in this update we solved many bugs, added some new content and functionality and started the reworking of the inventory UI. Sadly we were not able to rework the whole building system for this update aswell. But we are positiv, that we will be able to implement the rework of the building system in the next update, to give you a better overview of the building parts you can use to build your shelter.
In regards to the question, what we plan next, how we want to manage the project in the close future and what our goals are, we would like to say, that we plan to release small potions of content (new weapons, buildings, recipes etc.) as fast as possible, while we stay true to our believe, that our up and foremost concern should be to built a strong foundation of the game, so that we can push bigger updates with more content, without running into issues to a later date. Which means for you, that we are currently fixing the remaining bugs as fast as possible.
At the end of this short informative text, we would like to thank each and everyone of you again, that added to our “success” with the game with either your bug reviews, your suggestions or just by downloading the game and showing us, that you are interested in the game. Greetings pilots! This update brings some much-requested fixes and quality-of-life updates to Fly Dangerous - most notable, native libs for both Linux (and therefore Steam Deck) and Apple Silicon which brings these builds in-line with the Windows version in terms of terrain generation and load times.
Additionally, this build contains a feisty new Sprint map (Twists and Turns), a new flight vector indicator (which has been asked for a LOT) and a heap of bug-fixes and other QoL tweaks.

I am pleased to announce that the Beta for the 0.8 Factions Update has now been released! Please find below information on how to access the Beta alongside the 0.8 Changelog.
Beta Information:
The 0.8 Beta is content complete however you may experience bugs or balance issues. I anticipate that the beta will run for around 2 weeks before 0.8 is fully released.
Save Data:
The Beta will make use of your current Save Data and any progress you make during the Beta will be carried forward to the full release. Due to this you will be unable to play the beta and then return to the live version of the game (7.2.5) with the same save file. If you intend to play the Beta I strongly recommend that you create a backup of your save data.
Save data can be found at: C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Lootun
Alternatively you can create a backup of your save data in-game by using the Export Save button and then importing your save data into a new save slot.
The Lootun Beta also introduces a number of new in-game Achievements for the new content. Once 0.8 is fully released these Achievements will be added to Steam and any you have obtained in game will be automatically granted upon loading your save data.
Beta Access:
You can gain access to the Beta through Steam. To do so, locate Lootun in your library -> Right Click -> Properties… -> Betas -> Enter the code “LootunBetaTest” and select the "0.8 Beta Branch" option from the list.
We will be adding new content and doing the needed adjustments for free in chunky update packages! As said before we'll deliver "20 full Reigns and 20 main characters with at least 1 Route each! No loose end will be tolerated!"
The 3 remaining main Princesses will be dealt with in this order...
... Plant Princess, Shadow Princess, then the 20th! I don't think I'm able to convey how much I'm grateful for being able to devolve my entire body and soul to this project, the only way I can is through hard work, and that is what you'll get, until full satisfaction!
