Hello Adventurers!

In this update we focused mainly on polishing the game, to the point that we even added polish language support!
(pun intended)
Two new dungeons for you to try out - Volcano and Time Lab - both are pretty hard.

We rebalanced some cards to ensure there will be no easy "infinity combo" scenarios.

Currently we are working on automatic AI-powered localization feature, which will enable us to translate the game to lots of different languages.
We do it because of two reasons: it's cheaper & working with AI is fun!
So, this first version of the translation is a prototype - we will make it better in next versions!

We could translate the game to polish language by ourselves without much of an issue, but since this is our native language, it is easier for us to spot where AI made a mistake, so we can reiterate on the approach. Once polish language is translated to the point we are happy with, it should work for other languages too, by leveraging the ability of LLM.

Changelog 0.26:
UX:
  • Edge scrolling temporarily disabled (will be reintroduced in 0.27 once we make it work better, with an option to turn it off).
  • Longer card burn animation, to ensure everyone are able to read the card before it is burnt.
  • Added tooltips for Bestiary and Grimoire buttons in character creation.
  • Added “play in background” option (can be disabled in settings).
  • Deck & discard are now viewable when selecting items/cards.
  • “Hide” always hides all popups (e.g: in an event).

  • Fast Breathing:
    - added "After 1 turn"
    - increased stamina gain from 3 to 5

  • Demonic Sacrifice:

Accessibility:
  • Polish language introduced, translation is not final yet (more languages will come with next patches).

Bugfixes:
  1. Walls discovered by Goblin Leader no longer can fail Labyrinth unlock.
  2. Fixed cards scrolling in character selection - that was supposed to happen on hover over given race/class, not on cards hover.
  3. Resolution should no longer affect animations speed.
  4. Game should no longer freeze during loading.
  5. Card animations no longer bug out when discarded at max zoom.
  6. Mimics no longer wander while mimicking a chest.

Controller Configurator - a new feature of the main menu, once a controller is connected, you will be prompted to hold any button for 5 seconds. After that, an automated configurator will walk you through all the inputs.

Player reporting:
  • Players can now be reported by opening the Escape Menu while in a match.

Crafting:
  • Crafting Components sell prices adjusted from 75 credits to 55 credits.

  • Hunters added to all Security Levels expect Low Security - “Kuiper Belt”
  • Hunters are player-like bots that hunt down other players.
  • They are extremely deadly, be careful!
  • Adjusted Cybrid health scaling.
  • Barrels can now awaken dormant bots.
  • Ambush bots are now hidden if revealed on the Radar while in the ambush state.
  • Scaled down the size of the elite switchblade bot slightly.

Map Generation:
  • Ceiling added to the Hydroponics room.
  • Added some variations to the Military Ship.
  • Overhauled how forced features are spawned.

  • Fixed issue where players could use a barrel to get up to the ceiling.

Known Issues:
  • Known RHI crash! Still investigating.
  • Known issue where sometimes cosmetic legs or feet won’t show on lobby mesh when first launching
  • Known inconsistency with extracted items staying in the backpack or going into the stash.
  • Known issue where Masteries will sometimes stack. Still investigating.
  • Player level in the lobby may display as 1 after returning from a match. This is fixed by switching tabs and returning.

The preview build for the 0.10.1 patch is now available on the beta branch. This was a bit tedious, but I can now easily localize the game's text into new languages. I'm using google translate so I expect to be less accurate, but it's better than nothing.

Localization Support
  • Added translation support for Spanish. Note: I used google translate, so please message me if something is horribly translated and I can easily change it.
  • Reworked all the text in the game to support language translation which also resulted in changing some of the English translations as well
  • Added a language selection picklist that will appear the first time you load the game.
  • Will now try and default the language to the language set on your OS, if that language is not supported it will default to English.
  • Added language selection to the setting screen

Other
  • Updated the Ace of Spades relic so it now removes the act limit to upgrades.
    • Previously, the relic extended the threshold 1 act, but this felt confusing.
    • The new relic feels a bit cleaner, but I might still added another attribute increase it's power a bit more
  • Fixed a bug where clicking a button to move past the "Photosensitivity Warning" screen would also press the "Play" button on the menu screen.
  • Adjusted the end game screen so it now properly reflect the bonus XP you get from the run settings, previously it was not considering the gambit level for the bonus XP
  • Adjusted the Stats & Info screens so the stat values will now be justified to the right. This makes the stats a bit easier to read.
  • Moved the pause screen build to be aligned to the buttons
  • Fixed some typos
