We also plan to have a closed Beta test prior to the release of the smartphone version, to gather more feedback from the players. We'd be grateful if many players can join this test.

We have implemented a patch that addresses some other issues.
The patch note details can be found below:

- Bugfix: anti-aliasing setting was not applied when using 'Windowed Borderless' display mode.
- Bugfix: could not access the button settings menu when playing with keyboard only.
- Bugfix: possible case of backward-typing in chat boxes caused by bad controllers or bloated systems.
- Bugfix: 'Key to the Future is in the Past' achievement could not be unlocked if the player had already spectated 20 or more battles. It should unlock correctly after the next spectate session.
- Bugfix: two very sporadic crash occurrences.

We're seeing a few of the same questions come up regularly on our update posts, so we just wanted to do another quick FAQ to answer them.

When is the game releasing?

It's currently scheduled for an Early Access release in 2024. We'll reveal more infomation on specific timing soon. We have a roadmap we're pretty confident we can hit, but we want to make sure we're tracking correctly before we announce anything.

What does Early Access mean?

You can read a little bit more about Early Access on Steam here.

If I buy the game when it's released in Early Access, will I have to pay for the full version?

Nope. If you purchase the game in Early Access, you won't have to pay anything more for the full release when it comes out. We value you committing to our game early, so you'll be able to download that version as an update without paying any additional costs.

Does Early Access mean I have to put up with it being buggy or broken?

Not at all. Our intention with releasing our game in Early Access is not to release something unfinished, unpolished or unplayable. The intention is an enjoyable, high-quality gameplay experience that we can then add more content to in response to player feedback. No developer on Earth can promise a game entirely without bugs (touch wood!) but all our games go through established processes for quality assurance and playtesting before reaching you, and we have an experienced development team who are well versed in creating fixes, along with a solid community team who'll be monitoring all player feedback.

Will there be a demo before release?

A demo is something we're actively considering. More on that soon.

Will there be a multiplayer version?

Not for now. This is a single-player game where you're in charge of a group of survivors, and that's the experience we're focused on delivering.

Will it be available for console or mobile?

We're focusing on getting the PC version right for now. We're not ruling out a console or mobile version in the future but that's not our team's focus currently. Getting this PC version right is our priority.

This hotfix includes some optimisation for later-game saves where players have many crops and creatures on their farms. If you still face any noticeable FPS drops, do let us know and drop us your save file so we can look into it. Thank you!

- Fixed: Unable to use Blueberries and other crop-berries to craft Berry Bait
- Fixed "ghost" dropped item (related to Preservers) that causes "Inventory Full" notifications.
- Fixed energy bar overlapping with bag icon, by giving the bar a maximum display length (i.e. any furthur increase in base energy will not translate to a visual increase).
- Fixed creature inventory showing in cutscenes
- Fixed camera view for Hangout: Waterfall Activity for 2496x1664 resolutions.
- Fixed a collision error for a snowmound in the garden area.

Optimisation
- Some code optimisation (for crops & tamed creatures), with noticeable improvements on some later-game saves.

Controller fixes
- Fixed Fish Map in Sesame's Hut where Fishing Locations were not updating when using LS to navigate.
- Fixed being able to open animal info UI and chest simultaneously.
- Fixed item overlap with research tooltip (when hovering over magnifying glass)
