Esperia ~ Uprising of the Scarlet Witch ~ - Elriandir
Hello!
This update main purpose is changing map sizes in preparation for the next main update, here are the main changes : -The 'size' of all maps has been changed, however, the game area itself didn't, which means you probably won't notice the difference, except on very big maps that now have 'black bars' on their left and right, too. The reason for this change is because all that empty space on each side of most maps was unused. Now, the black parts on each side will welcome the terrain description, as well as part of the menu and objective screen, freeing the view of the current map. -None of these changes apply to maps already loaded. Basically, if you saved *during* a map, that map won't be changed and you still have the useless black bars that can't welcome any UI (this is linked to the 'important' note below). -While I was at it, I changed Ch3 and 4 maps a bit. The game area itself didn't change much, so it's played almost the exact same but there was a lot of unused space in both of them. I will update the demo later this week to match these changes. I also recolored the red carpets in several chapters
IMPORTANT - There will be a displaying issue on your old saves if you saved during a map or in the "preparatory" screen. I couldn't fix that (yet). Don't panic, once you load everything is normal and it will disappear if you just save again. It's just that the save system kept the previous coordinates and tries to apply them to the 'new' map. So you will see the usual red and blue dots in weird positions, but nothing has changed on your save, since it will either load the 'old' map with old coordinates (saved at turn X) or in case of a save in the preparatory screen, load the new map during the opening event.
Other fixes: -Minor fixes in script in several parts of the game. -Astrid and Sara relationship also triggered the Elphin-Astrid relation bonus (on Elphin's side). -A chest wasn't marked as open in Close Bonds II, even after being opened -Helen's info was wrongly displayed in Extra even if the player hadn't met her.
The summon item can be crafted by combining one Mysterious energy core and one Storm essence, and is craftable by the Engineer.
New accessories
Two accessories can be crafted from materials that drop from the new boss:
Enchanted hourglass - Reduces the cooldown of your ultimate abilities by 35%
Arcane feather - Allows you to quadruple-jump while in the air
Minor fixes
Fixed a crash caused by selecting another ability while casting Annihilation ray
Slightly reduced the effectiveness of accessories that speed up mana regen, because the gameplay starts to feel clunky and less satisfying when mana regen becomes too fast
What's next?
The game currently lacks content in areas not related to boss fights: exploration, invasion events, variety of items, etc. So the next few months will be spent on ironing out Act 1 and adding more "casual" content to the game.
Once the amount of content in Act 1 feels satisfactory, I'll be able to move onto Act 2 with new biomes and more boss fights.
Hello fellow Elders! It is time for a new update on the development of the game.
But first! These last months have been quite hectic as I became a father! I am so happy! :)
So, in-between one diaper and the next, what have I been up to regarding dotAGE? Let's find out!
An Apocalyptic Story I finished adding the game's story (oh yeah, there is also some narrative in this game!). I'm happy to finally put an end to this story. I hope you will like it (if you can survive the Apocalypse!)
New Connection Mechanic While working on the balance of the game, I noticed a few issues with the current village layouts, which led me to add a new mechanic that requires you to connect some buildings together using pavements. This creates very nice villages!
New Resources and buildings I just can't seem to keep myself from adding some content (I swear they were needed for balance purposes!) ;P
New elders! As the game's balance gets finished up, I started work on additional Elders you can play! I am not spoiling anything at the time, but know that each elder comes with different maps and with their own special traits, such as having unique buildings, increasing the chance for specific events, or rewarding specific behaviors. The goal is to make each elder's village pretty different. I can't wait to show them all!
Balancing & Bugfixing Balancing and testing is going smoothly, and I am testing also the different difficulties. The game is in a really nice state now, and I can't wait to announce a release date as soon as I finish working on the balancing!
The Ways of Uron is now available for playtesting.
The player starts with the Otukai Staff and can collect up to 7 more items to use in 'The Ways of Uron's top-down 2D action combat.
This is a tech demo. So, only very minimalistic story elements are included. The playtester can wander in any direction and Ungaloo (the first zone of 5 planned) will be procedurally generated before you.
Feedback is very important for us at this stage - Issues can be discussed on the forums and we will maintain a list of known bugs.

Last week we introduced Game DirectorJohn Mikula, and Executive ProducerMatt Raithel. Together, John and Matt dig into a bit of the history of Mr. Run and Jump and give a preview of the first level of Violet World. Did Matt break his record time on Violet World 1-1?! Watch the archive to find out!
Speaking of violet world, the worlds in Mr. Run and Jump are based on the colors of the rainbow. The player starts in the violet world and works their way up to red and beyond. Violet world will introduce the player to the core mechanics and various moves needed to get through each stage. As the player moves through the colors of the rainbow more difficult challenges and enemies must be met!
Survive Violet World and more difficult and colorful challenges await!
