City Game Studio: Your Game Dev Adventure Begins - Binogure
Hello folks!

It's been another great week. I've made a lot of progress on City Game Studio.
I'm happy to tell you that character customization for the game is finished.

The game lets you customize your character, but also your employees. You can make your teams adopt a dress code. Exciting, isn't it?
I'm planning to add more items, beards, mustaches, but also boots, earrings... That's all for June, I think.

Not only that, but I finally got around to adding the happiness of buildings. You see, in City Game Studio, there is the city, and it's important to know where a building is located. You should know that the location of your studio in the city is going to impact directly on the happiness of the employees. For example, an office located next to a pizza shop, and a movie theater nearby is more attractive than a studio with nothing around.

You also reported some bugs too. Some of them are visual, which I've already fixed, and another one is more annoying and affects the creation of games for your consoles. I'm still working on that one, and a fix is coming at the same time as v1.13.0.

Meanwhile, I'm still updating the City Game Studio interface, and I like it!

The v1.13.0 should be released in June, because I'm trying to make a good marketing campaign. I'm reaching out to as many influencers as possible on various platforms to try out City Game Studio. Any help is welcomed, if you like a youtuber, streamer and you think he/she will enjoy playing City Game Studio, feel free to contact me via discord with his/her information (youtube/twitch channel, country...).

Today we'd like to share our development roadmap for 2023!

Gladiators: Survival in Rome is still in early access, so we'd like to be transparent with the upcoming updates and features!



Multiplayer features.
Gladiators: Survival in Rome has been available as a mobile game for some time, and one of the most requested features has always been multiplayer and player interaction. Our main goal is to introduce multiplayer features first and foremost. This year the first iteration of guild basics are going to be introduced: creating, joining and chatting within a guild!

Endgame content.
After and expand endgame content and depth of the RPG elements: Talent Tree System, Equipment Attributed, new biome and main story update is on the horizon as well coming to you in Q2.

Battle System updates.
Later part of the year is going to add daily quests, a battlepass type of system and also active abilities for equipment and new ways to acquire them.

And many many more to come.

With the next release coming soon - it's a good time to take an in-depth view at some of the new features coming.

In this Feature Focus - how you can customise your buildings.

The ability to add and move items around has been a feature in Alone for a while, however the interface was overcomplicated, and there wasn't much choice in items to decorate one's buildings with.

In the upcoming milestone release "Domus" - decorating one's buildings is easier than ever, and includes a lot of items you can craft, loot, or even trade for.



Starting with the changes to the interface. Customisation mode is accessed by using the signpost, as previously, but the interface is much easier to use now - with the items the player has in their inventory shown as large icons.

Adding an item is as simple as clicking on it, and then using the mouse to position it into whichever part of the building it should go



Similarly, if you change your mind about the location of an item, you can simply click on it and move, rotate, or remove it.

Some items come in multiple colours. You don't need to decide on the colour when crafting them, instead you can choose the colour when you position them - and can easily pick again if you change your mind.



Previously you could only position items on the ground, but in the next release, you can decorate your walls with banners, shelves, or decorative weapons. And if you don't like the barren wooden floor, you can make use of the choice of carpets.



So where do you get such items from? The carpenter and tailor are the two obvious choices - with the carpenter handling the majority of the floor and wall decorations, and the tailor handling carpets and banners. However there are some rare and exotic decorations which can only be obtained as trophies in combat, or from trade - so keep an eye out for those.

I'm sure you'll be able to do much better, and curious to see what you all can come up with.
