Fixed a bug where graphics were not displayed correctly in certain endings. We have also fixed the presentation of certain endings. There is no "it was all a dream" in this game!

Over the past few months we are working on two major updates - Wild Roads and a complete physics overhaul of the game - Trail Out v2.0. Wild Roads adds sun, beach and jungle to the game with new cars, and new physics will bring the feeling of real cars to the game. And that's not all.

Welcome to the very first patch notes for Hamster Scramble! Time went frighteningly fast, but only because we had been very busy. We wanted to take the opportunity to share some progress with you all before our memories blur. We will try to keep up with monthly development logs, as it’s a good way to track our progress and keep you all in the loop.
This update has bug fixes, mechanics, visuals, and other changes we have been working on.
We know we’ve been a bit quiet about sharing our progress lately, but it’s only because we’ve been working towards finalizing the game.

Without any further ado, let’s jump in.
Mechanic Changes
Added super attacks to battles against certain characters in the story.
Players can now drop held hamsters by holding the attack button.
Adjusted the layout of the Airship stage to make traversal easier.
Visual Changes
New assets for Seren Woods stage
New assets for Bolor Mountain stage
New menu UI assets for stage results and online menus.
Updated and improved Hamster Village art assets.
New assets for story intro scenes.
New loading screen assets.
New assets for stage select menu.
New assets for win/lose banners.
Improved hamster dialogue boxes in the Hamster Village.
Added and adjusted many new palettes for all characters.
Hamster balls now slide into position when connecting to the board rather than snapping.
Added new text and particle effects to story cutscenes.
Updated cutscene sprites for all characters.
New animations for Bank Shot, MultiMatch, Team Combo/Drop, and Counter Match/Drop.
Updated game logo on Title Screen.
Adjusted the timer position in Survival and Team Survival so it can always be viewed.

Updated and added sound effects for player actions, cutscenes, and UI.
Updated hamster dialogue in the Hamster Village.
Added ability to skip story opening scene.
Chinese, Japanese, and Korean language support (incomplete).
Improved mouse support in menus.

Fixed the issue causing players to get stuck against the wall in the Airship stage.
Fixed issue causing some boss AI's to get stuck in a certain action.
Fixed a bug causing hamsters to occasionally get stuck on the upper corner of spawners.
Fixed many issues and bugs in story cutscenes.
Various fixes and updates to improve network play.
Fixed issue causing the catch action to cause certain platforms to react rapidly to the player landing on them.
Fixed a bug causing a soft lock in the story select menu when attempting to access a locked chapter.
Made it less likely for hamsters to get caught up on collision boxes while traversing pipes.
Fixed bugs in certain UI elements regarding locked palettes and characters.
Fixed bugs causing hamsters to get caught and fall out of the stage when pausing during tutorial cutscenes.
Fixed bug causing AI to not find opponents when swapped.
Fixed a bug in the Options Menu when rapidly turning pages that broke the navigation.

First of all, a big thank you for all the people who followed us these last days following our teaser at the AG French Direct. It's a first stone for a project that still has a long way to go: it's our first game, imagined during our studies with our artistic directors, Florine and Mathieu.
A Cairn Tale aims to recreate the feelings of wonder, of surpassing oneself that you can feel during a hike in the mountains and to tell a sensitive tale about the traumas and the heritage that we leave behind.
The next step is to find partners and then create a demo that you can play. We can't give you a date for the demo yet (and even less for the release of the game), but we'll keep you updated on our progress here and on our social networks: Twitter & Instagram.
