Tune into the livestream to catch Rain Games play through the first hour of Teslagrad 2. See some of the challenges Lumina will overcome and enemies she will defeat as she gains new electromagnetic powers on his quest to escape from the Tesla Tower.
Don't worry, we won't spoil the ending or the plethora of secrets, optional areas, and powers there are to be found in the game!
- Damage Type Changes: we removed Armor/MR. - Added Flying creatures, and ground/air target types for towers. - Added some mini tutorial popups - some tweaks on balance - minor fixes
ERESYS PATCH 0.5.6 NEW SAFEZONE, SIDE MISSION, NEW SETTINGS AND GAME TWEAKS This is another quick patch, where we implemented a few new menu settings, improved some textures, made some gameplay tweaks, fixed a few bugs, and lastly we added a new safezone, which contains a brief event that players can complete to unlock an achievement!
GAME ADDITIONS -Added a new safezone, located at the edge of the island -Added a new side mission event inside the safezone -Added an achievement for completing the event
GAME TWEAKS -Textures for the missing book pages have been updated with improved designs that offer greater clarity in a more consistent art style -Small reductions to the light values for each blood sphere created, very small changes, barely noticeable but should slightly improve clarity -Light beacon at the center of the pyramid is now more bright and reaches the sky, players should find it easier to navigate around the map! Keep an eye out for the beacon! -Fixed an audio loop bug and other possible issues regarding the temple memory plate in the temple
MENU ADDITIONS -Added hide UI option in Camera settings menu Enabling this option will hide all user interface elements in game
-Added reduce visual effect option in Camera settings menu Enabling this option will heavily reduce the intensity and blur of the visual effects that appear during encounters with otherworldly creatures. It also slightly reduces death vision effects
-Added resolution change timer in video settings menu, A small menu will appear after you change resolution, it will ask you to confirm the resolution change, if you do not or cannot confirm due to a bad resolution change, the resolution will revert to the original
-Added voice sensitivity slider in Audio settings menu (This is an experimental setting for now, It's difficult to measure how much this impacts the positional voice chat volume, we added it as a test, hopefully it will help players that have trouble with voice chat) Once in game you can adjust the slider to ensure your voice gets picked up properly in game, the volume bar below can also be used to check that the game uses your mic (the microphone you have set by default on your computer), so if the bar moves it means your voice is detected If you didn't experience problems with voice chat its best to leave it at the default value (5)
-Added default control layout section tab in the cult guide (just to show new players the default layout, you still change the key binds in the input settings menu) MENU TWEAKS -Renamed the button ¨Control/Key Rebinds¨ to ¨Input settings¨ -Moved ¨Input settings¨ from the camera/input menu to the settings/in-game menu -Renamed the button ¨Camera/Input¨ to ¨Camera settings¨
COLLISION FIXES -Updated and fixed various collision boxes around the edges of the island, to hopefully fix issues about players falling under or inside the cliffs
FINAL THOUGHTS This is it for this patch, the next patch will take us abit longer to release, but we estimate it should be complete sometime this weekend, in which one of the things we will be adding is a much requested game mechanic, a map! We will also update the translations as soon as we can, fixing the Chinese localization and adding it back in the game is one of our top priorities! (Unfortunately, all we can do is implement it as fast as we can once it's done)
Like always, we thank you for being patient and we hope you have fun playing!
This update is now live, if for whatever reason the update doesn't show up, restart steam. And remember, for co-op sessions, all players must have the same game version! With this new patch, game version will be 0.5.6
