COSMIC STRIKE - The last Sub Sector - Smidy3
The demo has now been updated to the latest build. I have been working on a total rework over the past 3 months, Taking feedback onboard from participating in steam next fest in February.

Game play has been greatly improved. Jump into the action sooner, with new additions like the battle meter, Quality of life fixes, and enhancements suggested by the community.

Heat and Run - damnatiogames
Spring update is now available. A bit late, so we’ve put a few extra efforts to make it as complete as possible!

New features:
  • Added damage to opponents in the TAB scoreboard.
  • Added damage to the Opponent Flame in the TAB scoreboard.
  • Added a ping location system to communicate with your allies (C key).



Significant bug fixing:

As planned, we want to focus on technical issues at the initial stages of the Early Access. So this update was the perfect time to fix a lot of known bugs! But please feel free to join our community on discord right now to help us fixing some bugs and to make suggestions you might have that will help us achieve the best possible version of Heat and Run.

  • Target’s visual has been improved.
  • Added a visual on Arson’s arm when he activates his ability.
  • The position of the Panic icon no longer shake without reason.
  • Elden can no longer activate his skill on an already eliminated opponent.
  • The circle around Solkan turns red if an opponent is there, and thus if activation of his ability is impossible.
  • Paran’s Dash is now invisible in hideouts.
  • Knocked display now actually lasts 5 seconds.
  • The Crown Relic now blocks the damage of your own Dynameats.
  • Visual correction of Dynameats trajectory particles.
  • Corrected some score data displayed in TAB.
  • Flames Health Points no longer reset to Win and Lose displays.
  • Sound bugs solved, related to the music of the selection menu and the winning sound.
  • Graphical correction of some texts in play.
  • Moving the lobby with your mouse cursor should be easier.
  • The animation for new message received should no longer appear on already opened chats.
  • Corrected incorrect displays in the Teams menu.
  • Minor bugs fixed.

New Fighters


- Joe Calzaghe added to the game with his own unique movement and signature punches. Calzaghe joins the light heavyweight and middleweight divisions. Check out his roster profile here.


- Tommy Morrison added to the game. Morrison joins the heavyweight division. Check out his roster profile here.


- Aadam Hamed added to the game. Hamed joins the lightweight division. Check out his roster profile here.



Venues


- Added Lighthouse Theatre, an old-school theatre with a striking curved ceiling and a backlit stage.


- Added Magna, based on a real-life science adventure centre located in Rotherham, England.


- Added Santiago Gym, a gritty, South American inspired fight venue.



Gameplay Changes


- Implemented new body block animations so that shots to the body can be more effectively blocked, and we’ve also updated block transitions to make it look smoother.


- Adjusted the step-back straight animation to be more in line with other punches. This should make it more difficult to land more than one step back straight in quick succession.


- Punch cooldown that activates arm fatigue has been reduced. Arm fatigue should feel more consistent and less restrictive.


- Adjusted dodges when a fighter is close to the ropes. Players should now be able to dodge closer to the ropes.


- Adjusted weaving on the ropes so players can now weave back fully while on the ropes.



AI Changes


- Introduced AI fight strategy, which means AI fighters can now adjust to how a fight is going and can choose to be more or less aggressive, throw more or fewer power punches, adjust which punches they’re throwing, etc.


- Improved reactions to players' attacks, feints, turtling, and defensive play.


- Improved ring positioning.


- The AI is now able to feint punches, push, clinch and kneel.


- The AI should now land more counters.



Fighter Changes


Amir Khan (Welterweight, Middleweight)

- Removed the Lightning Hands trait.


Josh Taylor

- Normalised the speed of his southpaw punches so that they’re in line with his orthodox punch speed.


Sergio Martinez

- Normalised the speed of his southpaw punches so that they’re in line with his orthodox punch speed.


Oleksandr Usyk

- Normalised the speed of his southpaw punches so that they’re in line with his orthodox punch speed.


Natasha Jonas

- Normalised the speed of her southpaw punches so that they’re in line with his orthodox punch speed.


Vasilii Lomachenko

- Adjusted the animation for Lomachenko’s pivot left body hook.



General Changes


- Added more commentary lines for specific fighter matchups e.g. Fury V Wilder, Froch v Groves.


- Updated Kenny Bayless facial animations in the pre-fight cutscene.



Bug Fixes


- Fixed an issue with Steam achievements that was preventing them from tracking/being completed.


- Fixed an issue with timelines in Kiritsu Arena that meant the game would freeze if players paused during the timeline.


- Fixed an issue that caused knocked-down boxers to ragdoll erratically when in contact with the opponent.


- Fixed an issue that caused the game to apply the wrong resolution upon a fresh launch.


- Fixed an issue that was causing two fighter models to sometimes load into the fighter select menu at the same time.

Update Patch 1.2.0 is live and key bindings are finally here! Besides key rebinding this update introduces leaderboards and more! Below you will find all the changes for this patch:

Features and Fixes
  • Keyboard key rebinding is now available!
  • Added the Crawler Callboard! This interface lets you see a few statistics about your crawlers and your leaderboard rankings. A lot of these values will be zero as they weren't tracked before the Callboard was added but will update as you play
  • Added Leaderboards for deepest depths reached and hardcore deepest depths reached
  • So far only the above leaderboards exist. I plan to add more in future updates
  • You can view the full leaderboards through the Steam Community page and clicking on "View Stats." Alternatively, you can click here to view them

  • You can now extract essence from Glyphs at your blacksmith
  • Glyphs are now sorted at your blacksmith from highest to lowest rarity
  • Glyph roll values have been adjusted so higher tier Glyphs do not roll lower values than lower tiers Glyphs
  • Glyph maximum rolls have been buffed by up to 75% for Ethereal, Astral, Celestial, and Cosmic Glyphs
  • Glyph drop rates have been lowered across the board due to the value changes.
  • You were previously guaranteed a Cosmic Glyph when you were above depth 20. Rarity is now randomly rolled depending on depth, with higher tier Glyphs being available at deeper depths
  • Depth breakpoints for Glyphs have been changed to the following:
  • Temporal Glyphs : Depth 1
  • Ethereal Glyphs : Depth 5
  • Astral Glyphs : Depth 12
  • Celestial Glyphs : Depth 25
  • Cosmic Glyphs : Depth 40

  • Added new cards : Sanctity, Divinity, Purity . These cards heal you and increase your max health
  • Maximum Health cards no longer heal you if you are at full health. Only the new hybrid cards heal and increase health
  • Barrels used to get up to hidden chests in a certain room are no longer destructible. You can safely pick Orbital cards without missing out on hidden chests.
  • Added backgrounds to menus to make them more legible
  • Added post processing effects when pausing in the Sanctuary to make the pause state clearer
  • Added volume sliders to audio settings buttons in main settings menu
  • Controls panel now only shows the bindings for your current controller type
  • Welcome message no longer appears if you have already seen it once

  • Melee attack speed was bugged and enabled you to attack 50 times a second instead of a maximum of 5 times a second. Melee attacks are now capped at 8 attacks per second
  • Fixed a bug where you could get stuck on the big beer kegs in an overgrown room
  • Fixed a bug that allowed players to rack up infinite domination runes. If your character has more than 5 dominion points allocated this update will reset your dominions and you will have to reallocate 5 points in your tree.
  • Fixed a bug that caused hardcore characters to not be reset as intended after perishing
  • Fixed an issue that caused some XBox One controllers to not be recognized
  • Fixed a bug at the Blacksmith that did not update the button prompt text
  • Fixed visual artifacts for smaller fonts when playing in resolutions below 1920x1080
  • Fixed an issue with the loading screen not consistently fading in and out as intended
Balance Changes
  • Buffed all melee damage cards to help with melee scaling in deeper crawls
  • Slightly reduced attack speed scaling and buffed base weapon attack speed to balance late game laser beam attack speeds
  • The following cards have had their values reworked:
  • Aria of the Druid - Increased Enhanced defence from 5% to 15%
  • Composure - Increased melee damage from 20 to 50
  • Permanence - Increased Maximum Health added from 75 to 95
  • Perseverance - Increased Enhanced Melee Damage from 10% to 20%

New Weapons:


The TERA rifle was a lightweight adaptation of the Type 38 which was originally designed for Japanese Paratroopers. It provides a rapid rate of fire with good accuracy thanks to its low levels of recoil.

Featuring a folding stock for improved portability, the TERA is incredibly fast to equip and aim down the sight.


The Grease Gun SMG has great mobility that is very easy to control, even under sustained firing, thanks to its low rate of fire and recoil.

Despite its low muzzle velocity, the stability and control on offer make it a solid choice for slightly longer ranged combat encounters.

New Attire:



With your weapon cache freshly stocked, players can also now enjoy a fresh new look for Karl Fairburne with the Liberator Skin. Celebrating the liberation of Paris, Karl can now don the classic French Resistance guise adorned with signature armband.

FREE No-Cross Map:



We know our community love No-Cross as much as we do! So for those looking to dive back into multiplayer, the FREE No-Cross map Rhine Crossing is now available across all platforms.

Based on the battle of Remagen at the Ludendorff Bridge in Germany, the new map is set at night and the iconic towers on the collapsed bridge offer the highest vantage points on either side of the No Cross zone.

With diagonal sightlines across the corners of the map and cover offered by the remains of the bridge, players will have to embrace the shadows and make use of the dark to prevail.

Patch Notes:

Alongside our usual extended patch notes listed below, we'd like to make mention of the increased number of reports we've received for the 12011 connectivity error, specifically impacting connection for some of our Xbox users and those playing with them from other platforms.

We'd like to reassure our Community that we're aware of this issue and are actively investigating a fix as a priority. We hope to roll this out in the very near future, so stay tuned for further updates in the coming days. In the meantime:

Campaign:

  • Landing Force - The mission map has the correct bright textures.
  • Rough Landing – Players can now access the stairs to the house.
  • Rough Landing - Officers will now no longer appear as floating heads.
  • Conqueror – Players will no longer fall out of world if they mantle onto mounted MG platform from the left side (Western MG nest).
  • Atlantic Wall - Environment level of detail no longer pops in and out as a result of camera movement. This occurs near the stack of boxes present inside the corridor leading to the generator in the Naval Battery.

Multiplayer:

  • Trip mines are now aligned with the player character's hand while planting throughout gameplay.
  • Callout subtitles for the quick chat wheel no longer overlap with the 'Give up' and 'Bleeding out' pop-ups during gameplay.
  • Sub Pen - Player character is no longer observed falling into inaccessible area after rolling multiple times beneath the metal stairs located in the Pen 9 & 10 area.
  • Survival – Player no longer encounters invisible collision while sprinting up staircase leading to Command Post A supply boxes.
  • Survival - Amongst The Rubble - Environmental level of detail no longer pops in and out while rotating the camera against the wall located near the park.
  • Survival - Amongst the Rubble - The last 18 AI spawn correctly on Wave 11 when playing Survival with 4 players.

General:

  • Female character – Secret Weapons - Left hand of player character no longer jitters while taking aim with 'Trench Gun' in shoulder view during gameplay.
  • Female Character – The correct rechambering animation is now observed with the 'D.L. Carbine' rifle when walking in ADS view.
  • Female Character - Delay in grab animation is no longer observed for 'Win & Co 1885' rifle when taking aim in ADS view while walking.
  • Female Character - Animation blend error is no longer observed when players crawl for some time, then take aim quickly with the scoped sniper when transitioning from crouch to prone position.
  • Female Character – The proper rifle holding finger animation is observed for 'M.1903' and 'M1A Carbine' rifles after getting in crouch position while taking aim in shoulder view during gameplay.
  • All female characters' left hand is no longer observed misaligned with several secondary weapons while in incapacitated state during gameplay.
  • All SMGs and rifle are no longer observed flickering on attempting to aim while moving in prone position during gameplay.

Localisation:

  • (ITA/RUS/FRE) - Achievement unlock text no longer overlaps the notification area when unlocking workbenches.

For many days, we have been reading your comments and suggestions and hopefully many new changes we've provided with this patch will fullfill some of your requests!

What have we done :
  • general optimization of the game,
  • quest save fixes,
  • many mechanic fixes
  • fixes for looting stones,
  • corrections related to the wife and her need for food (slower decrease in demand) and decreases in demand of wood (but only and exclusively in winter),
  • fixes related to soldiers (better shooting, faster movement while running),
  • faster ability to kill soldiers,
  • less soldier damage towards the player,
  • dog - improving the size of the dog's icon and appearing on the map,
  • fixes for reloading, shooting soldiers,
  • prevent some subquests from disappearing after loading the game
