We hope you're all doing well and enjoying TFM. We've been working hard to improve your TFM experience, and we're excited to share some exciting news about this week's additions and what else is coming with the next major update. ːreexcitedː

ːhappyhfː First of all, we've completed the new feature that allows traits to gain experience and level up.

ːhappyhfː We've introduced several new constructions, including the Hunter's Lodge, Paper Mill, Grain Mill, Enchanter's Workshop, Tinker's Workshop, Toymaker's Hut, Scriptorium, Charcoal Mound, Smoke House, Mining Shack, Smithy, Jewelry Workshop, Leatherworker's Shop, Weaponsmithy, Cattle Ranch, Brickmaker's Hut, Armorsmithy, Titanforge, and Artificer's Workshop. These new buildings will allow you to expand your settlement and create even more interesting items.



ːhappyhfː We've also added many new jobs for your characters, including Hunter, Miller, Enchanter, Tinker, Toymaker, Scribe, Burner, Miner, Blacksmith, Jewelcrafter, Leathercrafter, Weaponsmith, Rancher, Herbalist, Brickmaker, Armorsmith, Titanforger, and Artificer. These new jobs will give your characters even more ways to contribute to your settlement.

ːhappyhfː To support these new additions, we've also added several new resources to the game, including Leather, Game, Flour, Paper, Coal, Metal Ore, Metal Ingot, Spice, and Brick. We've also introduced a new food item called Smoked Meal, which will give your characters a delicious energy boost.

ːhappyhfː We've made some balance changes as well, with the Human trait now gaining 1 XP after every activity. We've also made some fixes and refactored some code related to prerequisites, faction perks, and regions.

ːhappyhfː Finally, we've made several improvements to the map editor, so you can now create even more detailed and interesting maps once we finish the Map Editor and release it in one of the future updates.

Please note that these updates will be available on Steam as part of the next major update. We are working tirelessly to release this update as quickly as possible, and we are grateful for your continued support and patience. Dark Chess - Amiendor
Greetings, Dark Chessians!
We're excited to announce the latest update for the game, packed with new features and improvements to enhance your gameplay experience.

  • With this build, we've fixed several bugs that were reported by our community, ensuring that the game runs smoothly and without issue.
  • Additionally, we've added the ability to choose which side to play for in solo mode, giving you more control over your strategy and allowing for more replayability.
  • We've also added cloud saves on Steam, making it easier to access your saved games across multiple devices.
  • Hints for Campaign levels have been added as well, providing helpful tips and guidance to aid you on your chess adventure.
  • Visually, Dark Chess has been updated to give the game a fresh new look, bringing an even more immersive chess experience to your screen.
  • We've also made balance fixes for Campaign opponents, as the Chess gods have been especially harsh on Juana and Vlad.

And finally, we have to address the elephant in the room - our team members were taken as hostages by Anarchy Chess, which led us to make an emergency visit to Il Vaticano. We'll leave it at that for now, but suffice it to say that we'll continue to do everything in our power to bring you the best possible Dark Chess experience.

Nordic Ashes: Survivors of Ragnarok - Noxfall Studios
This update fixes a few things you reported:
  • Torches will last more time when lit and less time when off on Expert Mode. It will take less time to warm up now.
  • The Freezing Curse now takes longer to add new stacks.
  • Hafgrim’s Thunder Codex ascension was bugged.
  • Orglo’s staff visual effects have been softened.
  • Tarot Deck was bugged and only froze enemies.

New Features:

Map Tiers X - XV

All map tier map node designs have been reworked to make it easier to differentiate between the different map tiers. New Map Tiers X- XV have been added to the endgame.





Balancing: 

  • The higher map tiers now spawn quicker after you have reached level 70
  • Enemy HP scaling slightly increased 
  • Dodge skill now reduce dodge regeneration by -20% instead of reducing max dodge by -1. This should make dodge skills a more valid choice.
  • The increased AoE size is now capped to +400% (which is around a screen size for most of the skills) to maintain performance in endgame scenarios. 
  • Increased spawn possibility of increased critical hit chance skill node
  • Reduced drop chance of skill point gem

List of changes in Knights of the Chalice 2 Version 1.59

  • Fixed a problem with the animation of tiny crawling bugs. They would stop moving after a very short while. That bug was introduced in the February update, my apologies.
  • Fixed a bug with the Reach Domain of the Cleric and Bishop not granting the +2 bonus on the attack roll for the spell Magic Stone. Thank you very much Quincy for letting me know about this!
  • Fixed a bug with the Rogue's version of the spells Shocking Grasp and Greater Shocking Grasp not granting the +4 attack roll bonus when the target wears metal armour.
  • Fixed a bug with the Druid's version of the spell Ice Lance not granting its +4 attack roll bonus.
  • Fixed a slowdown when opening and closing the Script Editor from the Intelligence tab of the Creature Properties screen. When closing the Script Editor, processing will now take place only if you've actually saved a script.
Space Mercenary Defense Force - Tom
This update brings a new score system to the game where you earn points by killing enemies, completing encounters, collecting exp, achieving killstreaks, & more! This new score system can be visually disabled in the options so you can play the game without the points and streak indicators if you wish, while your total score will continue to be tracked and displayed at the game over screen.

A new high-res font option has been added to the options, changing all text throughout the game to use a clearer font for better readability and accessibility - enable/disable it at any point in the options menu.

Lastly, many smaller changes and improvements have been made including a larger one to enemy movement.


Score System
The scoring system is a new way to display your performance throughout and after a run as well as comparing between runs. There are many ways to earn points while playing:
  • Collecting exp coins and level-up gems
    Exp coins provide points relative to their exp value and gems provide a flat 500 points. This includes exp given by slot machines!
  • Killing enemies
    Every enemy provides a unique amount of points on kill including bosses, minibosses, & empowered enemies.
  • Earn killstreaks
    Killstreaks multiply the points earned by killing enemies. Killing enemies in a short amount of time will begin a killstreak timer. Continuing to kill enemies while the timer is active resets it but the length of the timer decreases as the killstreak counter increases. After earning a 10 killstreak, the streak counter and kill points will flash and after earning a 50 killstreak they will flash rainbow colours to indicate your progress. Make sure to keep the streak going!
  • Complete encounters
    Encounters provide flat points as well as the points provided by the guaranteed level-up gem. Combat encounters will provide more points due to the additional enemies they create.
  • Level up
    Levelling up provides points relative to your new level so the larger your level, the more points!


When a run ends, your achieved score and highest earned streak are displayed in the game over screen as well as your overall best score and best earned streak. These are saved so you can always strive to beat your best!

Lastly, you can disable all score indicators in the options menu and play the game like before while still having your score be tracked and displayed at the end of a run.

High-res Font
To improve accessibility and readability, a new high-res font toggle has been added to the options menu. This changes all text displayed throughout the game to a clearer font designed for maximal readability.

Changes & Bugfixes
  • Limited enemy diagonal movement speed magnitude to their regular speed. This will improve navigation around large enemy hordes where previously when traveling diagonally, enemies would move faster
  • Changed encounter rewards so that ships without turrets cannot be offered turret upgrades
  • Changed the first encounter spawn timer to be between 5-8 minutes
  • Made small changes to enemy spawning:
    • Ship-chargers spawn slightly less frequently early on
    • Lowered enemy spawn frequency leading up to boss spawns
  • Fixed controller navigation when encounter reward screen opens
  • Added new font credits to the game credits
