We're thrilled to announce the upcoming Kingdom of Rizia premium DLC and the Suzerain 2.0 "Amendment" update for our critically-acclaimed political RPG, Suzerain. The 2.0 "Amendment" update will be available on PC starting in the summer of 2023, with the DLC following later this year.

Suzerain 2.0 "The Amendment" update

The Torpor Games team has been working tirelessly for the past year, and we're happy to announce that our efforts have paid off! The 2.0 "Amendment" update is finally coming, and it's packed with exciting new features that will take your gameplay experience to the next level.

Get ready to dive even deeper into the world of Suzerain with the addition of world map integration and new interactions. Plus, we've added more story content that delves into the constitutional amendment, Bludish rights, and former Presidents. That's not all: the update also introduces the highly anticipated Torpor Mode, which allows for manual saving after completing the game once.

At launch, we'll be revealing dozens of exciting new features, improvements, and changes that will make your experience even better.

Release Plans and Upcoming Price Increase

The premium DLC Kingdom of Rizia and the 2.0 "Amendment" update for Suzerain will be launched exclusively on PC. As a small indie studio, we have decided to focus first on the platform where our community journey began.

The 2.0 Update will launch this summer, followed by the Kingdom of Rizia premium DLC later this year.

We envision these releases as just the beginning of our long-term plan to support and expand the game through a combination of premium expansions, major free updates. In a few years, we will be launching our new game, 'The Conformist'

Our goal is to continue growing the Suzerain universe together for the years to come. In order to reflect the value that Suzerain will offer and to help us in achieving this goal, we will be raising the price of Suzerain on PC from US$14.99 to US$19.99.

We did not take this decision lightly but this price increase will help us to deliver more great free content for the game and keep increasing the value for all players on PC. We are making this announcement now to provide plenty of notice.

Furthermore, the game is currently on discount for LudoNarraCon at 70% off and we will provide a similar discount on Steam during the Summer Sale and again when the 2.0 update releases. We encourage anyone who has not yet bought the game to take advantage of these opportunities to grab it at a cheap price before the increase comes into effect.

MPF Light Tank

The General Dynamics Light Tank prototype is one of the contenders in the U.S. Mobile Protected Firepower program to replace the Stryker platform in the fire support role for the U.S. Airborne forces. It is one of very few modern Light Tanks in existence. You can read more about it in our dedicated article.

In Armored Warfare, the MPF is a Tier 10 Premium Light Tank. Within its class, it’s one of the heaviest and the best protected specimen with its hull protected by NERA armor capable of absorbing damage in the initial stages of battle. With its powerful 120mm gun and decent mobility, it is a decent front-line fighter, holding its own even in the thickest of fighting.

The MPF Tier 10 Premium LT is available in our Web Shop via Loot Crates. Collect 100 blueprint pieces from these crates to obtain the vehicle.

Challenger 2 Streetfighter II

The Streetfighter II is an upgrade program to overhaul the venerable Challenger 2 Main Battle Tank for the conditions of modern battlefields, especially urban combat. It features a number of improvements and extra components, most notably a dozer blade, a Brimstone ATGM twin launcher and an advanced camera system by Elbit. In Armored Warfare, the Challenger 2 Streetfighter is a Tier 10 Premium Main Battle Tank. Its main advantages include excellent frontal armor (enhanced by the presence of its dozer blade covering its lower frontal plate), increased ramming damage and long range lethality, courtesy of a powerful ATGM launcher. Whether you desire to bring the fighting up close or support other MBTs at distance, the Streetfighter’s got your back.

Bradley AAWS-H

The Bradley AAWS-H Tank Destroyer was an attempt by Loral Vought to mount four kinetic guided missiles on an extendable arm while using the Bradley IFV chassis as a platform. Kinetic missiles were cutting edge tech back in the 1980s – unlike standard ATGMs, they destroyed the target by their kinetic energy instead of a HEAT warhead, accelerating to several times the speed of sound. There was little to no defense against them, although they did have some drawbacks, which was why they were never adopted in real life. You can read more about the vehicle in our dedicated article.

In Armored Warfare, the Bradley AAWS-H is a Tier 8 Premium Tank Destroyer. It’s an ATGM-based TD, carrying special kinetic missiles that actually become more effective with increasing distance to your target. It is the embodiment of a long-range missile carrier and is perfect for players who prefer sniping to close combat.

Stryker ADATS

ADATS stands for “Air Defense Anti-Tank System,” describing its purpose very well. The system is intended to engage both air and ground armored targets. It was developed in the 1980s by a Swiss company called Oerlikon-Contraves and was offered as an interesting hybrid that would be able to deal with both Soviet tanks and helicopters or attack planes. Unfortunately for it, it came too late – only Canada would actually accept it in service and the end of the Cold War meant the end to all attempts at its large-scale introduction. The ADATS missiles were quite large but, more importantly, extremely fast and were certain to be extremely destructive to any Soviet armored targets, even though this thankfully never had to be tested in real combat. The ADATS turret was offered for a wide variety of platforms and was actively installed on a vehicle that is kind of like a cousin to the Stryker, the Canadian LAV-III. In this configuration, the vehicle was called MMEV.

In Armored Warfare, Stryker ADATS is a Tier 9 Premium Tank Destroyer. It is a wheeled vehicle armed with two weapon systems – powerful long-range guided missiles and short-range unguided rockets, offering it some survivability in short range combat as well as the ability to deal tremendous damage if left to its devices.

M1A1 Storm

In 1985, the Abrams was upgraded with, amongst other things, the 120mm M256 smoothbore cannon. Over 5000 M1A1 tanks were produced until 1992. This tank participated in Operation Desert Storm, which forged its legendary reputation.

In Armored Warfare, the M1A1 Storm is a Tier 7 Premium Main Battle Tank. The M1A1 Storm look was inspired by Operation Desert Storm, including a gorgeous camouflage net model. But, more importantly, this tank is equipped with a massive frontal dozer blade, adding extra armor and ramming damage to the long list of its advantages.

Leclerc T40

Sometimes called the French Terminator, this vehicle was designed on the Leclerc MBT chassis with one purpose in mind – to accompany tanks and fight off infantry attacks the same way as the Russian BMPT series does. You can read more about it in our dedicated article.

In Armored Warfare, the Leclerc T40 is a Tier 9 Premium Tank Destroyer. It offers you a combination of a durable hull, rapid-fire 40mm automatic cannon and, most importantly, the Javelin missile system. Simply right-click the target, wait until it becomes locket and fire the Javelin ATGM – it will home itself on the target, attacking its weak roof armor. Thanks to this ability, the Leclerc T40 is one of the most destructive vehicles in the game.

AMX-10 RCR

The AMX 10 RCR is the updated variant of the French AMX 10 RC fire support vehicle by GIAT, originally developed in the early 1980s. This light and nimble wheeled 6x6 AFV was armed with a 105mm gun, allowing it to knock out even armored targets at considerable distances. Over 200 of these aging vehicles were upgraded by Nexter in 2010 with improved armor and electronics, enabling them to fulfill modern battlefield tasks until their eventual replacement by the Jaguar. In Armored Warfare, the AMX 10 RCR is a Tier 8 wheeled Premium Tank Destroyer. It’s incredibly agile with its wheeled chassis allowing it to outrun pretty much any enemy on the battlefield save for the fastest AFVs. Its gun accuracy is also top notch, making this vehicle perfect for sniper-style gameplay as its thin armor can’t protect it against enemy shells at close distances. This vehicle also comes with the Hydraulic Suspension active ability.

Sabre

The Sabre is an interesting British recon vehicle, assembled together from older Scorpion hulls and Fox turrets after both parts were brought to zero hour state (completely overhauled) by a company called Alvis. The resulting vehicle from the early 1990s was called Sabre and, considering it was made of decades old components, it worked fairly well as a scouting vehicle, participating in the Iraq War as well as in several peacekeeping missions. In Armored Warfare, the Tier 6 Sabre Premium Armored Fighting Vehicle is one of the deadliest vehicles on the battlefield thanks to its rather unique upward-aimed Swingfire missile launcher that allows it to fire over obstacles or while hidden, for example behind uneven terrain. While being quite difficult to master, this ability makes it a potent ambusher, especially in skilled hands.

Challenger 1 Falcon

The Falcon is an experimental turret developed in the early 2000s in Jordan as an upgrade to the Jordanian Al-Hussein (Challenger 1) Main Battle Tanks. It's a low profile turret, armed with an automatically loaded Swiss 120mm L/50 RUAG smoothbore gun, capable of firing standard NATO ammunition. The operator controls the turret from inside the vehicle's hull, significantly improving crew protection. A prototype was built and tested, but the design was never mass-produced.

In Armored Warfare, the Challenger 1 Falcon is a Tier 8 Premium Main Battle Tank. The best word to characterize this lumbering behemoth in the game is “tough” – its excellent hull armor shrugs off most shells while the damage its low profile turret takes when it is reduced by 90% thanks to the fact the crew is not located directly in it. Despite being generally very slow and sluggish, the Challenger 1 Falcon can take tremendous punishment and is ideal for the players who prefer the British Main Battle Tank play style.

Q: What are the plans for future updates?
Since the game has just been launched, our focus will be more on bug fixes and optimising the gaming experience. At the same time, we will also be developing new game content, enriching and expanding the existing gameplay. Here are some of our current update ideas to share with you:

-Add random rooms to Chapters 3 and 4 of the main story.
-Expand fusion skills for different weapons.
-Add a new 'Shelter' mode.
-Add more diverse and abundant loot.
If there are any new updates, we will promptly announce and notify everyone. Thank you for your support!

Q: Does the game support controllers/gamepads?
Yes, the game supports controller operation. We have adapted and optimised it for mainstream controllers. However, due to limited resources and funds, we were unable to conduct comprehensive testing and troubleshooting for all types of controllers. If you encounter any issues while playing with a controller, please post in the community or fill out the feedback collection form at METAL MUTATION Feedback Collection.

Q: Can I play the game on Steam Deck?
We have optimised and tested the game for Steam Deck and it is fully compatible for playing. If you encounter any issues while playing on Steam Deck, please post in the community or fill out the feedback collection form at METAL MUTATION Feedback Collection.

Q: The game feels too difficult/easy. Can I choose the difficulty level?
We do apologise for not having the option to adjust the overall game difficulty. However, you can use the in-game mechanics to adjust the difficulty:

After dying, you can return to the main city and purchase 'Care Mark' from the 'Vending Machine', which can reduce damage taken by up to 50% and has a permanent effect.

Prioritise selecting 'Experience' rooms to accumulate experience and level up, which will earn you 'Modification Points' that can be used to permanently enhance the protagonist's attributes.

Once you have completed the game for the first time, the 'Employment Agreement' difficulty system will be unlocked, allowing you to choose and increase difficulty.

After defeating certain monsters at increased difficulty, they will drop the required parts for the 'Monster Gallery', which can be equipped on existing equipment to further enhance the protagonist's attributes.

Q: Does the main story support online co-op?
Unfortunately, the main story of the game is designed for single-player gameplay. According to our original design, the single-player main story remains the core experience. However, the ‘Shelter’ online co-op gameplay is more like a ’mode‘ where players can freely choose whether to challenge it, gather more equipment with friends to enhance the protagonist's attributes, and then continue with the subsequent challenges without immediately facing the risk of the next level.

Q: What should I do if I experience frame drops or lag during gameplay?
First, you can try opening the settings and adjusting the ‘Render Quality’ under 'Display'.

If the lag issue persists after adjusting the settings, please post in the community or fill out the feedback collection form at METAL MUTATION Feedback Collection.

Q: What should I do if I experience lag in the online co-op ‘Shelter’ gameplay?
The online co-op mode ’Shelter‘ is based on the P2P online function provided by the Steam platform. The connection stability depends on the host's configuration and the network configurations of all members.

We have added PIN value monitoring on the room creation page.

If you notice a high or red PIN value, please consider restarting Steam. If you enter the 'Shelter' with a high PIN value, there is a high possibility of experiencing lag or being considered a failed challenge and exiting.

If the host exits early for any reason, the 'Shelter' challenge will be considered a failure, and the room will be automatically disbanded.

In the event of a 'Shelter' challenge failure or early exit, the items in the backpack will be cleared, and the equipped items will have their durability reduced by 4 points.

Total Tank Generals: Update 1.2 - New RNG Modes is available now.

The update addresses some balancing issues that the community has addressed, alongside some new Game Modes – Easy RNG and Alternate RNG.

Easy RNG (Random Number Generator) will allow the AI to be more leniant when it comes to attacking. A higher rate of hit. While during Alternate RNG, the changes will be fully random.

Total Tank Generals Update 1.2 Patch Notes: May 4th, 2023

- Added an “Easy” RNG setting

Attacks subsequently following a missed attack will have a higher chance of successful hit.
This option is enabled by default when first launching the game and can be changed both in the Campaign menu and Single Scenario selection.
Once set, this cannot be changed midway through a Scenario. (It can still be changed before starting the next)

- Added an “Alternate” RNG setting

Random Hit/Miss outcomes on this setting are manipulated to avoid long series of unlikely events.
Once set, the RNG difficulty setting cannot be changed midway through a Scenario. (It can still be changed before starting the next one)

- Light, Medium, Heavy Tanks and Tank Destroyers can now be upgraded to their Advanced versions

This functions similarly to how Light Infantry can be upgraded into Mechanized Infantry - the upgraded unit retains its Perk progression and tree.
Basic Light Tanks that have the level 5 +1 armour perk selected in existing saves will transform into Advanced Light Tanks instead.

- New Loading Screens - based on played Nation and Landscape

- Reworked Recon AI to be more capable.

You can now capture empty points.
You can now assault enemies if they have extremely high odds of winning.
You can now attack enemies if it decides that an attack is likely to be safe
You can escape mid-scouting if it decides it’s no longer safe

- Added a new Sniper order to AI behaviour

Order can be assigned in the Scenario Editor
Focuses low-health enemy units in range
Can walk short distances if it’s safe and allows it to hit a unit in the same turn
Can escape if it determines it’s no longer safe

- Added units that use the orders to existing Single Scenarios. *To note, Snipers are not added to Campaign scenarios.

- Tweaked the difficulty of the Falaise Pocket Patton campaign scenario so that deploying on both sides is more viable as a strategy.

- Tweaked the difficulty of the Battle of Troina Patton campaign scenario so that the German assault is not as top-heavy.

- Tweaked orders of units in the Operation Uranus Zhukov campaign scenario so that Stalingrad is less likely to be left unattended

Fixes:

Fixed Soviet Mortars having a higher morale than intended.
Fixed Soviet Mortars and Cavalry costing less than intended.
Fixed US Strategic Bombing perk, that dealing higher damage than intended.
Fixed German Advanced Light Tanks missing the German Tank Defence bonus.
Fixed German Heavy Tanks having a wider soft damage range than intended.
Fixed German Advanced Tank Destroyers having less Ammo than other nations.
Fixed sorting priority to display tanks with correct ordering regardless of which nations are combined.
Fixed one of the Anti-Air Gun perks using an old icon.
Fixed roads going over the table frame in some Single Scenario maps.
Minor localization fixes.
Fixed an error when some settings could not be loaded.
Fixed units losing AP when an Upgrade Perk is selected.
Fixed a minor issue with AI deployment distance.
Fixed suppression having no effect if applied during the opposing Player’s turn.
Fix “Artillery is king of the battlefield” achievement only unlocking if AI performed the required action.
Fix “Carpet Bombing” achievement not unlocking when its conditions are met.
