Hi folks! Time sure has flown and we’ve done a lot in the past two months to kickstart this upcoming patch. From general bug fixes to larger game overhauls, this addresses many of the feedback that we have gotten from players, that we hope will improve the experience of Romancelvania. And before we tune you to your regular programming, we’d like to highlight that we will be participating in the LudoNarraCon this year which starts TODAY! That means you get 20% off the game this weekend only so if you’ve been hesitant, now’s your chance to see what Romancelvania is all about.

Flairs now are toggled by pressing the Right Shoulder button and can be used by pressing the right trigger button. Training has been updated to reflect this.
Start you off in the game with flair and all the weapon/trick slots filled to ground the player better and show there are multiple tricks, treats and flair.
Dodge now in combat using the left trigger.
Included a tutorial for the crystal system.
Improved the speed and hitbox of the sword to create more reliable hits when jumping.
Updated the Impaler so that it now dashes through enemies.
Retuned healing amounts on Treats

Improved guidance around the Retro Castle to avoid getting lost.
Added blocking volumes to keep you from getting launched during Lulu’s fight.
Added blocking volumes to keep you from jumping out of Sea Weasel’s basement.
Fixed various assets that required a collision tweak to avoid players getting stuck.
Added signage to guide players more clearly to Fenton and Lightning.
Tuned the lightning in Thundercrack Hollow to be more forgiving. Also updated the walkpath to be less confusing.
Reduced the time it takes for Grim to appear on-screen in the Mall.
Reduced the time it takes to make a mercy choice at the Castle for the Van Helsings.
Opened the pathway in the Galleria so you can run straight through and not have to double jump to the 2nd level near Hot Toothpick.
Changed your character direction when teleported to the Mall.
Locked off the castle library until Fenton joins the cast.
The Golden Room is now visible to avoid confusion but is locked off until Golden Hour.
Van Helsing will now be hidden inside the Church if you vote them off.
Reworked the skateboard sequence.
Added safety nets for specific quest items in case players leave regions before picking them up.
Spaced the lollipops out so you can no longer get stuck on them.
Removed repeat conversation exploits.

Added further in-game feedback to communicate low-health state.

Misc
Adjusted the camera at Lulu’s house so that the FOV resets properly.

Nefret’s special date unlocks correctly now on the pause screen.
Fixed a bug with Nefret’s Inner Chamber quest.
Fixed a stuck bug in De Nile on the stairs.
Removed the collison on the door behind the card table inside the mall.
Moved the retro candles in Retro Grounds to drop money.
Fixed Power and Shield treat icon persisting after use (Steam Deck).
Fixed so that the option for more conversations with Sol, PS Elle, and Van Helsing now hide properly when they are completed.
Fixed a bug where if you return to Fenton after getting Strength in Fiction Quest but before completing it, you get an empty conversation.
Fixed a bug where if you visit Medusa before yesterday’s hotfix AND return to her, the gallery wall will block you.
Fixed an out of world bug where you can jump out of Sol’s area of the castle.
Fixed a bug in the Profile selection where it required you to backout of a profile a second time.
Fix to Medusa stuck bug where if you trigger her explosion in the gallery and DO NOT talk to her, then go to save and return, you can’t leave her room.
Fixed a bug where players could leave Hokkaido before Grim appears to take you back to Drac’s Castle.
Fixed a bug where the HUD was still active after Grim’s introduction.
Fixed foreground obstructionst at lower resolutions.
Fixed an issue where names would overlap in the credits.

Clash across Cyrodiil, the Imperial City, and Battlegrounds during the Whitestrake’s Mayhem in-game event and you’ll earn bonuses to Alliance Points and XP gains, in-game rewards, and more!
The Mayhem Never Ends!
The Whitestrake’s Mayhem in-game event returns Thursday, May 11 at 10AM EDT, and runs until Tuesday, May 23 at 10AM EDT. During this period, you and your fellow adventurers can enjoy big boosts to both your Alliance Point and XP gains while earning awesome in-game rewards by participating in ESO’sPvP modes.
Ready and eager to join your fellow warriors? Simply follow the steps below:
Visit the in-game Crown Store to acquire the “Details on the Whitestrake’s Mayhem" quest
Travel to your Alliance War faction's main gate in Cyrodiil using the Alliance War menu or a Battlegrounds camp outside major cities
You are not required to travel to Cyrodiil to kick off the event
Find the NPC named “Predicant Maera" and continue the quest
If you already completed the quest in a previous year, you won't need to do it again
Complete the quest to receive your Scroll of Pelinal's Ferocity and a Pelinal's Boon Box
Use the scroll to enjoy a two-hour, 100% buff in the Alliance War, Imperial City, and Battlegrounds to:
Alliance Points gained
XP gains for PvP player kills
In addition, enjoy a 100% boost to Tel Var Stones gained throughout the course of Whitestrike’s Mayhem; no scroll required!
Battle to claim Cyrodiil You can use the Scroll of Pelinal’s Ferocity throughout the Whitestrake’s Mayhem event period. If for whatever reason the scroll is lost or destroyed, return to Predicant Maera to obtain another, or use the Basin of the Gore Virtuous. Be aware that the Scroll of Pelinal's Ferocity is an inventory item, not a memento.
Claim the Spoils
As you battle throughout Tamriel, gaining fame and glory beyond compare, you can earn event-specific loot. House Dufort Banneret Outfit Styles Brandish your chivalric pride for all to witness through the armament of the Knights of the House of Dufort, dropped by Imperial City sweepers and bosses. NEW—Gloamsedge Armor Style Blend into the shadows as you stalk your prey in the Gloamsedge armor, dropped by Imperial City sweepers and bosses. Ambush your foes in Gloamsedge armorPelinal’s Boon Boxes As you compete across Cyrodiil, Battlegrounds, and the Imperial City, you can earn Pelinal’s Boon Boxes in addition to your regular Rewards for the Worthy containers and PvP daily quest rewards. You can receive these boxes from participating in the activities listed below:
Battleground quests from Battlemaster Rivyn
Scouting, Battle, Warfront, and Conquest Missions
Elder Scroll capture and recapture quests
Town quests in Vlastarus, Bruma, Cropsford, Cheydinhal, and Chorrol
Imperial City daily quests
Within Boon Boxes, you have the chance to receive the following items:

Bonus Resources & The Golden Players making use of harvesting nodes during the Whitestrike Mayhem event will loot extra resources. Additionally, the Cyrodiil merchant Adhazabi, “The Golden” Aba-daro will update her shop’s stock to contain jewelry from Cyrodiil’s item sets, in CP160 Legendary quality. Aba-daro’s Bazaar will offer valuable necklaces during the first weekend of the event and rare rings during the second. Purchase PvP jewelry from Aba-daro Note that during Whitestrake’s Mayhem, Aba-daro will not be selling Monster Masks and all purchases in her shop must be made with Alliance Points. She will not accept gold.
Event Tickets & Rewards
During this event, you can earn up to three Event Tickets each day by completing two different PvP activities:
Two Event Tickets from the first Cyrodiil or Battleground daily repeatable quest
Note that these can include Bounty Board quests, a Town Daily, the Conquest Board quests, or the daily Battleground quest
One Event Ticket from a District daily quest within the Imperial City
This means by the end of Whitestrike’s Mayhem you could accumulate a mighty 39 Event Tickets! Keep in mind that you can hold up to a maximum of 12 Event Tickets at a time. If you happen to earn more while already at the cap, those tickets will not be added to your inventory. Once you’ve collected enough tickets, head on over to the Impresario merchant to barter for some exclusive event collectibles:

I have obviously done much more, including more enemies, weapons, attribute upgrading, and a dialogue system, but I will show off those things in more detail later. This is just a quick post of some stuff I've been up to :)
We’re getting ready for May 10th and we’d like to share a few more details with you.
All our Kickstarter Backers who supported the project and who had Early Access key listed as one of the rewards for their pledge will be happy to know that we’re currently sending out keys! Please check your e-mail inboxes! Keep in mind that even though you receive them a little ahead of release time, keys will become active at the moment of Early Access release on May 10th.
We’d like to thank our 12,000 Beta testers for their contribution to the Beta Playtest phase. Thanks to you, we’ve received plenty of invaluable feedback and managed to greatly improve overall game experience. Beta Playtest version will be available until May 8th so this is the last weekend to play it. On Monday this particular version will be disabled in preparation for Early Access launch.
We have also determined a final list of features which will be available on Early Access release, and other functionalities which will be subsequently enabled in the next updates according to our updated roadmap.
The features which will be available on launch day include:
Language versions available on launch: 10
English, Polish, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Turkish, Russian, Portugese, Chinese. (we are also working on Ukrainian, Romanian, Dutch, Japanese and Korean but those are not ready and will be added in an update later)
Game modes available on launch: 3
Campaign Mode (introduction to the story with NPCs and cinematics!)
FreePlay Sandbox Mode (procedurally generated gameplay where you can select difficulty level, starting location, starting equipment, intensity of weather conditions and other parameters)
(the continuation of the Campaign mode, more tutorial scenes, as well as an Online Co-Op mode will come to the game later in the form of updates)
Technology Trees available on launch: 4
Botany, Electricity, Materials, Mechanics (the Chemistry tech tree will be added later as an update, also some technologies in each tech tree are locked and will be added after early access launch)
Vehicles available to build in the game at early access launch:
ATV Quad (with upgrades), Ingenuity Helicopter, Jetpack and Heavy Rover with 2 types of trailers. (Motocross and Truck still require some driving adjustments so they will be enabled later)
Available tools:
Air Compressor, Blowtorch, Grinder, Jackhammer, Seed Tool, Spectral Detector, Cordless Drill, Detonator, Fire extinguisher, Remote controller, pipes, cables and various building materials.
Tech Trees - technology browser and unlocking section

Radar - useful for mapping surroundings and remotely controlling devices

We’d like to let you know right away that you’re welcome to report any issues you encounter in Early Access. For this purpose, in-game reporting feature (triggered by F4 key) has been fixed and added to the Early Access version.
