poured my heart and soul into this project and am thrilled to share the progress I've made over the past month:


I've added a new feature that allows the walls and roofs of buildings to dissolve, making it easier for you to strategize your next move from a better vantage point, but most importantly, it lets you be able to better play the game without walls interfering with your view!

I've been working on ways to make your team of thieves more dynamic and have enabled them to interact with NPCs and each other.

To make the game more accessible, I've made changes to the user interface. Now you'll be able to use commands instead of relying on keyboard shortcuts.

To keep the gameplay engaging, I've added randomized generation. This means each heist you undertake will present a unique challenge.

I've also been working on revamping the tutorial to help newcomers get the hang of the game mechanics more efficiently.

Your support and feedback have been incredibly valuable. Remember, Plunder Masters is still in development, so your early interest and suggestions can really shape the future of the game.

If you haven't done so already, consider adding Plunder Masters to your Steam wishlist to stay updated on future developments, this would also help me A LOT!

Bigger update today - mostly some quality of life changes and one massive rework to the game tutorial. More bugfixes and balance changes on my plate next

Changes:
-Added new button to buy AND use certain Tarot cards and planet cards directly from the shop
-Added tooltip for all conversion tarot cards to show the enhancement effect
-Brand new tutorial in game
-Nerfed Stone Joker to +10 chips from +50
-Buffed Glass cards, now +5 mult instead of +2

Bugfixes:
-Fixed bug where having 16 enhanced cards was not unlocking joker
-Fixed bug where playing all your heart cards was not unlocking joker
-Fixed bug where discovering 25 blinds was not unlocking vouchers

First of all, we would like to apologize to our long-awaiting players. The game release, initially scheduled for the first half of 2023, has been delayed once again. We will explain the reasons for the delay and confirm the final launch date in the following paragraphs.
More importantly, we try to be more transparent and accurate in informing players about our plans leading up to the game's release.

Release Date

The final release date is set for Sept 20, 2023 (4 AM PST). Initial platforms are STEAM and XBOX.

Reasons for Delay

By the end of 2022, we had finished the development of in-game features and entered the testing and bug-fixing phase. Since this is our first game project, we wrongly estimated the time needed for bug fixes.
Additionally, some necessary approval processes also exceeded our expected timeline. This was entirely due to our overly optimistic estimates and lack of experience, for which we deeply apologize.

Pre-release Plans

Firstly, the game needs to obtain final approvals from partner platforms and relevant regional authorities. Without these approvals, we will not be able to set up servers and release the game in certain regions.
Secondly, we need to conduct stress tests on our servers. Before the final launch, the game will undergo at least two full-interface server stress tests to minimize potential server issues.

Game Prices

Standard Edition: 20 USD
Deluxe Edition: 30 USD
Both the Standard and Deluxe Editions include all game maps, with the Deluxe Edition featuring exclusive character outfits and in-game currency. We will disclose the content of Deluxe Edition in future Dev Logs.

In-game Currency

In-game currency can be earned by playing or leveling up and is used to unlock characters or character outfits.
Different character outfits will not have any stats or functional differences.

Gifts for Demo Players

All Steam players who participated in the Demo in October 2020 will receive 10 "Surprise Egg" vouchers in the game. Surprise Eggs contain various in-game characters, character outfits, avatar frames, and others.
