I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who downloaded the VIDEOVERSE demo during The Storyteller's Festival. It was a huge success with many new followers and thousands of downloads, helping VIDEOVERSE find its audience!
The first demo was intended to only be available during the event, but was extended until today as it was also selected to be part of the Women-led Games event from April 7-9. In case you didn't get around to playing the demo yet, there will be another chance soon – with an updated demo – that will launch before the full game's release.
Also, thank you to everyone who sent me their thoughts and feedback about the demo. I received some great suggestions which I plan to implement next. VIDEOVERSE is now entering the final stages of development, so if you still have some feedback or thoughts on what you played, it's not too late to send them!
I can't wait for you all to experience the full game soon. Until next time!

Hello everyone, We are excited to announce that we are participating in the "Eastern Game Culture Week" event hosted by the Steam platform! During the event, our game will be available at a limited-time discount of 50%.
This promotion will end on April 19th, 2023.
We look forward to meeting all game enthusiasts during the "Eastern Game Culture Week" event.
I've made some fixes and improvements based on player reports.
[Quality of Life] When finishing the turn for a survivor, the camera should stay until the actions are finished before moving away to the next survivor.
[Bug] Fixed a bug where the world reset wave did not give any awards to survivors after the first instance of the wave. (Link)
[Bug] Fixed a null reference exception that may occur when a moveable agent moves out of bounds.
[Bug] Added fallback when loading a save where no survivors have any action points.
This has been a huge work: a lot of game mechanisms have been added to portray warfare and policies in the steppe. Main additions to game are:
3 new factions
Ungern's Asian Cavalry Division
The Chinese Northern Defence Army
The bloody Ja Lama
The Mongol People's Party and the Red Army
The later one not being playable for the moment. They appear in the game but are AI controlled. The plan is to make them part of a playable multifaction including the Komintern and the Young Chinese Communist Party.
A lot of new game mechanisms
Trucks
Cavalry
Mongol Banners
Desert & Steppe
Cattle
Some things have also been reworked
The GMD victory conditions in the Little Model China have been changed
A lot of ingame Aid and context texts have been added
I realize that you love to know the historical outcome/aftermath of a faction ad that giving you that information often greatly helps you. I may add some more "spoiler" panels with historical information.
Game Development Road Map and ETA
1) Featuring all the province and all the factions in the Little Model China. They are 3 big content patches to come: -Xinjiang & Gansu* -Tibet -The birth of the CCP
2) A great map painting -sandbox- no stress scenario. Once we have all China in the game, nothing opposes to creating that kind of more relaxed scenario.
3) Extenting the Guangdong Revolutionary Base to include the Northern Expedition
4) Completing the Chinese Translation. It is 65-70% done. It may seem to stall, but as I keep adding tons of texts every day, a 65% done translation is actually encouraging.
And that will be done!
Have fun!

At last, the final destination, Rhythm Brawl - 1.0
After 2 years and 4 months of development, the game is now, finished!
So, what's the final changes?
Added some indicators for the edoren system.
Fixed a few bugs.
Improved the achievements and added a "King Of Rhythm" achievement.
New song, After Work, although its kinda buggy atm.
QoL improvements.
Also, Rhythm Brawl is one of the 60 fighting games showcased on the indie fighting game fest! Thats a W.
Now, will I update the game beyond 1.0? To be honest, im not sure. Ive been working on Rhythm Brawl for a very long time and I think I should move on to other projects. That being said, if the game does pick up traction and people buy it more, I most probably will return!
Thank you so much everyone for all your support for the game, Rhythm Brawl is now, officially, done and out of Early Access!
If you encounter any further issues, please let us know via a steam review, discussion board or via our discord server. If you're interested in my next upcoming project, feel free to follow me on Twitter where I post regular updates to the game's development. And as always, enjoy! :D
