Metal Waltz: Anime tank girls - WHAT' S UP GAME LABS
Dear Commanders
We plan to perform a patch update on the server at 11:00(UTC+8) on May 26. The estimated update time is 8 hours.

The contents of the update are as following:
I. New metal maidens:
1. T14 Heavy Tank, obtainable through the ‘Glutton on a Palm’ event.
2. FV101 Scorpion, obtainable through the following methods:
- Very low chance to obtain from feeding Epsilon in ‘Glutton on a Palm’.
- Exchange for ‘Crystal Shells’.
3. M51 Super Sherman, obtainable through R&D (this metal maiden has a special R&D method which uses ‘Origin Stones’ obtained from Petrov Warrant’s rewards).

II. Glutton on a Palm event
Portia has asked Commander to collect various equipment (normal S1 and S2, advanced S1, as well as N2 to N4 blueprints) and certain collectibles for feeding to Epsilon in order to gain a deeper understanding of how Farers’ bodies work and to refine her existing databases.
Epsilon will give different ratings to the items you feed her, and you will receive corresponding rewards.
After each feeding, Epsilon’s satisfaction level will increase depending on how much she liked the item she ate.
Once the satisfaction level has hit a certain threshold, you can collect the first reward for this event.
This time, the reward is a metal maiden: the T14 Heavy Tank.
Epsilon’s maximum satisfaction will remain at 1,000, but she will no longer suffer from indigestion. We hope this change will significantly alleviate the difficulty of the event.
All the changes made to the event are as follows:
1. Removed the indigestion system so Epsilon can be fed continuously.
2. Added an auto-feeding system, which allows Epsilon to be fed 50 times in one go. You can still use this system even if the number of equipment or collectibles being used for feeding is lower than 50, the auto-feeding will continue until the item runs out.
3. When feeding, there is a chance to obtain ‘Crystal Shells’. The probability and number of items obtained depend on the item that’s being used.
4. If Epsilon is fed with ‘Architecture Blueprints’, aside from getting high satisfaction, you will also be guaranteed to obtain a single piece of ‘Incomplete Intelligence’. However, you will not get any other items.
Tap on the Crystal Shells in the Depot to open the Exchange Shop, which contains the following:
1. Limited edition badges and wallpapers from previous events
2. Limited edition resource packs
3. A metal maiden: FV101 Scorpion
FV101 Scorpion can be obtained with a very low chance directly from feeding Epsilon.
Crystal Shells can be bought for vouchers in the event store.
Please note that we recommend newbie commanders to refrain from feeding too much equipment to Epsilon as that might have an adverse effect on their progression. If you are completely sure that you need a large number of ‘Crystal Shells’, exchanging with vouchers bought for Gold may be a better method. The most efficient way of gaining Gold is the purchase of the M-Supply.

III. Intelligence Deciphering Event
During the event, a special blasting pool will be available for the Intelligence Deciphering event.
The special Intelligence Deciphering blasting pool has a higher chance to drop advanced equipment.
Please note that this Intelligence Deciphering event does not have a specific reward like it used to, and is now simply a way to efficiently obtain advanced equipment.
The Intelligence Deciphering blasting pool uses ‘Incomplete Intelligence’, which can be obtained through the following methods:
1. Guaranteed obtaining when feeding Epsilon with ‘Architecture Blueprints’ in the Glutton on a Palm event.
2. The exchange for ‘Club Certificate’ in the event store.
3. The exchange for ‘Tanghulu’ in the event store, for a limited number of times.
4. The exchange for ‘Crystal Shell’ in the event store, for a limited number of times.
5. The exchange for ‘G-SiSe’ in the event store, for a limited number of times.
6. Completing a quest by passing Story Vol.8 ‘Expedition’.

IV. Microtransaction events

During the event period, purchasing gold will grant ‘Confidential Files’ and ‘Golden Corals’.
Purchasing a Small Bag of Gold grants 6 ‘Confidential Files’ and 1 ‘Golden Coral’.

Purchasing a Small Box of Gold grants 32 ‘Confidential Files’ and 5 ‘Golden Corals’.
Purchasing a Big Box of Gold grants 64 ‘Confidential Files’ and 10 ‘Golden Corals’.
In the Depot, tap on the ‘Confidential Files’ or the ‘Gold Corals’ to exchange them for desired materials in the corresponding shops.
Golden Corals can be exchanged for most wallpapers and badges from previous events.

2. Club Vouchers from purchasing Gold
During the event, purchasing gold will grant you a certain number of ‘Club Vouchers’ and ‘Engineering Fairies’.
Purchasing a Small Bag of Gold grants 690 ‘Club Vouchers’ and 383 ‘Engineering Fairies’.

Farlight 84 - Farlight 84
Dear Survivors,
We will update Farlight 84 Steam Version today between UTC 8:00-11:00.
During this time, if you encounter a popup while playing the game, which shows 'Update failed. Restart download? (3_404)', please exit the game and update Farlight 84 in the Steam interface. Once the update is successfully installed, you will be able to enjoy gameplay.

[What's new]
This update includes the following improvements and fixes:

▌Steam Version
  1. Added custom keybinding function.
  2. Added a continuous sprinting feature.
  3. Added Payment System.

▌About Solo/Duo Match
In this update, we will add the option for Duo Matches in Battle Royale mode.
Currently, we won't open up Solo Matches for the following reasons:
  1. The number of players online at the same time is not sufficient to support Solo Matches. Enabling Solo Matches would greatly divide the player base and result in longer matching time for all modes.
  2. Some of the hero skills and game mechanics are closely tied to team cooperation (such as Ceanna's ultimate skill and Revive system). Blindly enabling Solo Matches might disrupt the intended game pace and cause a negative gaming experience. Therefore, we would like to take more time to adjust these mechanics.
  3. Meanwhile, we will also dedicate efforts to updating the in-game social tools. With the help of these tools, we hope players can more conveniently find friends and teammates online, and enjoy multiplayer matches together.

▌Battle Royale Mode
  1. Players can now carry 1 more Med Kit. Each Med Kit now provides more healing and takes longer to use.
  2. Each Shield XP Module now provides 5 Shield XP instead of 3.
  3. Upgrading Shields from Lvl 4 to Lvl 5 now requires less Shield XP.

▌Map Optimization
  1. Adjusted the brightness of Sunset City and optimized some areas with overly dark shadows.

▌System Adjustments
  1. Added the Redeem system, where players can use Surprise coins obtained from Legend Pack to redeem desired items.
  2. Increased the clan size to 8 players, and we plan to gradually increase the clan size in the future.
  3. Added new visual effects when players are opening 10 consecutive Elite Packs or Legend Packs.
  4. Added new Flags and Clan Banners.

▌Tournaments
  1. Improved server performance. Players now should experience fewer latency issues in tournaments.
  2. Adjusted the reward distribution rules for tournaments. Now clan leaders can decide how to allocate diamond rewards.

▌Balance Adjustments
In this update, we plan to adjust the balance of heroes, weapons, and vehicles, including the following details:
  • Heroes:
  1. Reduced the damage of Maggie and Beau's tactical skills.
  2. Increased the damage of Captain's ultimate skill.
  3. Enhanced the ultimate skill of Watchman. Increased throwing distance, HP, and damage of the turret. Reduced its deployment time.
  4. Lucinda's tactical skill will no longer cause damage to friendly units.
  5. Reduced the duration of Phantom's tactical skill.
  6. Increased the throwing speed of Sunil and Yong's tactical skill, and reduced the generation time of Springboard.
  • Weapons:
  1. Slightly increased the rate of fire of the Hound, and increased its damage.
  2. Greatly increased the rate of fire of the Fanatic, and slightly reduced its damage.
  3. Increased the damage of Stellar Wind and Defender.
  4. Increased the damage of the Invader.
  • Vehicles:
  1. Reduced the damage of Air Beast.
  2. Improved the handling of hover vehicles.
  3. Optimized the crosshair effects of Mobile Turret.
  4. Increased the speed of some vehicles.

▌Other Adjustments
  1. Added a new R Skin of Beau.
  2. Optimized the headshot sound effects of weapons to make them more distinct.
  3. Adjusted the size of the crosshair for all weapons to accommodate iPads.
  4. Fixed the issue where the VSS scope was not centered on the screen after aiming.
  5. Fixed the issue where the crosshair texture of equipped weapon skins appeared abnormal when aiming at enemies.
  6. Continued optimization of the anti-cheat system.
  7. Fixed some known bugs.

Best regards,
The Farlight 84 Team

WARNO - [EUG] Gal Marcel Bigeard
    Hello commander!

We hope you are ready for some single-player WARNO fun! Today marks the day of the new milestone BERTHIER, bringing you a new duo of Operations!

In today’s update, we present you two new, fully voiced, and scripted single-player Operations we already highlighted before: Backhand Blow and The Kitzingen Ruse.

Before continuing, a bit about the milestone’s historical namesake: Louis-Alexandre Berthier.

    Introducing BERTHIER

We always name our milestones after important French military commanders (chiefly high-ranking generals and marshals from the Napoleonic Wars). This one is no exception: Louis-Alexandre Berthier was born in 1753 in a military family. Although not noble, his father was a lieutenant colonel in the artillery, a branch where commoners could make a career in the royal army.

Trained as an engineer officer, he joined the army at 17 and took part in the American War of Independence with Rochambeau’s staff. Already a colonel by 1789, he held staff positions during the early Revolutionary Wars until appointed in 1796 as chief of staff of the Armée d’Italie, commanded by a young general Bonaparte. The two got along so well that from that day, Berthier would not leave Napoléon’s side.

An adept organizer but weak commander

His power of work, quick comprehension of Napoléon’s intentions, and organizational skills made him the Emperor’s most valued assistant and a key cog in the Grande Armée. While Napoléon outlined his plan on a map in a few (very Corsican-accented!) sentences, Berthier would take brief notes, which he would immediately transform into dozens of marching orders, instructions, logistic movements, …

But Berthier was a pure “desk officer,” having barely ever commanded men on the field, only staff officers. When left to his own devices in Bavaria in 1809, he didn’t show any initiative, only implementing Napoléon’s outdated instructions. By chance, the able Marshal Davout was present, who decided not to obey Berthier’s obsolete orders and take matters into his own hands.

    Downfall in Russia

In 1812, during the retreat from Russia, Napoléon left the disintegrating Grande Armée to return to Paris and raise a new one. Before leaving, he appointed Berthier as the commander-in-chief. It was a terrible choice, for Berthier fell to his knees, begging and crying for Napoléon not to leave him behind … in front of the other marshals, who lost any respect they may still have had for the “pen marshal.” Napoléon stuck to his decision, but soon after he was gone, Berthier declared himself sick and left the army too, as did Murat, the next in line! Only Napoléon’s adopted son, Prince Eugène de Beauharnais, and Marshal Davout (again) remained firmly at their post and saved what they could from the Grande Armée of 1812.

Berthier was the antithesis of most other marshals: a cultivated and refined man of a weak personality and quick to break under pressure, but with immense organizational skills. Loyal to the end, Berthier took his own life in 1815 when Napoléon returned from exile in Elba and recalled him. Torn between his loyalty to his old master and his oath to the new king, he jumped out of a window to his death.

A testimony to this unsung but key man behind the scene: after his death Napoléon appointed another Marshal, Soult, as his replacement as chief of staff for the 1815 campaign. From the start, the Grande Armée’s movements were plagued with missing marching orders, delays, miscommunications and badly written orders, leading many historians to state that Berthier’s absence at his master’s side may have played a major role in the ultimate defeat at Waterloo less than a week later.

    The details of BERTHIER’s Operations

So, what can you expect with this milestone?

    The Kitzingen Ruse
In this exciting operation, you take command of the VDV’s 900th Air Assault Battalion, part of the Soviet 8th Guards Army, in a surprise strike against the city of Würzburg in one of the very first actions of the war. Your mission will be to establish a bridgehead on the river Main and hold it against a mass of counter-attacking NATO forces, chiefly West German but also American, as you wait for reinforcements.

The daring VDV-led surprise attack near Würzburg during the opening stages of World War III can be read about in this this detailed DevBlog.

    Backhand Blow
An operation that focuses on a NATO counter-offensive north of Hanau aimed at breaking the mass of Soviet armor threatening Frankfurt. This mission will see the 3rd Armored Division perform a lightning strike, with lots of tanks, against the Soviets.

The NATO tank-heavy counter-strike Backhand Blow mission can be checked out in detail in this dedicated DevBlog here.
