We are happy to announce the release date for the High Tech Update. The update will go live on the 31st of May! The update will contain the following features:
Special weapons! The science civilization will get an interplanetary laser and the military civilization will get an interplanetary rocket!
Three new spaceships ("Large cargo spaceship", "Guardian", "Battle cruiser")
Gas planets, from which you can collect gases from
Tier 4 residents - Visionaries and Weapon Engineers will be available as upgrades for Researchers and Military Technicians
32 new items to produce
51 new buildings to build
40 new technologies to research

We've made it to our fifth Devblog entry! We owe it all to you guys.
The option to customize your dummies is finally live! This has been one of the most requested features we've had for quite a while now; if you had been paying attention, you'll know that we had an option in our main menu for that but there wasn't anything you could do inside.
Now, thanks to the efforts of our code magician, Jilmer, we have fully customizable body parts for your dummies. The options currently live in the game are limited though, but we will be adding them in the next few days. You will be able to get new parts for your dummies in an in-game shop we will include in one of our next minor updates.
On to the next point!
The tutorial is almost fully finished! You can play the current version the first time you open the game which has 1 map at the moment, we're almost ready with the development of the 2nd map.
Besides this, we've also added a lot of bug fixes and optimization features that were due for a long time now!

Today we're finally opening our playtest to everyone! This is a great opportunity to get an early look at the game and provide us with feedback. We're starting with alpha 0.57, which is a very early build of the game containing the core combat mechanics, full gamepad (and Steam Deck!) support, and the beginnings of the 'Tarot card' system. There is currently no tutorial/intro room (we're working on it), so you can find the controls in the settings menu for now.
As it's an early build, you'll run into incomplete features and (most likely) bugs. Please feel free to let us know if you find them. The purpose of the playtest is to make the game as fun as possible, so we'd also love to hear suggestions for future content, and any improvements to systems already in place.
We'll be rapidly updating the playtest as we work on new stuff, so please keep coming back to test new updates. We can't wait to hear what everyone thinks!

Helper Dolls:
[/h3] Helper dolls will spawn under certain conditions (unless playing on insane) and will aid you in your heist!
The Voodoo Doll: When a burglar dies, a voodoo doll containing their soul will spawn somewhere on the map. If a living player interacts with this doll, it will revive that player (one per person).
The Item Finder: This doll will spawn at the start of every heist, but should be saved for desperate times. Interact with this doll and it will -try its best- to lead you to a random, unfound item.
The Breaker Doll: This doll will only appear during power outages (but in the same location each round). If you ever find yourself cornered and far away from the breaker, look for this glowing doll and he will take care of it for you!

FIXED - Could not place bed on carpets/rugs. FIXED - Overlapping the top of a ladder when on stairs/ramps etc would cause the player to snap to the ladder. I now added a check if the player is standing on something before attaching the player to the ladder.
CHANGE - Can now build ladders on curved foundations and ceilings CHANGE - Biofuel max stack changed from 5 to 100. CHANGE - Can snap ladder to bottom of other ladders. CHANGE - Removed Bulk recipes tab from the itempedia.
ADDED - Workbenches and inventory crafting UIs now have a Quantity input field and a Craft Maximum button. ADDED - Curved ceiling ladders access parts. ADDED - Wooden Half Ladder.
