Tournament mode is now unlocked and available to play! This game mode starts at very high difficulty and the player cannot earn extra lives... It also has its own online Leaderboard and a shiny new green Ship Skin.
I've also added 3 new launch options for users that have requested a windowed mode: -window1 will launch the game in a 1024x768 windowed mode... -window2 will launch the game in a 1280x960 windowed mode... -window3 will launch the game in a 1280x720 windowed mode...
Counter-Strike 2 is very close to being out and we have never been more ready for something like this. Everyone on the CS Team is thrilled with the support over the last tests. We have a planned release sometime this month. Thank you for your patience!
Still busy at it trying to get a demo ready for everyone!
Implemented volume control for music, sfx, and master control
Game progress is now saved as well. There was lots of little bits
Stats now show after game
Tidying up menus
Adding placeholder sfx sounds which has made a massive difference imo
I also found a massive bug around placements which was scary! My nephew found it while using the touch screen on the laptop! It was a small fix but took me a while to find it.
Still plan on getting demo out for the end of the month but depending if I have enough time to release it with multiplayer. I guess I could add it in later in worst case scenario. Would it be better to release it with it or without it ?

Hello BrVRers! Today we have a ton of changes and content additions!
Added level Negative 10, a wasteland field
Level Negative 10 is a flat, grassy, nighttime level. But don't let its simplicity fool you, in the fog is a giant building full of wrecked furniture, blood stains, and bullet holes. What could have happened there? Outside of the building are a series of playgrounds, it's quite eerie.
Added a new entity, bursters
These crouched crab-like figures hide in levels 3 and 6. When you get near them, they will "burst" on you, and then will be able to take damage from shooting. They also can bite you if you get very close. They are quite slow though, and can be outran simply by walking away.
Added some variance to gun materials
Some, like the Deagle and 870, are a bit more grunge now. The M4 Shotgun's material is more metallic as well.
-Added the M1 Garand to guns n optics n ammo
Isn't "Garand" such a good word? Either way, you can now buy it at your favorite frontrooms gun store. It's pretty pricy though.
Added an "info" tab to the notebook
This tab can tell you all about the companies of the backrooms. It's currently a WIP and doesn't have everybody. Suggested by our playtester Purple guy.
Added some props to buztitraining
Tables, chairs, and a skull (bad to the bone). Also, speaking of skulls, they have better LODs.
Added Lucky Milk, a replacement for Condensed Almond Water
A nice addition straight out of the backrooms wikidot. It's soy milk with three different flavors, Banana, Strawberry, and Chocolate. It can be found in Holden's Anxiety Relief on level 94's indoor playground. It costs 80 Backrooms Bucks.
Redid Level 23's lighting
This one just looks gorgeous. The glow room is also upgraded with many more plants, mushrooms, and other significant flora. There are now tons of multicolor lights inside there too.
Did an overhaul of the level 18 "Memories" map
This map has gone relatively unchanged for 3 days shy of a year now, since 1.7. It now has a graphical overhaul, with ambient occlusion, bloom, and flickering lights on high settings.
Fixed no avatar mode's strange arms
This is a big one, not sure why it was happening exactly but now it's gone! Goodbye, black wrists, you won't be missed.
Fixed a carpet issue in level 0
There was previously a line, where there isn't now. The only reason I put it on here is because it's one of the first things you'd see in level 0.
Fixed an issue with a faceling noise
Sometimes it would play multiple times in a row, after using a grenade. Now this isn't the case.
Compressed many textures
Things should run a bit better, at the loss of slight visual fidelity.
The double barrel shotgun now costs $1200
It's now less expensive, due to mag size and the difficulty reloading.
Changed the revolver rod and 1911 slide
As always, the 1911 slide is an ongoing effort. However, the revolver should be much easier to reload now, not requiring you to touch the end of your index finger to the ejector rod. It instead checks the entire hand's collision.
That's it for this update, however there are some other minor changes. Also, we are going on vacation for a week. We have been working on the game nearly every day for the last year, and we've found we're burnt out a bit. We'll still be on our discord though, we love that. We are going to New Hampshire. Have a nice time brvring (or whatever you call this)!

Dirty Depot — Battle Drones: Red Rock Resistance Location Overview
Rumour has it that the famous drone salesman, Solomon burgundy, has a depot between the Firing Range and the Celerity Speedway. The old man doesn’t seem to have much of a knack for organisation, the whole place feels like a maze of containers!
The Dirty Depot contains multiple branching paths and several dead ends, making it hard to navigate. In many cases, you will find yourself trapped by enemies closing in, where you’ll be forced to rely on your combat abilities! The labyrinth may appear simple at first, however, you will quickly learn that there is more than meets the eye…
At the centre of the depot you’ll find Solomon’s Office. In this shop you can purchase health and ammo refills, as well as the iconic double barrel shotgun! You’ll only be able to find the shotgun at this specific location so be sure to pay a visit if you need to knock back your enemies with two barrels of buckshot!
The dirty depot is constantly changing. There are several cranes and a telehandler that will relocate containers, sometimes blocking off routes through the maze. If you encounter a blocked route you must either wait for the crane to pick up the container and clear the route, or turn back and take a different route. This can create some very intense combat encounters!
You never know what Solomon might be hiding amongst the odds and ends of the Dirty Depot. Explore the area on release and you may just find some clues… Join our Discord channel and share your thoughts!

Rediscover Path of Exile's Passive Skill Tree in the Krangled Passives Group SSF Event! Now available on both PC and Console, you can start exploring the krangled skill tree to reveal which strange character builds might be possible.
Krangled Passives Group SSF Event
League Completion Criteria: Kill both Searing Exarch and Eater of Worlds
Based on: Standard (Sanctum/Ruthless/Hardcore all disabled)
Accounts Allowed in League: 6
End date: End date: 2pm March 28th PDT
Platforms: PC and Console
The Passive Skill Tree and all Ascendancy Trees are jumbled. Minor passive skills, notables, keystones, minor ascendancy skills and major ascendancy skills have been internally scrambled within those categories (so a notable passive is still a notable passive, just a random one). Mastery locations are Krangled, but their options are not. All players have the same trees.
You can only see properties of passive or Ascendancy skills that are adjacent to ones you have allocated.
This event prompts some interesting strategies. Can your party work out what builds or Ascendancy choices are the best in this new crazy meta? Will you share that information with other players? Will you send some members ahead and then restart characters once there's a good build plan?
On Console realms, which don't yet support Group SSF, this event will be run as a regular solo SSF event.
To join the event, click the banner for Krangled Passives Group SSF Event in the bottom right of the Character Select screen once you've logged into the game. This will take you to the Private League creation page of the Path of Exile website, where you can create your own Krangled Passives Group SSF Private League for free! Once you've created your Krangled Passives Group SSF Private League, don't forget to invite some friends!
Prizes
The prizes for this event are exclusive trophy statues that can be displayed in your hideouts.
Legend's Hideout Statue for Group Rank #1
Champion's Hideout Statue for Group Rank #2
Victor's Hideout Statue for Group Rank #3
Challenger's Hideout Statue for Group Ranks #4-10
The prizes will be awarded based on the time taken to kill both Searing Exarch and Eater of Worlds. The time is counted from when you make the league, not from when the event starts. Your group can have as many shots as you want while the event is live, and don't have to be playing at exactly the same time as the people you're competing against. At the end of the event, whichever group has the best time is the winner. The prizes will be distributed after all the events have ended (in April).
This event is available on PC and Console. You can find the ladders for each platform's event below:
