[ GAMEPLAY ]
- HE grenades no longer affect smokes through walls.
- Disabled collisions between ragdolls.
- Players will no longer drop weapons when getting a bonus weapon in Deathmatch.
- Trajectory preview for decoy grenades is now correct.
- Improved behavior of picking up weapons with the use key.  

[ INPUT SYSTEM ]
- Buy menu and scoreboard now allow movement while they have focus.
- Team intro allows voice chat.
- Keys will no longer get stuck when opening the steam overlay.
- Fixed many cases where user input would get confused.
- Multiple actions cannot be bound to one key.

[ SOUND ]
- Adjustments to smoke grenade sound timing at a distance.
- Fixed a bug where flashbang or grenade sound effect would remain if player died while having that sound effect active.
- Added dedicated player-only sound when a grenade is correctly jump-thrown.
- Fixed chat wheel lines to be restricted to legitimate chat wheel lines that can be configured in game options.

Welcome to the Whatta Blast! update.

Notable additions for both base game and Spaced Out! Include lots of new meteor-shower play, a new way to receive cosmetic skins—aka blueprints—and a paleontology-themed story trait we think you'll really dig. (Couldn't resist.)

We've got a new ONI short out, too!



Meteors!
Meteor shower intensity can now be adjusted in the new game settings. We've also added a new Meteor Blaster building to blow incoming meteors to smithereens when they get within range. Aside from the obvious fun of shooting things down in a spray of sparkles, this keeps your colony's surface setup from being damaged.

The projectiles for this building are produced at the Blastshot Maker, which can be operated by Duplicants with the new Pyrotechnics skill.

Some Duplicants get extra hyped about meteor showers! These Duplicants possess the new Rock Fan trait, which increases all of their attributes by +3 when there's a meteor shower in progress.

Timed Blueprint Drops!
This update introduces weekly blueprint drops that unlock at randomized time intervals during gameplay. We're starting with 3 individual items per week and you should get everything within 6 hours—these numbers will likely be adjusted in the future. You can check the drop counter on the Klei Rewards page to see how many you have left! Don't forget to redeem your Klei Rewards crate while you're there.

To claim the Klei Rewards crate: Click on “Supply Closet” in the Main Menu, and hit the “Claim Blueprints'' button to navigate to the Klei Rewards webpage. Once you've redeemed your crate, you can view your collection of blueprints in your online inventory or in-game, in your Supply Closet.

Fossils!
There's an unidentified new critter in the colony. The catch? It's been dead for a very, very long time! But with careful excavation and inspection of the fossils it left behind, your Duplicants can glean key info about where it came from...and what might be waiting for them out there in the galaxy. Plus, assembling the full skeleton for study unlocks a deep cache of resources.

Summary
New meteor shower-related buildings, traits and skills! Fresh new blueprints unlocked while you play! A fossil story trait and a new short! We've also squashed some bugs and fixed a few crashes.

It’s time for another Dev Diary! We know that you all have been eagerly waiting for this, and this time, we will be talking about Intelligence in World Warfare and Economics!

"Within the labyrinthine depths of military intelligence lies a powerful weapon, a sharpened sword honed by knowledge, strategy, and foresight. Yet like any weapon, it must be wielded with great care, for one misstep can unravel even the most carefully laid plans, and the consequences of failure can be catastrophic."



Intelligence

In World Warfare & Economics, you can use espionage, launch cyber-attacks, dismantle enemies’ military bases, dismantle enemies’ nuclear programs, track & sabotage enemies’ arms shipments and even eliminate high-ranking personnel.



When you are at war, how do you know what your enemies next move is going to be?

When such a crisis arises, you have to collect data on them, such as strategic locations, division & squadron locations - that way, you can anticipate whenever a unit is coming to attack you and build your defense strategy accordingly.



Intelligence Rate



Each country has an intelligence rate. This rate is determined by how much you know about that country; for example, a 100% intelligence rate means you know everything about the country, its strategic locations, and other advantageous information.

A high intelligence rate provides a significant advantage in warfare, as it allows you to anticipate and counter your enemy's moves effectively. With a complete understanding of the enemy's strengths and weaknesses, you can devise a sound strategy that exploits their vulnerabilities and minimizes your own weaknesses. You can also use this intelligence to launch covert operations, such as espionage, cyber-attacks, sabotage, and assassination attempts, all while remaining undetected.



In order to gain an intelligence rate, you will need to distribute intelligence manpower and continuously launch intelligence missions.

Overall, the intelligence rate system in World Warfare & Economics is a vital component that adds depth and complexity to the game. It allows players to experience the challenges and complexities of modern warfare, where intelligence is just as crucial as military might. By mastering the intelligence system, players can gain a significant edge over their enemies and emerge victorious in the world of World Warfare & Economics.




Intelligence Manpower



The manpower in the intelligence sector is divided into five different units, intelligence soldiers, special agents, spies, hackers, and reconnaissance aircrafts. Each one of them has a different role in securing intelligence on your targets. For example, intelligence soldiers are adept at gathering information on enemy troops, while special agents specialize in infiltration and sabotage operations. Spies, on the other hand, excel at collecting sensitive information, while hackers are skilled in cyberattacks, and reconnaissance aircrafts provide real-time intelligence on enemy positions.



Your manpower can be increased by keeping up with other sectors (such as the military and education). A country with a better education score will have better hackers than their target country, so cyberattacks will be more likely to succeed.



In World Warfare & Economics, you can launch stealth missions to secretly attack any country without forcing you to declare war. With these extensive intelligence features, players can experience the challenges and complexities of modern warfare, making it exciting and engaging.



The intelligence system and other systems in World Warfare & Economics all work together to ensure immersiveness.

A new hotfix for The Last of Us Part I is now live. This update addresses fixes that improve memory, performance, and more.

  • Decreased PSO cache size to reduce memory requirements and minimize Out of Memory crashes
  • Added additional diagnostics for developer tracking purposes
  • Increased animation streaming memory to improve performance during gameplay and cinematics
  • Fix for crash on first boot

Hi!

The new version of the game introduces daily rewards, as well as several bug fixes and changes.

Added:
- Daily rewards, every 24 hours from the last claim, you will be able to get another one, and so on!
- Scaling of quest rewards, from now on, quests rewards will scale
- 4 achievements

Changes:
- Stats and achievements are now in one window
- Achievements are added automatically, after that you can collect the reward for getting them, not like before that collecting the reward gave an achievement
- Building upgrade quest scaling has been reduced, from now on less will be required to complete the goal
- You can own 1000 of each building, this is a limitation that will change the gameplay. This number will increase with each major update

Fixes:
- Trades didn't show correct data and didn't work (v1.0.6 broke trading)
- Card icons in the shop were not updating
- Sometimes the helicopter got stuck on the edge of the screen
- In the character/building upgrade window, the text did not fit in the window at higher values
- When selecting a card in the store, the bar was sometimes filled incorrectly

Third devlog! I love doing these. <3

Our Alpha Testers found some wild bugs and builds with the latest Alpha! Missiles spinning out of control, mysterious lightning being conjured from thin air, HUGE attack scaling, and bizarre spawning inside of lakes and mountains. This game is fun!!!





We've been adding a totally cool music player, which has various minidiscs with some completely wicked music. So far we just have 3 minidiscs, but we'll be adding more for players to discover in each area.



The next big thing we'll be tackling... MOUNTS!!!



We're in the midst of posting polls for our Alpha Testers to crowd-design a new character. If you want to take part and try out the amazingly fun Alpha build, hop on over to our Discord!
