Get Your Tentacles Off My Waifu! - Flying Realms
We are on a good way towards the Steam Launch. The weeks since the announcement were mostly problem solving without workflow and adjusting a few internals of the game to get our new content system running. The original estimation for the Steam Release was between end of April and end of May. We are likely heading for a Steam Release at the end of May.

While the goals for the Steam Release are clear, we also know what we want to take care of after the release.

The biggest thing we want to change is the crafting system. Right now it is a good proof of concept on how not to do it. If you want to get high tier items you have to grind a lot and frankly the benefits for grinding are so small that it doesn't make sense to invest time into it at all. So we will completely overhaul our recipes and how item stats are generated. We also want to link the crafting to the Poneh Zen mechanic, so that crafting is not a glorified menu interaction.

We also got some great feedback and will take a closer look into other game mechanics, which lack things. The Boost ability is way too defensive and restricted on how to use it. Healing is very primitive, Collecting Meat is lackluster, Throwing is fiddly and the standard keyboard bindings are not ideal yet. Plus the House and the Level End Menu are still overwhelming. It is a lot - but many of these things are rather easy to fix and change. That means that when we are stuck in a long change (for example crafting system or implementing Poneh Zen) we can throw tiny adjustments.

So - Thank you very much for your patience with the game and thanks for every bug report or critique.

Q1: The plot is only half done, will there be another one? When is it expected to depart?

A: It is a helpless move to only release half of the plot. As early as two years ago, 80% of the entire plot had already been completed. However, at that time, both the release and we were waiting for the version number, so we were unable to list it. Therefore, the entire cash flow was stuck. If we had listed it two years earlier, the current situation might have been completely different.

In addition, whether we can make a comeback now has no impact on the next installment, and the investment in the lower part of the current plan will be higher than that in the upper part. Through this release, we have gained a lot of practical experience and met many new partners, which will give us more confidence in the development process of the lower part. If we are optimistic, the second half of the year will be available to everyone in December or February next year. Q2: There are some illogical settings in the plot, such as the presence of tobacco in the Three Kingdoms period and the university regulations being similar to high school. What is the reason for this setting?

A: According to official records, tobacco first appeared during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, but some unofficial historians believe that there were plants similar to tobacco during the Han Dynasty. The tobacco gun in this work is only used as a transitional element and is not the theme.

Regarding the issue of university regulations, as the story was originally set during the protagonist's high school years, the background was converted to university due to the age limit of the characters in the version number submission at that time. As a result, there was no mobile terminal available, and this part of the work became redundant.



Q3: There were many text errors and dubbing errors in the early stage, will you handle them?

A: Yes, this part of the proofreading work was indeed not done well. At that time, in order to save money, I did not find a professional proofreading, and later on, my older brother did not have relevant experience. In addition, I myself belong to a relatively rough style, so some details seem unsatisfactory. If this has caused a negative impact on everyone, I sincerely apologize. In addition, the new version of proofreading will be installed within a week. (Currently, the proofreading progress is 30%)

The main reason for dubbing errors is that many lines are not suitable for colloquial expression, so I authorize all CV teachers to adjust the copy at their discretion without changing the original meaning of the lines. However, some dubbing errors are indeed true and will be corrected in the future.



Q4: Will some dubbing voices have inconsistent sound quality and the phenomenon of fried wheat be dealt with?

A: Because there is no condition to dub in the recording studio, the recording environment may be worse. The lower part will try to organize everyone to record in the recording studio, so that the dubbing can have better quality.

If conditions permit, we will re record the dubbing of the first part in the recording studio.

In addition, there has been feedback from players that the sense of immersion in the non first perspective is low, and they hope to default to the protagonist's silence. This is indeed my negligence, and I have temporarily wronged Teacher Anye. However, I believe that Teacher Anye has already provided a good configuration. If you want the protagonist's voice, you can actively open it in the CV settings interface.



Q5: Some of the character dubbing currently has a stiff reading, will the character CV be re selected in the lower half?

A: I will keep all the voiceover CVs in this game, unless the teachers themselves are unwilling to continue. I don't think everyone's voiceover is not good. The more problem is on my side, I haven't set up the lines of each character properly, which leads to them not being able to integrate the characters well during voiceover. Additionally, the poor recording conditions are also one of the main reasons. In the next game, I will focus on this aspect and strive to provide everyone with a better gaming experience.



Q6: "Yue in" or "le in"?

A: It's Yue entering. We had feedback from players before the launch and also noticed the issue. However, the dubbing work was quite tight as it was approaching the launch, and most of the dubbing work had already been completed, so we were unable to modify it. We will do so as soon as possible.



Q7: What is the reason why some CG games have different artistic styles?

A: The art style used in this game is semi thick coating, and the first half is relatively stable because at that time, most of the work was completed independently by the main beauty pipo, and a few were outsourced, ensuring quality. In the middle and later stages, due to the addition of other new painters, the painting style was somewhat unstable, and occasional painting crashes occurred, resulting in a relatively inconsistent artistic style in the end.



Q8: Cao Cao is a woman, how were Cao Pi and Cao Zhi born?

A: Cao Pi and Cao Zhi were created by Meng De using the celestial astrolabe The specific situation will be explained in detail in the second half, so there will be no spoilers here.



Q9: There are differences in the styles of different characters in the game. Is it because the character design ideas are different?

A: In fact, there is no fixed idea. Our idea is to paint well first. As for the size of the chest that is roast about, it is completely an accident.



Q10: Will there be new characters appearing in the second half of the plot? Like Kong Ming and Uncle Liu?

A: There may be, but it won't be the main character. In the lower part, Miss Meng and Feng Xiao will mainly fight against Cao Pi. If the Shu and Wu forces make an official appearance, they will be mainly discussed in other games in the series. Of course, at that time, they will be the main perspective, and Miss Meng and Feng Xiao will still serve as the gatekeepers.



Q11: Are all the characters and plot settings in the game imaginative or based on evidence? Are you considering creating a detailed version of the character and plot settings?

A: It will be released, and recently I have noticed that there may be confusion among many settings. I plan to add a small tip function to facilitate everyone's understanding of the plot.



Q12: Did the appearance of team leader and Xiao Chen in the game undermine the sense of immersion?

A: Regarding Xiao Chen and the team leader, my intention is that apart from the halo of generals, those Three Kingdoms generals are also considered ordinary people, and we are also ordinary people, so they are not unreachable; The original intention of this setting is to provide everyone with a space for substitution, so they do not have a CV, and unexpectedly, everyone understood it to have other meanings.

Some friends have also reported that Xiao Chen and Xu Chu may have some unnatural feelings and lack a natural feeling. I will focus on this issue in the lower part and redesign their relationship lines.



Q13: In what form will the second half of the plot of 'Mende' be released? Is there a fee or not?

A: It should be in the form of DLC, which is currently under discussion and confirmation. After confirmation, we will inform everyone; Fees should also be charged, after all, the production cost is still quite high, but the price is definitely based on sincerity. Please rest assured in this regard.

【New Mode】-Everwinter Land
Introduction
Located at the northernmost tip of the continent, the Everwinter Land is so cold and covered with polar ice caps that it is always winter, hence the name.
The entrance portal to the Everwinter Land is located on the northwest corner of the Misty coast.

Unlcok Prerequisite
Clear Chapter 4 of the main story, Sorosat Castle, to unlock the Normal difficulty of Everwinter Land.
Clear Mist Expanse 100/650, to unlock the Hard/Blacktide difficulty.

Information

The new season starts on the first day of each month and lasts until the first day of the following month.

During the season, the stages and opening times of each difficulty are as follows:
On Normal/Hard difficulty, the opening times of 100 levels in each of the four stages are 1st/8th/15th/22nd of each month.
The Blacktide Difficulty only contains 100 levels in one stage, which is permanently open after unlocking.

If you successfully pass the level, the commander will receive first clear rewards such as diamonds, materials, blackguards and modifcation stones, depending on the difficulty.

At the end of the season, commanders who perform well on Hard and Blacktide difficulty can also receive ranking awards such as diamonds, Blacktide Medals, portraits, and head frames.
When the new season starts, all players' progress on each difficulty will be reset to 0, and all levels will need to be replayed.

Rule
In "The Everwinter Land", the commander is unable to fight in person due to the effects of unknown energy fluctuations, and needs to assign 3 teams of Blackguards for the challenge.
During the battle, all Blackguards killed in the level cannot be revived.

In a single challenge, each Blackguard can only fight for 90 seconds, and when the duration is up or the team dies, the next Blackguard will fight.
If all 3 Blackguards lose their fighting abilities, the challenge ends.

There are 3 free challenges per day, up to a maximum of 15.
When the free challenges runs out, commander can use AP to challenge.
