These days I was searching the problem to fix the page issue, and now I solved it.
When you change the resolution of Meta Lines ,you actually change the screen page width,so if you cut the level page ,you will find the target page moving out the screen. The solution is change the page width when you change the resolution. Today,I fixed this issue.
Making a world map in 3D is overwhelmingly easy, but there are issues with performance, pathfinding, and compatibility with 2D sprites. To address this, I have tested a 2D world map solution over the past week.
If the world map is 2D, each town can have buildings that match their cultures, and players can control 2D characters to explore town inside. This increases immersion in interactions such as shopping, questing, and finding hidden items. players can destroy ground tiles to create lakes or burn down forests.
However, this 2D world map is not determined.
Conversely, if all characters are made in 3D and NPCs are visited in 3D spaces for conversation and trading, the game will be more cohesive and easier to focus on. The problem is that it is difficult to make separate 3D character outfits for each culture.
Previously, I gave up on 3D characters because of the cultural clothing issue, but a change has occurred in our development approach since the storyline was established. Since the game revolves around girls and only five historical figures need to be encountered, the need to create outfits for every culture has decreased significantly. I am also considering making all male characters to furry , let only helmets to represent their respective cultures.
The game's background is set in the 15th century, but there is additional confusion as Napoleon or Vladimir Lenin influences the world. This temporal inconsistency is intentional and closely related to the story.
