That’s right! Not only will the campaign begin on April 18th, full of goodies, stretch goals, perks, and rewards — but we will also launch a BRAND NEW trailer with the launch of the campaign!
Build a level that has players racing around a city environment!
Looking for ideas? Try building a level that takes place on rooftops, in a subway, a city park, through a busy street lined with skyscrapers or in a post-apocalyptic city ravaged by kaiju!
DEADLINE
Your track should be complete and submitted by Sunday, 7th May 2023 at 18:00 UTC+1
Submissions will be combined into a single workshop item after the deadline above
SUBMISSION RULES
You can only submit one level (you can modify or replace your submission as much as you like until the deadline)
Level collaborations are permitted (this counts as a level submission for each individual creator)
The name of the level MUST start with "ZSL - " (e.g "ZSL - My Level")
LEVEL RULES
Scaling track pieces is permitted
Level MUST follow any theme requirements set
Level MUST have fewer than 4000 blocks
Level MUST have an author time above 30 seconds
Level MUST have an author time under 1 minute 30 seconds
Level MUST have at least 2 checkpoints. Consider adding additional checkpoints for split timing or where it would prevent a cut, as cuts do not make for good tournament tracks!
Level MUST NOT have hidden finishes/shortcuts (e.g using no-collision or invisible blocks to hide a secret path that is NOT the intended route)

Platform Builder started as a simple "game-making game." But as I have continued to develop Platform Builder, so many new features have been added that it's starting to feel more like software. Users can now use a simple form of code (the command prompt), and those with the DLC can import their assets and export their games to .exe files.
Although the easy controls, colorful user interface, and casual nature of Platform Builder still have a "game" feel to it. That's not going away. However, Platform Builder's capabilities have, in my mind, pushed it to the level of software. Because of this, I contacted Steam and asked them to switch us over. They approved, and the changes are in effect immediately.
Ultimately my hope is that those who are looking to create their own 2D run-and-jump Platformer games will find Platform Builder and recognize its incredible potential!
