New Features
[Kaido - K1 Occupied Zone] New Map Coming!
A part of Kaido is unlocked - the K1 Occupied Zone.
Once a secret laboratory of UTE and Ophiuchus Research Institute, the K1 Occupied Zone has become a battlefield for the Underground City and Marauders.
[What's New]
1. Jason's Party and Olive's Party are vying for power in K1 Occupied Zone. They have stored their important supplies in several secret rooms.
2. Due to the heavy contamination of Pheromone, the unusual weather - Pheromone Rain may occur at dawn or dusk. The Pheromone Rain will come with extremely dangerous thunderstorms. Please take shelter accordingly.
3. It is said that the mysterious Air Ducts in Kaido Central Hospital were discovered by the Yuki Rin Scout Team upon their arrival. These ducts lead directly to certain secret rooms, but Fireflies must exercise extreme caution as they are fraught with danger.
4. The Skybridge connecting the Outpatient Building and Inpatient Department provides a convenient pathway for transitioning between the two units. Be careful while traversing this bridge, as its glass surface may be easily shattered by enemies.
5. It has been speculated that the enigmatic holographic map in Kaido Central Hospital possesses the ability to divulge enemy positions. The Scout Team is currently working on the repairs, and the progress made thus far is promising. It is anticipated that the map will be available for use in the near future.

[New Marauder] The Viper Squad Is Coming!
The Viper Squad will appear in Kaido - K1 Occupied Zone, guarding the valuable supplies stashed away in secret rooms by Jason's Party and Olive's Party.
1. To protect themselves from the Pheromone Rain, the Viper Squad has equipped special protective suits. Be aware, these suits can also help them resist the damage from Gas Grenades.
2. The special protective suits can collect toxins in Pheromone Rain, providing an adequate source for making the Gas Grenades.
3. Viper, the leader of the Viper Squad, has some other plans and won't show up in Kaido yet.

[Pet System] Available! Come Meet Your Loyal Exclusion Zone Comrades!
The information discovered in Kaido has promoted the development of Pet technology in Underground City. Each Pet has its own unique Abilities and distinctive Actions. They are your most interesting companions and your most reliable comrades on the battlefield. In this update, we will introduce three different Pets for you!
[E-186]
1. Raised from the 1030 Artificial Womb of the Underground City's Military Working Dogs Institute, E-186 is a professionally-trained German Shepherd - the earliest known breed to fight in real combat.
2. The Underground City has assigned E-186 to all Fireflies as their combat companion. Though his Tactical Saddlebag's carrying capacity and Retrieval speed are not outstanding, they can still follow most of the orders.
[Haruko]
1. Haruko is raised from the 677 Artificial Womb of the Underground City's Military Working Dogs Institute.
2. Haruko's Tactical Saddlebag can be upgraded to a 2x5 volume, making it a renowned treasure container for all long objects. If you find a Blade of Legacy in the Exclusion Zone, Haruko will be your trusty companion to keep that baby safe and sound.
3. With her sharp sense of smell, Haruko can swiftly Retrieve your lost item from the Exclusion Zone.
4. Haruko is a smart Akita. She can do more interactions with you as the Affinity increases.
[Sirius]
1. Sirius is a bionic & AI-powered robot dog.
2. Sirius has a superb carrying capacity. Its Tactical Saddlebag can be upgraded to a 3x4 volume, making it the Moving Warehouse in the Exclusion Zone. An excellent choice for the most ambitious treasure hunter!
3. The advanced bionic design and AI technology make Sirius an excellent item retriever. It can Retrieve items quickly even when it has not been upgraded.
4. With an advanced AI system, Sirius can now interact with humans. Let's have a try!
[Abilities]
1. Pets have 2 Abilities: Tactical Saddlebag and Item Retrieval. More Pet Abilities will become available as the exploration of Kaido progresses.
2. Tactical Saddlebag: When you fail to Evacuate, the item you put in the Tactical Saddlebag can be retrieved by your Pets, on the condition that they have the Item Retrieval Ability. In the meantime, Heidi will recycle all the Secure Cases you currently own at the full purchase price in the form of Gold Bars, while the amount insufficient for exchanging Gold Bars will be supplemented in the form of New Pounds (if any). All Gold Bars and New Pounds will be delivered through mail.
3. Item Retrieval: Some Pets can retrieve lost items, but their Retrieval speed varies. Note that you must apply Scent Marker on these items before entering the Exclusion Zone if you want them to be retrieved by your Pets.
[Interaction]
1. The Pets you own will be displayed in the Shelter. Go interact with them and see what they can do!
2. You can also interact with your Pets via the PETS Screen. Who knows what surprises await when you spend more time with them?
3. You can also interact with your Pets in the Exclusion Zone. A good friend to keep you company while you're ambushing the other players or waiting for the loots to be refreshed.
4. Your Pets will follow you in the Exclusion Zone. However, you can Recall or Summon them at your will.
5. As the Pets represent a brand-new technology in the Underground City, they are undetectable by Sound Indicators for now.
[Upgrade]
1. You can upgrade the Pets you prefer. Note that different Pets have different Abilities and Ability limits.
2. Pets have an important attribute called Affinity. The higher the Affinity Level, the more Abilities and Interaction options a Pet will possess.
3. To upgrade the Affinity Level, you need to accumulate the Affinity EXP for your Pets. To do so, you can bring them into the Exclusion Zone, ask them to retrieve items, or have more interactions with them.
4. Your Pets will consume Fullness or Battery each time they follow you into the Exclusion Zone, or when they are sent to retrieve items. E-186 and Haruko will consume Dog Food to recover Fullness. Sirius will consume 24V Detachable Lithium Battery to charge its Battery. Both items are available in Heidi's Store.
[Costume]
Doesn't a bucket hat fit our cutest friend Haruko? Your Pets can dress up in different Costumes. Let's have a try!

[Weapon Skin Customization System] Now Available!Customize your weapon with your favorite Spray and be the star of the Exclusion Zone!
[Various Ways to Obtain] You can obtain the Spray Cans from the Exclusion Zone's loots, task rewards, Prize Draw, Workbench, Store, and more.

[Display & Share] You can check, display, and share your customized weapon.
[Loot] You can loot the customized weapons from other Fireflies, and put them on your Weapon Rack to show them off to your friends.

New Equipment [Tactical Glasses] Now Available
The Underground City has offered all Fireflies the new Equipment - Tactical Glasses. Tactical Glasses will provide different buffs when you install different Functional Modules and Enhancement Chips. There are 3 types of Module & Chip:
[Visual - Temperature Detection]
Install the Temperature Detection Module & Chip on the Tactical Glasses to detect enemies. After activation, you can locate all enemies using the infrared and radar system, spotting those behind walls and covers.
To avoid being detected by the Tactical Glasses equipped with Temperature Detection Module & Chip, you can constantly change your posture (from Sprint to Silent Walk) or equip special Armor to lower your body temperature.
[Auditory - Sound Detection] - Please Stay Tuned!
[Alert - Life Detection]
Install the Life Detection Module & Chip on the Tactical Glasses to detect enemies. During combat, when enemies close in, your Detector Armband will flash red light, sending you a warning signal. The red light will blink constantly when enemies are in very close range. You can also use this feature to find and team up with other Fireflies.
You can acquire Module & Chip in the Exclusion Zone, or craft them on the Workbench. Submit Modules or Chips to permanently unlock the corresponding features on the Tactical Glasses.

[Surface Penetration] Locate enemies with Tactical Glasses and penetrate their cover!
Depending on the Piercing Level of the Bullets, Fireflies can penetrate surfaces or enemy bodies.

Soft Surface: Fabric, paper, wood, plastic, etc.
Firm Surface: Metal plates, metal doors, etc.
Hard Surface: Concrete, stone, soil, etc.

C++ Client Updates

We're back with a long-awaited update for the C++ Client! Are you ready to level up your loot? Let's take a look.

Remember: these features will only be available on Mobile (Android and iOS) and Steam!

Ground Item Indicators

Keep your eye on the prize with Ground Item Indicators! This handy feature makes it easier to identify what’s on the floor, whether that’s random items scattered across Gielinor or some shiny new loot.

You can find this feature on the sidebar - make sure to enable it in the Popout Settings! By default, indicators show the item’s name and it’s Grand Exchange value, but there’s a plethora of options available to customise your experience.

Settings... all the wonderful settings!

You'll be able to customise up to five tiers of loot, arranged by value. Filter out stuff under a certain value, change the colour of the highlight, and more!

Aside from making everything pretty, you’ll also be able to change between the G.E. and Alchemy value of each item, indicate when an item is about to despawn, and show when an item is visible to other players around you. It’s all designed to help you keep on top of your precious loot!

Here's what it looks like when you've got despawn and visibility options on.

We’ve also included a handy Edit Mode, which lets you interact with the items around you to hide or highlight certain objects.

To make things even easier, you can use filters to remove certain items from the indicator. For example, if you don’t want to see any items with the word ‘Bones’ in the name, you can type *Bones into the filter list and it will remove any item containing that word from your indicator. Pretty cool, right?

This shot shows off the easy-to-use 'Edit Mode'

Loot Tracker

Next up, we've got the Loot Tracker, a handy little tool that will keep a tally of all the goodies you've acquired on your adventures.

Tracking through time!

The tracker will only show a total of 10 sources at any one time, but will retain memory of any previous loot you’ve tracked. For example, if you kill 10 guards and then chop 10 trees, only the latter will appear in the Loot Tracker – but if you kill another guard, then you’ll see all your previous loot and the newly-acquired drops.

Just like the Ground Item Indicators, you’ll be able to filter what loot is tracked using the Options menu, and even hide options in the Side Bar!

Hovering over the objects in the Tracker will let you see either the G.E. price or Alchemy value.

You can also expand or minimise the individual tabs, or clear them by right-clicking and closing them.

On the left, you've got G.E. prices, some tabs expanded and ignored objects shown. On the right, Alchemy prices, all tabs minimised and ignored objects not shown. The wonders of technology!

Other Updates

Before we go, we’ve got two smaller but meaningful options for you.

First up, we have the Master Volume slider that will help you pump up the volume on every sound in the game – or mute them all just in time for your next Zoom call.

Meanwhile, those of you using the Steam version of the C++ Client will now be able to access some slick Anti-Aliasing features that’ll make your experience smoother than ever.

Jagex Accounts Feedback

It’s been over a month since Jagex Accounts went into Open Beta, and you know what that means – it’s time for a feedback survey!

Whether you’re already enjoying improved account security or you’re yet to give Jagex Accounts a try, we’re keen to hear your thoughts on this new and exciting step forward.

You know the drill by now – click the button below to start the survey!

Other Changes

With last week’s update to Combat Achievements, we were made aware of an issue where Ghommal’s Hilt 1 could be used at Barrows to negate the Prayer Drain effect. As we’d intended for this benefit to only be made available from Medium Tier and above rewards, we’ve fixed the bug – you’ll need Ghommal’s Hilt 2 or above to access this benefit.

As for this week’s other changes:
  • Expanded Activity HiScores from a minimum KC of 15 to a minimum KC of 10. Players in the 10-15 range should find their scores are added gradually after some more gaming sessions. This change is part of a long-term project to expand the HiScores, which we’re undertaking in small steps to reduce the load on the system.
  • Updated the Observatory Assistant’s animation to stop it from freezing.
  • Added a more convenient chat option to restart the target minigame in the Ranging Guild.
  • The Clue Helper now specifies the correct type of Greenman’s Ale when a mature one is required.
  • Sigmund no longer wanders off in the middle of cutscenes.

Two Point Campus - TwoPoint_Abby
Heyo folks!

Hope you’re all having a fab week! You might remember a little while ago we announced modding was in the works. Well, we’ve been busy working alongside the lovely folks over at mod.io to bring cross-platform modding to Two Point Campus!

Now we’re here with a very exciting update for you all, we’re delighted that Steam players on Windows are now able to begin experimenting and subscribing to mods in the latest Steam update! This is our next step in getting modding up and running for you all to enjoy, we can’t wait to see what you create, and what your favourite items are!

For players over on Linux and Mac, at this time, only picture and poster mods will work on Mac and Linux. We are working on getting the functionality for other items to work ASAP! Now, let's catch you up with what’s happened so far, shall we?

Over the last few weeks, awesome students over at UCA have been working with us to create their own item mods! As part of their course, they’ve been learning how to use modding tools to customise textures and models to create their very own in-game items. You’ll be able to check out their creations and have them in-game, but more on that later.

Modding then entered a Steam beta a few weeks ago, for anyone interested in getting a sneak peek at the new modding tools. Now all Steam Windows players can access the Mods menu in-game, and use player-created items, or even make their own.

This beta is the next step in getting modding up and running for everyone to enjoy across consoles and PC in Two Point Campus. For the folks playing over on console, in our next steps we're working on getting the modding features over to you as soon as possible.

How can I download mods?

Note: Before using modded items, we recommend you create a backup of your save files*.

First, get Two Point Campus updating on Steam, and whilst you wait head over to mod.io to create an account. You can browse all the lovely mods on offer over on the mod.io website, or (excitingly) in-game in the new Mods menu!

To use modded items in-game, load up the game and click the new ‘Mods’ tab on the main menu. Here you’ll be able to browse all the current mods. When you hit subscribe on an item you’ll be prompted to log into your mod.io account. Follow the steps, and once you’ve logged in once, you’re good to go ahead and subscribe to ALL the items you like!

Your subscribed items will download whilst you’re in the main menu, and a little pop-up will show once installing is done!

Unsubscribing from mods or deleting the mod’s files will cause any in-game items to revert back to a default Two Point Campus item, so your game save won’t be missing any items, this automatic reverting is to prevent any errors from popping up.

How can I create my own?

You’ll need a few things before you get started, there’s a handy guide for the initial setup, which includes installing Unity (the game engine we use) alongside setting up the modding project.

If you get stuck at any point, we’ll do what we can to help out. Modding is all about the community after all! So join our Discord and jump in, no question is silly or not worth asking, plus you can share what you’re working on with the community!

We have a load of guides to help you out on the journey. To get started modding, you can change our ‘Geometric Canvas’ with an image of your choice, like your favourite cat!

You’ll be able to do texture swaps to change things like the image on a poster, or you can fully replace the mesh (skin) of an item with something of your own. If you have a cool idea for a chair, go right ahead and swap your concept with one of our existing ones! We have guides to get you going with this, you can try customising a plant before moving on to choosing your own item meshes to mod.

Please have a read of our best practices for modding, this is particularly handy if you want to share your mods for other players to use!

Currently, the focus is on modding items, we’re working to potentially add things like wallpaper or floor customisations.

*Backing up your save files:

This is an optional step just to be extra cautious in case something goes wrong. Remember, modded items are user-made, and whilst items go through an approval step before going live, each system is different, so if at any point your game runs into issues, always try unsubscribing from mods.

To back up your save:
  • Open File Explorer and navigate to: C:\Users\[Your username]\
  • You need the ‘AppData’ folder which may be hidden, in File Explorer you can type: \AppData after your username or click ‘View’ and check the “Hidden Items” box for the folder to appear
  • Open the LocalLow folder, then Two Point Studios, and finally Two Point Campus
  • Your save file is in the Cloud folder, open it then copy the Save folder, and paste it into a safe location somewhere else on your PC.
  • If you get stuck at any time, this is where my Saves folder lives: C:\Users\TwoPointAbby\AppData\LocalLow\Two Point Studios\Two Point Campus\Cloud\1443752633\Saves
