This update is all about adding content for the Script Create system. There are 40 new Scene Cards and 8 new Season Themes, with various new card and theme effects and synergies!




Added 40 new Scene Cards. The new card sets these belong to are:

• Visual Comedy
  
• Group Dynamics
  
• Farce
  
• Team Action
  
• Dramatic Events
  
• Adventure
  
• Chain of Command
  
• Extreme Conditions

Added 8 new Season Themes that can be unlocked by completing research on the new card sets. These are:

• Sacrifice - Every card played adds one extra DRAMA point.
  
• Betrayal - After each episode is completed you have a 50% chance to earn one Conflict token for free.
  
• Discovery - Every card played adds one extra VISUALS point.
  
• Found Family - All cooldowns of cards played in episodes are reduced by 1 (does not stack).
  
• Corruption - 50% chance to increase show popularity by 1 if DRAMA is the highest script score.
  
• Leadership - Every card played which has three types of points has a 50% chance to increase show popularity by 1.
  
• Fish-Out-Of-Water - After each episode is completed you have a 50% chance to earn one Personal token for free.
  
• Faith - 50% chance to increase show popularity by 1 if CHARACTER is the highest script score.

Also adjusted the bonuses and costs for five other existing Season Themes, removing some of the least interesting bonuses.


Tokens earned from cards are now only calculated once the script is completed (so can't be spent on the same script they are earned in).


The Character Select part of the Script Create flow now shows the updated, final script scores rather than those defined by the previous screen (will now show updates from character perks and cards that give bonuses based on number of characters).

Hello again! Thank you for playing ENDLESS MONDAY: DREAMS AND DEADLINES! Can you believe it's already been a month since the game launched? I've really been so happy with how many of you have played and enjoyed the game. Thank you thank you!!


If you've been waiting for the Mac release to play ENDLESS MONDAY: DREAMS AND DEADLINES, well I have good news for you! It's now available! On Mac! Why not install it on your work laptop and go on an adventure on the company dime? (Hint: Press the T key while in-game if your boss is nearby). This release also comes with a bunch of other smaller changes and features, so check out the patch notes for 1.0.7 if you're interested in that.

This update involved some under the hood changes for future updates, so please let me know if you run into any weird issues you weren't seeing before.

JP Localization is well under way! I've also made a lot of code changes under the hood to allow for translations to other languages, so that should be coming soon.

Hey Everybody! Klei Fest is Coming June 15th!

Summer is on its way and that means so is Klei Fest. During Klei Fest, we will have a burst of content, items, events, sales, and more interesting things happening for all things Klei!

During last year's Klei Fest we announced Rotwood, our 1-4 player hack-and-slash dungeon crawler. For this year we're going to be opening up a single-player combat focus test so you can check it out for yourself!

In this single-player combat focus test you will try out four different weapon types and fight through two dungeons, each populated with a unique set of Rots and a large Boss Rot at the end. As you delve into the ever-changing Rotwood, you'll also meet a handful of villagers who will support you by using the materials you've gathered to craft and upgrade sets of armor & weapons (and maybe even cook you the occasional delicious meal!)

While you will get a small glimpse of our weapon, armor, and other work-in-progress systems, this playtest is entirely focused on combat. So sign up now so you can join us next week and let us know what you think!
