We're back with another development update to keep you informed about what we've been working on lately. Our team has been hard at work, refining levels, adding new content, and planning for the game's longevity. Let's dive right in!
1. Graveyard Level Expansion: This week, we've been focusing on expanding and improving the graveyard level, preparing it for a showcase at the FORMAT Game Dev event in Manchester next month. We're excited to show off our progress!
2. Combat-friendly Graveyard Entrance: We've redesigned the entrance of the graveyard level, ensuring a smoother and more enjoyable gameplay experience for our players. Our playtesting feedback was that there wasnt enough 'space' to run around and really enjoy the combat, so we've taken measure to address this by opening the area up some more.
3. Spooky Mansion Upgrade: The mansion in the graveyard level has been revamped to be even spookier! Get ready for scripted events, a chilling soundtrack, and an unforgettable atmosphere.
4. New Audio Content: We've added more voice lines, music tracks, and sound effects to the game, further enhancing the immersive experience.
5. Longevity Planning: Our team has been brainstorming ideas for the game's longevity, including additional features and modes beyond solo and multiplayer survival. Stay tuned for more updates!
6. Titan Wings Minigame: We've continued working on our new minigame, "Titan Wings"! Look forward to finding and accessing the Arcade Machine on the Graveyard level to try it out.
7. Marketing Strategy: As our release date approaches, we're planning our marketing strategy to ensure more people learn about Bubblegum Zombie Hunter. We can't wait to share our game with the world! Please be sure to share it with all your friends and family who you think would be interested!
8. Testing, Testing, and More Testing: As always, we've been thoroughly testing our game to ensure the best possible experience for our players when it releases later this year. The focus at the moment has been all around the new content and features we've added to the Graveyard level.. with a small set of testing for the amendments we've made to the school (We added a Merchant to purchase items from!)
We're excited about the progress we've made and can't wait to share more with you in the coming weeks. Remember to stay up-to-date with the latest news and updates by following our Twitter account, @BGZombieHunter: https://twitter.com/BGZombieHunter
Thank you for your continued support, and stay tuned for more exciting news!
Just a small release this time, a little content, some improvements, a few bug fixes.
New content:
3 new engraved scopes, as requested for the engraved weapons. We've added engraved variations of the 3-9x40mm Anschütz Rifle Scope, the 5.5-22x56mm Rifle Scope Eagle Mk I, and the 12x50mm Rifle Scope.
Improvements:
Lost Connection screen has been improved. Now it is more informative and gives the opportunity to reconnect manually if you lost the connection after an automatic attempt.
Any lists leaderboards, ranks, achievements, etc) are now listed alphabetically.
Added an outline to the Tree Stands (similar to the e-caller), so you won't spend time looking for it anymore. Just press the E button (default) and the nearest Tree Stand within 50 meters will be outlined.
The long-awaited feature by many, which will be also hated by some - starting a new day will also remove one of your competition attempts, as it has been used as an advantage by some players (due to the re-generation of the animal population on a day change). Be aware of your remaining attempts if you're running out of attempts. If you let a hunt roll over and have no attempts left, none of the animals harvested on that new day will count for a competition.
The free camera in the inventory now takes pictures at the players' resolution, where previously it was limited to 640*480.
More scopes now available for the .308 Bolt Action Rifle.
Bug fixes:
.223 ammo weight was incorrectly rounded in inventory.
Freelook icon was incorrect after using binos or raising a gun.
Some bundle names were missing in the purchase history.
Improvement to the League scoring system to avoid the issue we had recently.
Aimpoint H34L red dot missing when aiming - fixed.
Thank you so much for playing the game and reaching out to us with your feedback – we've been reading everything you had to say and adjusting our plans for the future accordingly.
Some of you have been asking about a roadmap for the future, or at least what to expect in the upcoming months or from the final version of our game. We hope this update answers at least some of your questions on this topic!
But before we dive in, it's essential to keep in mind that the process of developing a game isn't set in stone, and it's impossible for us to foresee certain problems that we may encounter along the way.
We cannot say definitively that "this and that will happen FOR SURE."
The only thing we can tell you is that "we want to do this and that, and we assume that it is possible within a certain time period."
With that in mind…
FIRST MAJOR PATCH
IMPORTANT: THIS PATCH WILL ERASE YOUR SAVE GAMES
We estimate that we'll release the first major patch within the next 3 or 4 months.
This patch will focus on updating and polishing the game experience.
The main areas we'll concentrate on are:
Technical Issues:
Further work on the game's performance
Fixes for all (or at least 95%) bugs and outstanding issues (such as broken quests, etc.)
Gameplay:
Improvements to enemy AI/behaviors
Enhancements to general combat (more enemy behaviors to counter player behaviors)
Significant balancing and changes to various numbers, skills, and the game's economy
More possible playstyles (cloak & dagger characters, etc.)
New Features:
Enemies patrolling the open world
Thievery
Faction reputation system (gating quests so that you're not overwhelmed by available quests in places like the Horns)
Quality of Life:
Numerous new map markers and states of those markers
Better indication of active statuses (and what they do)
General Polishing:
More dedicated animations and VFX
More music and improved sound quality
Art and gameplay-related improvements
Story-related Additions:
Working & finished quest in the Blood Lake
Improvements to the ending of Chapter 1 (an option to speak with one of the more crucial NPCs and other fixes where needed :)
Possible Additions (if everything goes well):
Horse riding
Planting crops and fishing
Player Housing
This isn't everything, of course – we're continually improving the game and adding numerous new features, some of which aren't precisely interesting to anyone except us and possibly the most hardcore players.
We're also clearing our backlogs from some easier stuff - for example: we're going to change the basic model used for our generic Undead enemies. We're also changing models for Drowners (and adding new behaviors for them but more on that later!) and they'll get a proper weapon ;)
AND WHAT NEXT?
Well, the most accurate thing we can say here is that the game's going to get… bigger.
Clearly, we will be working towards completing the whole story (no spoilers :D), but the exact amount of side content, map zones, and side quests are still very much a work in progress.
We don't want to promise anything – not before we're sure we're heading in the right direction – but we have some exciting plans for the future and can't wait to share them with you. However, we ask for your patience since we're not yet sure WHEN and HOW we'll share new content/zones with you.
One thing you can be 100% certain of - with your support (THANK YOU!), Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon is happening big time. We will be putting in tons of extra work during this Early Access and creating the game we have always dreamed of.
Even if major patches will be rare (that's due to the nature of this game, being an open-world RPG and all), we will keep you in the loop with monthly updates to show you what we are working on.
We'll let you know the moment we have more information, and we're at least 90% sure that our planned features will work the way we want them to ;)
There are two spoilers of where we're going with the game, at least the ones we can share relatively safely – and they should be understandable for fans of the board game. You'll definitely be able to meet a couple of characters they should know very well from Cuanacht… And it should also be possible to get closer to the Forlorn Swords during our adventure! ;)
Before the Necrom Chapter arrives in June, you can encounter the Prince of Knowledge in Elder Scrolls Online right now.
During the Second Era, Hermaeus Mora is certainly one of Tamriel’s more elusive Daedric Princes. While many of his fellow princes actively meddle in the affairs of Nirn, Mora’s work is much more subtle, and none more jealously guards secrets than the Lord of Knowledge.
That said, you can encounter the followers of the Gardener of Men or even the Daedric Prince himself in various locations in the game right now. Interested in discovering what Hermaeus Mora has been up to in Tamriel up to this point? Check out these quests below.
Help Mora’s Followers
As you explore the ESO base game, you can encounter Hermaeus Mora’s dedicated followers via various zone quests. For example, in the quests “Mistress of the Lake” and “Sunken Knowledge,” the Primeval Seekers of Bangkorai require your help securing some Ayleid ruins, while in “The Flooded Grove” the Wooded Eye cult of Greenshade need assistance handling a Daedric invasion.
In both cases, should you choose to assist the followers of Mora, you’ll be honored with an audience with the Daedric Prince himself. Find Herald Kixathi in Lake Halcyon, Bangkorai, and Orthenir in Rootwater Grove, Greenshade, to pick these quests up!
Battle Through the Vile Manse
If you’re seeking a challenge, you could investigate the Vile Manse and acquire the quest titled “The Walking Dreamer.” There, you battle your way through the mansion’s dungeons to help the Prince of Knowledge recover one of his most powerful tomes. Explore the Vile Manse
As a Public Dungeon, the Vile Manse is defended by large groups of enemies and dangerous bosses, so you might want to bring an ally—just make sure you keep whatever forbidden knowledge you uncover during your explorations to yourself!
The Vile Manse Public Dungeon is located in northwest Reaper’s March.
Open the Way to The Seeker’s Archive
Seasoned adventurers can find even greater challenge still via the “The Seeker’s Archive,” which you can acquire within the group zone of Craglorn. In this quest, you must open the way to a secret shrine to Mora. Discover danger beneath Craglorn
Since the archive is group content in the Craglorn zone, we recommend having a party of four players to tackle this quest and its various minions and bosses. That said, it is possible to battle your way through solo or quietly sneak in and out. Should you succeed, you gain another audience with the One Who Knows, which unlocks three additional quests. Get started by finding Ibrula and the ruins northwest of Belkarth, Craglorn.
Delve into Scrivener’s Hall
A great way to learn more about Hermaeus Mora is to investigate some of his devoted followers. In the newly released dungeon Scrivener’s Hall, you and three allies dive deep into the Scribes of Mora, a cult dedicated to the One Who Knows and the collection of all knowledge. Encounter cultists empowered by Apocrypha
While you won’t meet Mora face-to-face in this dungeon, you learn more about how his worshipers perceive him as well as his broader mission in Nirn. You can access Scrivener’s Hall by acquiring the Scribes of Fate dungeon DLC from the in-game Crown Store or via ESO Plus™.
Pick Up the Necrom Prologue
Finally, perhaps the best way to encounter Hermaeus Mora in ESO right now is to complete the Necrom Prologue. In this free base-game quest, you must prove your worth to the Daedric Prince and team up with his emissary, Leramil the Wise, to investigate a mysterious new threat. Earn a unique memento in the Necrom Prologue
You can acquire the Necrom Prologue by picking up the quest titled “Eye of Fate” free from the in-game Crown Store. This quest continues the Shadow Over Morrowind adventure and sets you on the path to the upcoming Necrom Chapter—good luck!
You’ll be seeing a lot more of the Prince of Fate when the Necrom Chapter arrives in June. Are you excited to delve into the mysteries of Apocrypha and Hermaeus Mora? Let us know via Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.
The Elder Scrolls Online: Necrom is part of the Shadow Over Morrowind adventure and arrives for PC/Mac on June 5, 2023, and for Xbox and PlayStation consoles on June 20, 2023.
Pre-purchase Necrom now to receive unique bonus rewards at launch and immediate access to the Sadrith Mora Spore Steed. Don't miss out!
The servers of NARAKA: BLADEPOINT will be suspended for maintenance from 04/26/2022 23:00 (UTC) to 04/27/2022 03:00 (UTC). We suggest you log out in advance and enter the game again after the maintenance.
The details for this update are as follows:
New Showdown Chapter
I. New Boss: Omnius·Aureate Challenge the Aureate form of Omnius in the Celestra of the Morus Isle, there are new levels and new stories await!
More than 10 new "Thunder Omens" have been added in the Hard and Nightmare modes.
II. New Hero: Yueshan Overcome challenges in Showdown as the almighty general, with a new "Counter" skill. Counterstrike combo will be enhanced when equipped with an exclusive Souljade.
III. New Feature: Souljade Recast Epic and Legendary Showdown Souljades can be recast by consuming another Showdown Souljade of the same quality. After recasting, the attributes of the new Souljade will be randomly selected and combined from the consumed ones, and the values will be random (affected by the original attribute). After recasting, you can choose to keep the original attributes or accept the new ones generated by the recast.
If the number of attributes in the newly created Souljade is less than 4, there is a chance to get an extra attribute and possibly yield an additional powerful rare attribute. Please refer to Narakapedia - Showdown - Buffs - Rare Attribute for further details.
//Dev Note: The attributes of the Showdown Souljades are a crucial part of the development of the Showdown. However, obtaining the desired attributes (and ideal values) through specific combinations of Souljdes has been overly random and difficult. Therefore, we have introduced the recast system to help players develop attributes in a more purposeful and enjoyable way.
IV. Huge selection of new Showdown Souljades The new version offers over 30 new Showdown Souljades to collect and enrich your game. New elemental attribute [Thunder-wielding]: The Thunder strikes of Omens or monsters can accumulate a 'ThunderShock'. When it reaches its maximum, it will trigger a Divine Thunder that can cause electric shock and stagger effects.
When equipped with a Thunder-wielding Souljade, ThunderShock accumulates at a slower rate and can trigger Divine Strikes to attack monsters.
V. Opening Hours After this update, the Showdown will be open continuously from April 27th to May 7th (with no changes to daily opening hours). The weekend-only schedule will resume after May 7th.

Hero Adjustments
I. Akos Hu
Akos Hu is now immune to hit damage during the preparation stage of [Roar] before the shock takes effect. (Originally Akos Hu would get a 70% damage reduction.)
Reduced [Roar: Blast]'s CD from 28 sec to 22 sec.
Increased [Roar: Terror]'s CD from 20 sec to 25 sec. Slightly put off the time when Akos Hu can interrupt the shockwave and narrowed [Roar: Terror]'s effective range.
During the ultimates [Feral Frenzy] and [Feral Frenzy: Grab], Akos Hu will get a 30% damage reduction during Tiger Leap and a 70% reduction while launching Pounce Strikes.
Optimized the issue where [Feral Frenzy]'s tiger strikes would be blocked by low barriers.
The chain binding effect of [Feral Frenzy: Lockdown] will no longer restrict players' interaction with teleport mechanisms.
II. Valda Cui
Greatly reduced the startup frames of [Haze: Array]'s Tide Traps, changed the Skill's Focus to Golden, and adjusted its CD to 25 sec.
[Nether Nightmare: Smite] now has the following new effects:
Knocks back enemies and protects herself with Water Energy that lasts for 16 sec, during which she can launch water spear attacks repeatedly.
Tap the Skill button to throw water spears with a binding effect to trap enemies with [Dragon's Coil] at a low height for 2 sec.
Hold the Skill button to aim.
Enemies hit by water spears will be inflicted with the [Soaked] effect. Bound enemies will get off the control after being attacked and get immune to [Dragon's Coil] for 3 sec.
Enemies with Ultimate Focus can't be bound.
[Soaked]: Decreases enemies' Attack by 5% for 10 sec, and immediately triggers all remaining [Burn] damage (Maximum 400).
After being bound by the Tide Traps of [Haze] and all its derived Skills, enemies will get immune to Bind for 2.5 sec.
//Dev Notes: Valda Cui's [Haze: Array] was hard to play a part in combats for various reasons. Therefore, we have lowered its threshold to ensure it can produce stable effects. So, we have redesigned [Nether Nightmare: Smite] to make Valda Cui's combat skills more flexible.
The protection of [Nether Nightmare] and all its derived ultimates will no longer decay over time. Now it has a fixed duration for different skills:
The protection of [Nether Nightmare] can last for 15 sec at most;
The protection of [Nether Nightmare: Bind] can last for 12 sec at most.
Removed Valda Cui's performance of being teleported in the air during [Nether Nightmare] and [Nether Nightmare: Bind].
Reduced [Haze]'s CD from 15 sec to 18 sec.
III. Viper Ning
Adjusted the Defense Focus of [Yushan Enigma: Lockdown] from Blue to Golden.
Adjusted the related performance of [Yushan Enigma: Enfeeble]:
Upgraded the Focus level of [Yushan Enigma: Enfeeble], from interrupting common attacks to interrupting golden Focus strikes.
Increased the Damage Multiplier of from 1.0 to 3.5 and the hit effect has been changed to knock airborne.
Increased CD from 15 sec to 20 sec.
IV. Kurumi Now Kurumi can cast [Sacred Circle: Rapid Healing] when attacked.
V. Tianhai Increased the Attack Focus of Vajra skills under all Ultimate Talents. Now it can interrupt golden Focus strikes instead of common attacks.
VI. Tarka Ji Now after Tarka Ji casts his ultimate, he will perform a 1st stage dodge after getting up from the ground.
//Dev Notes: There were inconsistencies in the rules governing Tarka Ji's actions when he got up after being knocked down, which occasionally resulted in unexpected performance. Therefore, we have standardized the rules for getting up to ensure that both Tarka Ji and his enemies can understand the moves more precisely.
Weapon Adjustments
I. General Adjustments
Slightly advanced the interruptible time point for all weapon repair.
Slightly put off the timing for dodge after switching weapons in mid-air.
II. Polesword
Slightly increased the recovery frames after the 1st stage charged [Torrent Flow]. Slightly shortened enemies' stagger time. Reduced the Damage Multiplier from 6.14 to 5.33.
Reduced the Damage Multiplier of the 1st stage charged [Wave Breaker] from 5.22 to 4.7.
Optimized the motion of follow-up strikes of [Torrent Flow].
III. Spear
Slightly adjusted the hit performance of horizontal strikes and the 2nd vertical strikes to airborne objectives, to chain the strikes of the two stages more smoothly.
Slightly shortened the startup frames of [Dragonslayer].
Increased the Damage Multiplier of [Dragonslayer] from 2.51 to 3.53; Reduced the Damage Multiplier of [Nezha] from 4.64 to 3.62.
//Dev Notes: The Spear's precise charged strikes and follow-up combos are often affected by complications in the battlefield, resulting in unstable effects. We have therefore adjusted the damage distribution of the moves to increase the efficiency of its output.
IV. Staff
Slightly adjusted the hit performance of horizontal strikes and the 2nd stage vertical strikes to airborne objectives, to chain the strikes of the two stages more smoothly.
Added the absorption effect to [Heaven Uproar].
Now [Stanchion·Rising Cloud] will knock back enemies instead of knocking them airborne when they stand.
Souljade Adjustments
I. Buff Souljade Optimized the sound effect of [Stormstride Sword] and [Stormstride] when they hit enemies.
II. Spear Souljade
Slightly reduced the start-up frame of [Heartstopper Kick].
Increased the Damage Multiplier of [Heartstopper Kick] from 1.81 to 3.53
III. Polesword Souljade Reduced the Damage Multiplier of [Blistering Edge]'s 1st stage from 4.38 to 3.94.

III. Training Ground Adjustments Combined Rift Dealers on Training Ground and added category tabs to display items of different types.

//Dev Notes: We added the option to make sure players can toggle to spare weapons quickly in combats after being Countered. It can be turned on or off in Combat.
2. Added the option of Sort by Pick Up in Weapon Bag to Settings-Game-Combat. When it's on, players can drag weapons in their Weapon Bags to sort them freely. By default, weapons in Weapon Bags will be sorted by the time they are put in.

VI. Showdown Souljade Drops
Increased the drop probability of high-quality Souljades and proportion of Legendary Showdown Souljades in non-Enigma Domain stages of Showdown.
Lowered the drop probability of high-quality Souljades in Enigma Domain stages of Showdown.
//Dev Notes: There was a far higher drop probability of high-quality Souljade in Enigma Domain than in other stages, which means that it was extremely hard for players who preferred non-Enigma Domain stages to get high-quality Souljades. Therefore, we have balanced the drop probability for two types of stages to improve players' gaming experience.
VII. Showdown Souljade
Added the Recommended Souljade Set
Players can use the recommended Souljades sets provided by developers or popular Souljades set among players through the button Recommended. With one tap and you can quickly auto-equip the sets.

Attributes related to the range and speed of the Grappling Hook;
The initial health and health loss speed of Cairns.
Health after rebirth, etc.
1. New Attributes

Damage Boost of Ranged Weapons:
The damage of specific ranged weapons' strikes are boosted. Damage boost attributes of different ranged weapons repel each other when they are generated, but cause no impacts when they are recast.
