Invitations for the United 1944 Closed Beta are rolling out!
If you’re one of those selected, congratulations! If you are not, keep an eye on your email, as more invitations are coming. If you don’t get in this time, don’t worry! You’ll still have an opportunity to play, as more beta tests will follow in the coming months with more capacity.
Once selected, you should receive an email from Steam confirming your participation, and United 1944 Beta should be visible in your Steam library. Servers will go live Friday 19th, from 4pm to 8pm CEST. Remember this first weekend the server is located in Europe.
During the Beta, we will be using Discord for urgent messages, live technical support and bug reporting, as it allows us to be very agile helping players and interacting with the community. We will also be gathering your feedback there.
Hence, we strongly encourage you to join our Discord now to be up to date, and to share your experience with us regarding the first beta. The devs will be there too, ready to discuss everything and anything about United 1944!
Please remember to check the FAQs for all the info regarding the Beta.
Thanks for your support, we can’t wait to play United 1944 with you all!
First, I'd like to thank the people that wishlisted Delivoo in these past 6 months. It's been a rollercoaster of motivation and drive for me, as the solo developer of the game, but each time I logged into Steam to check the stats, my heart raced for every new increment of the wishlist count.
Second, I am thankful for those of you who reached out, visited the website and the YouTube channel. The video got 1.5k views and one lovingly comment, which I simply adore. As someone that thought game development is pretty easy, it turns out the problem was not technical, but rather motivational, as it requires more creativity than technical expertise (as opposed to software development).
Third, the reason why these first 5 months of 2023 were a bit silent was partly due to the fact that me and my family are building a house and partly due to me failing my promise of updating you weekly - which, in retrospect, is unrealistic given the workload and the fact that I am a single guy generating all this content - from graphics and mechanics in the game, to items, locations, quests, NPCs and dialogue, story, achievements and performance - writing updates on Steam and getting the graphics for them tops it all up and makes the glass overflow.
What will happen from now on
I'll hold back with my promises to you as I feel like I cheat you when overestimating my ability to generate all this content. I will post updates on Steam whenever I get the time for it and I feel like there's something major to showcase, I'll upload new videos on YouTube as soon as I get some part of the game fully polished and I'll post regular updates on the game's facebook page and Patreon.
I have a concise plan of schedule in terms of development aims and I'll do all I can to stick to it. By current estimates, you'll see major feature development (and corresponding updates) every 1 / 1.5 months, especially since the scope grew quite a bit lately with even more mechanics and things to do in-game.
As usual, I hope you'll stick around to see the finished product: a heartfelt game about a delivery driver grinding in order to open their own Restaurant, learning recipes, going through all possible scenarios and buying himself a ranch to raise his own organic crops (sneak - peak right there).
I appreciate all the support you've shown and I'll keep you updated at every step of the way.

As always, I'd like to thank you for your support and feedback - bringing joy in your homes and hearts is my objective and I'll do what I can to bring that drop of laughter and that pill of heartwarming atmosphere in your day to day routine.
The first Tournament Qualifier is done, and top 20 anglers have advanced to the Semi-Finals. Congratulations! If you didn’t find your name on the list of winners, you still have time to register for the second Qualifier. It will take place tomorrow on the waters of the Amazonian Maze in Brazil!
We have uploaded a patch to fix some errors in the game. Mainly, it addresses occasional crashes. Additionally, we have also made some minor improvements to the interface.
Here is a list of the main bug fixes:
- Fixed bug when consuming poison. - Fixed bug when visiting a grave. - Fixed bug in the counter-reaction panel. - Fixed bug when interacting with someone while lightning kills him. - Fixed bug when user retries mission 2.
Evergreen - Mountain Life Simulator: PROLOGUE - somnambulistgames
The hunting system has been completed and development is now focusing on adding content and systems that build on existing ones to make them more rewarding and interesting.
BADGE SYSTEM
One of the most important systems that have been introduced is the Badge System. The player will have a menu in which a series of badges associated with various tasks will be available. When the player reaches a goal, he will be rewarded with the unlocking of the badge, the possibility of framing it to place it on the wall to create his own "trophy room" and additional rewards depending on the badge unlocked.
The tasks you will have to complete to unlock badges vary with various activities such as resource gathering, hunting, buying and selling and others such as "explorer badges" which you will earn by hiking through the beautiful valley and finding places of interest.
Some of the rewards you will be able to obtain are framed badges, advanced tools, special decoration pieces or access to exclusive building locations.
In addition to in-game rewards, the player will receive a Steam Achievement associated with each Badge unlocked!
MORE CONTENT
Other systems have been added, such as the possibility of transporting objects with the car, a mechanic workshop where you can customize and improve your car, a tow truck to tow it in case you get stuck without gas in the middle of nowhere and... NPCs!
As for the NPCs, they will be mainly inhabiting the village. There will not be a deep system of relationships with them as that is not the objetive of the game, which is to live quietly away from society and build your own paradise in the mountains.
The NPCs will offer services to the player, you will be able to have small chats with them, and they will give clues to the player about interesting locations in the game world or tips on game mechanics.
There have also been added many interactions with the furniture and some surprises that you will discover at launch!
RELEASE DATE
Although it is still early to establish a concrete date as some elements such as steam achievements and localization could take longer than expected, the estimated release will be early in the second half of the year, around July or August.
Don't forget to add the game to your wishlist so you get notified as soon as it is released!
