The Hopebringer - VR Dev
  • Added a new Protection (Cleric) skill: Stone Skin. This is a PBAoE which will give a temporary defense boost to nearby allies. The defensive boost will increase based on skill rank in Stone Skin, with a smaller bonus for each rank in Protection. And the radius will also increase for each rank of Protection you have trained.
  • Added new status effects to leg slice, vulnerable, and off balance, to make it easier to denote when an opening is available, or a debuff is active.
  • Locked Gates now display a locked symbol when they are locked, to make it easier to tell that it can be opened elsewhere.
  • Grounding improvements in the Retrieve the Artifact scenario.

In double BOSS difficulty, it is impossible to beat only one BOSS.
The purchase price of the "Collector" class has been changed to 0 and the ability to acquire gold has been increased.
The "Maid" profession's health boost has been changed to a lucky boost.
The "Harvester" profession has increased its pick range to 36% and gold gain to 6%.

Fixed Issues
・When under the Blood Contract effect gained from Iphi's skills or abilities, allies can improperly cover for all-ally attacks even when under the effect of certain enemy skills that should prevent it.
 *The same issue was discovered to affect Soira Another Style (Aristocrat)'s skill "Noblesse Oblige" and Heena Another Style (Jorurihime)'s skill "Nioh Stance." The issue has also been corrected for these characters.

Cease To Breathe - Sam Thul
Well Met Internet Travelers!

I've been incredibly busy getting the game done and wanted to share the current state of Cease to Breathe with everyone. As of right now:
  • Cease to Breathe has risen to well over 500 fully interactive objects now, across 20 different rooms.
  • Almost all sounds have been recorded and implemented into the game! I have a few more samples I'd like to get in there but, overall, I'm quite happy with the outcome.
  • Scene polishing, for the most part is done, and any more graphical modifications will only occur if I have some extra time between now and release.
  • Musical tracks are underway and I launched the first official trailer yesterday! If you haven't seen it yet, give it a view - I think it turned out pretty cool.

Speaking of the release, we have an official date now of July 3rd, 2023! It's a short amount of time to finish up the remaining tasks that need to be completed, but I'll get 'er done! Those tasks include:
  • More end-game content! I am actually working on completing this tonight/tomorrow and, since it doesn't require any graphical elements and only code, it shouldn't take very long.
  • The rest of the musical tracks and sound samples (see above).
  • More talk interactions. Originally I had planned on a full dictionary of possible responses, but the scale of such an undertaking will undoubtedly force me to reduce this feature to select key phrases and responses, with a little bit of randomness intersparsed throughout.
  • BUGTESTING!

Most important of all, there will be no Early Access! Since this is an adventure game, I feel it would be ruined if I put out a incomplete product. I am intending to have the game 100% complete, so, aside from the sporadic bug someone out there will undoubtedly find (lol), you will be purchasing a completely finished game here. Besides bug fixes, there will be no additional content as I have some ideas already about my next project. Whether there is a Cease to Breathe 2 down the road is still up in the air. I guess it depends on how much you all like this one!
