Viveine is ready for its time to shine! After taking part in the Great Critter Migration Vacation, Viveine and its club of critters are excited to be joining both the Amber Island and the Shugabush Island families! It’s no doubt that you’re going to love the gentle, rhythmic tussling of its branches and its smooth vocals as it joins in on both Island songs. NEW Monster: Gnarls



Alas, the final Amber Island Wave is upon us, and with it comes the long-awaited Plant Quint-Element Monster, Gnarls! This milti-organism being is both “bigger” and “smaller” than any of the other Quint Monster, and is actually controlled by two Gnarl consciousnesses. All of Gnarls’ individual components synchronously conjoin to form a “mouth” with which it produces its hauntingly beautiful sound. Once its vocals are finished, the parasitic vines disassemble and the tree-being returns to its dual cognizant state, grateful that it was able to make music in the Monster World.


NEW Monster: Rare PongPing



The coiffed and classy Rare Version of this athletic and musical sportsMon debuts with one of the most elaborate hair-dos in the Monster World! Its fans are crafted by hand and with care to ensure a sharp, eclectic sound when it performs on the Island. These ornate fans can also double as marshaling wands to ensure flying visitors can land safely and comfortably!


NEW: Echoes of Eco Island Skin Available



Amber Island has transformed into a floral paradise for its first ever Echoes of Eco Event! You can really smell the berries in the arboretum of fruitful trees and plant life growing from the hardened sap that is native to Amber Island. It may interest you to know that there has been a years-long conservation effort, spearheaded by none other than the Amber Colossal itself, to ensure that the “echoes” of the unique flora of Greatfruit Grove will be preserved for years to come. You can purchase this skin throughout the entirety of the Echoes of Eco Event and practice conservation all year long!


NEW: Echoes of Eco Obstacle Decorations



With a new Event comes new Decor! Spruce up your Amber Island with the Echoes of Echo Obstacle Decorations, which grow vivaciously in the favorable conditions of the higher plane. Plantelope, Halleberry, and Scorchberry trees all produce luscious, ambrosial fruits that your Monsters will absolutely love! You’ll also be pleasantly surprised to see vines of green sprouting from the Rocks on Amber Island. This may be attributed to a certain green thumb appearing on the Island for the first time for its big Event debut…


NEW: Enhanced Crucible Unlock on Amber Island



The capabilities of the Crucible have been maximized in this Enhanced upgrade! The Enhanced Crucible must raise its Heat level to extremes in order to facilitate evolution of Epic standards…Starting today, Whaddle and Kayna can be evolved into their Epic forms on Amber Island! Check out how the power of the condensed ancient stardust from the Big Clangor contained within each Key will be pushed to its limit!

Quick summary

This major update brings new armed neutral ships to the game, tweaks to some resource rewards achievement related bug fixes and minor rework to both ship and projectile velocities.

Pirates!

Pirates, like transport ships, will grant killing reward to a players who dealt a last damaging hit to them. Unlike transports heavy armored and armed pirate ships will fight back and may easily destroy minor fleets.
Both transports and pirates will now receive a reward boost that will depend on how time passed since the match started.
Floating text displaying amount of resources granted to player now also works for neutral ships.





Slowing down

In order to improve on how different ships and weapons 'feels' in the game we decided to globally reduce speed of every ship and projectile in the game by 10-50%. Maps now feel slightly bigger, heavy ships and weapons heavier and light ships less annoying ;)

Additions

  • Pirate ships now will be randomly spawned in most of SP and MP game modes
  • Floating text now displays for transport and pirate ships rewards
  • Cumulative pirate hunting achievements now available

Tweaks & changes

  • Killing reward for transports and pirate ships now gets a bonus based on amount of time passed since the match started. 120 per 10 minutes for Transport ships and 300 per 10 minutes for Pirate ships.
  • All ships and weapons slowed down by ~10-50%
  • All projectiles 'lifetime' increased according to speed reduction they received
  • Arteus enhancer module speed bonus reduced to 10% from 15%
  • Engine booster module speed bonus reduced to 6 from 12
  • Altered visuals on some projectiles
  • Altered spawn logic for campaign mission 6 "Alone, together"
  • Reduced amount of heavy ships spawned in campaign mission 6 "Alone, together" to balance out heavy ships being previously buffed

Fixes

  • Applied additional logic that should prevent issue with weapons not switching a target when clicked target has a not optimal armor type
  • Fixed some PvP and building achievements that previously were unobtainable
  • Fixed Deep Space map not selectable in multiplayer lobbies

Hello again,

We offer more fixes and improvements which should make the beta much more enjoyable and playable. We invite more players to try it out in order to help us finalize it sooner. Here is the content of the new beta build:



- Province borders with color highlight have been finalized. You can find a new button on the top right corner which allows you to toggle on/off the color highlight according to province ownership, which helps to monitor your territory possessions.
- Balance overhaul for accuracy and visibility according to the new weather system. Please note that the fog visuals will be improved so that ship control is easier at maximum zoom out level.
- Ship motion due to waves further improved to provide an even more realistic experience. The maximum designed speed will be possible only in very calm waters, because the large tides will reduce the ship's top speed and acceleration accordingly.
- Added back the manual rudder control. Players will still have to steer carefully because in large formations a full rudder could cause unwanted circular movements for all ships.
- Disabled the common alliance mechanic, which caused too frequent world wars.
- Oil, Rebellion and Major Offensive flag icons are now properly scaling according to map zoom level.
- Various bugs of the UI have been fixed.
- Fixed major bug of the auto-deesign (temporary of the beta build) which caused late tech CL to not be buildable.
- Auto-Design optimizations.
- Battle AI optimizations.
- Various other small bug fixes.

Sorry it took so long, we've been zooming around black holes for the past 2 years! What started as a VR project turned into an ecosystem to generate more physical input in video games. Now as a small team of software engineers and artists we are here to redefine the definition of mixed reality!

What is CyberSurfer?

A cutting-edge hoverboard racing game that seamlessly transforms your mobile phone into an immersive controller. Inspired by Sonic Riders and SSX, choose from a diverse roster of characters and hoverboards, as you navigate exhilarating courses filled with obstacles and leap through black holes in pursuit of becoming the fastest CyberSurfer!

Why use a phone as the controller?

Using a phone as the controller for our game opens up a world of possibilities to create a unique and engaging gaming experience. The hoverboard-inspired design, fluid 1:1 rotational movement, and ergonomic touchscreen interface allow for intuitive and fast-paced gameplay. With smartphone integration, players can enjoy portable player accounts, making it easy to race friends and compete on leaderboards wherever they go.

Cool gimic bro...what about actual gameplay?

That's what we like to hear! We want extreme movement and competition right from the jump. Time trials, speed boosts, and pitstops to slow you down are all in the present playtest build and the core of any racing game. Things to come such as Black Holes to teleport you forward, grind rails to skip ahead and gravity switches to make you fly!

The sky...no, the universe is the limit in terms of level design and that's one part we are currently working very hard on. We want to take the best aspects of racing games and open world titles to create the best paths for intricate choices on the racetrack.

The Story

A high-speed race for survival in a cybernetic world of robots, cyborgs, and humans

Beneath the surface of this racing street culture lies a world rife with greed and inequality, where humanity struggles to survive. Meanwhile, the robots of Assimilation seek to conquer new galaxies and understand the universe, leaving cyborgs torn between two worlds.

The only place left to close this gap is the track.

Who are we?

We are CyberSurfer, LLC! By combining bleeding edge mixed reality technology with fun design, we transport the player to worlds previously limited to the imagination. We enjoy physical movement, dancing, moving, grooving, so our phone controller is a great starting point to release CyberSurfer rather than a basic keyboard setup. Besides the next logical step would be to create a physical board controller that people can stand on and actually feel like you're on the hoverboard. I mean how crazy, dumb, and stupid that would be ;).

We appreciate you taking the time to take a peek at CyberSurfer and what we got going on. This is just the start and hope you get ready to zoom through space!
