We added two new quest maps available after chapter 15 : another Gold Rush and another Close Bonds map, it's the same map but with a different layout and obviously stronger enemies. This should help people struggling with gold and help improve some of the late game relationships.
Fixes : -Reduced the gold reward from Twin Swords quest from 10000 to 5000 golds. The bonus was too high compared to other quests, especially considering this map's other rewards. -Fixed an issue with Astrid-Sara A-rank relationship where the wrong scene was displayed. -Fixed a bug in the Knight of the Sun quest where opening the door gave a sword for absolutely no reason. -Also very minor editing in the text of that chapter.
Apparently the Steam Deck issue was solved last update! If you enjoyed the game, please consider leaving a review, it really helps!
We are continuing to see a steady flow of new soldiers in the game, welcome!
Last week we had some unfortunate server issues that we are still working to resolve for a more stable future, but we’re currently hopeful that the actions we took late last week and yesterday will hold for now. We know that you just want to get into a raid when you launch the game and have the stability of our servers as a top priority,
That said, we are also working towards a more set weekly maintenance schedule now that we’re hopefully at the tail end of the rapid patching since launch. It will probably take another week or two to get there but we will keep you posted on what day and window of time we’ll decide on as soon as we have it set.
We would like to remind everyone that patching means server downtime, if you are unable to login to the game, please keep an eye on our Discord until we have a server status available elsewhere.

🚧 Progression Resets
A hot topic the last few days. We’ve tried to be clear in our communication that progression resets will happen for the duration of the Early Access / Beta period but we would like to take this opportunity to clarify further. The first reset will come on April 7.
We will also most likely apply a principle of more spaced out resets after the full launch of the game.
As with many other games in our genre, and specifically as we’re still in active development of the game, these resets give us the opportunity to add or remove, change and tweak settings and gear that are needed to take us closer to the full launch. In these resets, your gear and progression will be wiped, but any starting gear you might have had when you first purchased the game (including the various Edition’s gear) will still greet you at login.
We will try to communicate these resets, or wipes, with a week's notice so that you can go all in and use all your gear and consumables without any FOMO.

For those curious, the questions about 'War for the Overworld' are primarily directed towards our existing community from the previous game developed by Brightrock. They have been by our side for a long time anticipating more information about the secretive 'Project Aftercare', and we were (are!) excited to finally be able to tell them (you?) more.

Some skills aren't very good together. If you take smelling salts and time skip, you can run circles around anyone, but you have no offensive ability. That's because those powers aren't supposed to work together. They belong to different characters!
This is part of a broader metagame overhaul that lays the groundwork for the difficulty system, a tutorial, and a bunch more content.
The next step is to crank out a bunch more powers. Currently there are 10 in the game, but I want to turn that up to 28 - 7 per character. That way, after you pick your first power, you'll only have a 50% chance of seeing a specific other power from that character.
With this update, 2 new powers are being introduced! Nutmeg and Suplex. Both are 0-cost tactical tools, but with different flavors. Nutmeg is when Cole runs between his opponent's legs, and the upgrades focus on letting Cole escape to accomplish more mischief. Suplex is when Black Eagle slams his opponent over his shoulder, and the upgrades make it do damage and encourage Black Eagle to continue the attack.
Each power has about 10 associated upgrades, so it'll take a few weeks for me to implement all that new content. To stay up to date with the game's development, check out the twitch stream: twitch.tv/vegetablebread
We are very pleased with the great wave of interest that you showed after the publication of our video on April Fool's Day. We decided that there is no point in keeping you in suspense any longer and...
Now we can officially confirm - all the content you saw in the video will officially go to Chronicles in Mod of the Decade Edition (so far we temporarily call it version 2.0), i.e. the free update of The Chronicles of Myrtana.
This version will include an optional hardcore mode, which we have already mentioned many times. The joke was the exclusivity on Switch - at the moment we have no plans for this console or any other port.
What about the premiere of this edition? The work is steadily moving forward, but we still don't want to give an official release date until we are 100% sure that we can keep it - we will keep you updated on this matter!
