I have some really hot news for you guys.. After months of working on the console versions of the game, I gave up! ːTuraPlayfulː
This is great news, because the publisher Feardemic took over this task, thanks to which Papetura is available on Switch, Xbox and Playstation. It was warmly received, so on this occasion I invite you to preorder the boxed version!
They look pretty cool, I'd love to have one on my shelf :). That's why I started thinking about a nice boxed version for PC, what gadgets would you like to have such a special version?
In the meantime, I have a little documentary with the wonderful voice of Rachel August.
Reminder that Early Access launch is tomorrow (Thursday April 20)! Huge thanks to everybody that helped with playtesting to get the game to this point, all the feedback was extremely valuable and helped smooth out a lot of balance issues & bugs that I probably would've missed.
Here's the latest patch notes:
Idle Progress is now displayed on a new panel with a progress bar. No longer shows coin / xp gain (because the display gets busy with multiple active towns), but does show town level ups and research completed.
Idle Progress no longer accelerates the simulation by quite as much, which makes the processing take slightly longer but results in more accurate calculations
Fixed missing label and description for Shrine Speed and Temple Effectiveness upgrades
Pickaxe Productivity renamed to Gem Mine Productivity, and has description now
Fuel Efficiency upgrade has description now
Fixed incorrect description formatting for Furnace Speed upgrade
Fixed incorrect description formatting for production speed upgrades
Permanent Research was able to be earned from Quest before the town had completed all component research
Fixed incorrect label on Basic Logic Permanent Research
Tooltip for permanent research now indicates “Unlocks” as a heading before listing the research affected
Fixed Land showing “(Trading Post)” in its tooltip
Removed upgrade Ether Bonus Warehouse Storage, will be replaced with infinite research
Hid red square that was showing the text tooltip UI anchor
Clicking on a resource icon before harvesting panel is unlocked instead navigates to the Clickables panel
Fixed ‘Raise your town level by selling Market items’ tooltip showing on all quests
Greatly increased rate at which Natural Resource Capacity increases with Town Level
Fixed bug that would cause additional XP to be gained when loading a town
Level requirements for biomes to discover precious gems raised from 6 to 10

I wanted to share with you some information about my next game I am working on.
It's called Wendigo Hunter and it is an action roguelite dungeon crawler with mysterious atmosphere and minimalistic visual. As a chosen member of a cult you will try to hunt down a mythological creature Wendigo hiding deep in dungeons and abandoned ruins.
I started working on it in January 2022 and I think it's now somewhere between prototype and vertical slice phase. So there is still a lot of work to be done. My plan is to have a playable demo in Q4 2024 and then release the game as Early Access (hopefully in the end of 2024).
I am very happy to announce that this game will be supported using public funding by Slovak Arts Council (same as my previous game Juro Janosik). Thank you!
I can't wait to see you playing my next game! Peter from Black Deer Games
Introducing Portal Pile, the first Lost Legend released for Minecraft Legends, which is out now! What are Lost Legends, you wonder? You might have already noticed them in the in-game menu. These are monthly challenges we are releasing free of charge, for heroes who want to continue the legend beyond the base game or simply put their strategy and reflexes to the text. For each Lost Legend you complete, you receive an exclusive cosmetic reward for your hero or mount!
In Portal Pile, the challenge is simple, but not easy. There is one village, surrounded by three Nether portals. Exactly 20 waves of piglins will emerge from those portals, each more dangerous than the one before it. Your quest is to protect the village fountain until the very end. If it’s still standing after the last piglin wave is defeated, you’ve successfully completed the challenge. Between each wave, the villagers will refill the fountain chest with enough resources to keep you going (and building defenses).
Just like the base game, you can play Lost Legends in co-op mode! So if Portal Pile proves itself too much or you’re just not feeling like challenging yourself to defeat 20 waves solo, then you can bring in up to three friends to fight them together.
Once those portals are history, the heroes left standing will receive the coveted Portal Buster armor! Wear it proudly so the Overworld will know that you withstood 20 waves of violent piglins. It will also strike fear into the hearts of your PvP opponents! What if they also own it? Then you'll know you’ve met your match – and the fun can begin.
Want to exchange game tips with other heroes? Head over to our Minecraft Legends Discord to join a large community of players and discuss your strategies! And keep an eye on our Twitter and minecraft.net/legends for updates about future Lost Legends and more.
Are you ready to take on a whole lot of piglins? Give Portal Pile a shot and see how far you can make it! Simply download it from the 'Lost Legends' in-game menu. I’m still dealing with my pile of not-quite-clean but not-quite-dirty clothes, but those piglins are next!
