Default build has been changed to run on Ancurio's MKXP engine, as is with Impostor Factory. This allows for better full screen handling (proper screen ratio), resizable window (alt-enter), a smoother experience, and rare crash bug avoidance. d-(' ' d-)

We're trying it on English first, then gradually rolling them out to other languages' builds.

*If there's an issue switching to proper language, you can press F7 at title screen to change language manually.

P.S. The only drawback may be a potential issue with triggering the achievement in some cases. If that happens, one work-around for the time being is to use the -achievement legacy build to run the ending to get it. To do so, just right click To the Moon from Steam library -> Property -> BETAs -> choose -achievement build from dropdown list, close & let download. d-(' ' d-)

Our protagonist. Friendly, warm, energetic, sometimes impetuous.

Boti is a software bot who works in the Chipset as a trainee data courier. While most data couriers – like Byteland’s bots in general – are programmed simply to perform their functions in predictable ways, our hero has lots of special skills and abilities, making Boti unusually versatile. Boti can traverse many different terrains and overcome unexpected obstacles while traveling through Byteland. You might say that Boti is rather overpowered for the calling of a courier!

  • Player names are now hidden by default in the Combat Log BETA.



  • Fixed an issue where Equipment/Consumable items could be used without the effect being applied to your Hunter.
  • Fixed an issue that that caused the Bounty Token icons to not fade correctly based on the player’s viewing angle/crosshair proximity.
  • Improvement made to the text and localization of the new Tutorial.
  • Fixed a bug that allowed Trip Mines to be stacked on top of each other when placed in the world.
  • Fixed a bug that caused Saddlebags to not spawn in the world as intended.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the Saddlebags to make an unintended noise.
  • Fixed an issue where Challenges from the Questlines, such as those requiring kills in a specific compound, could be completed by a teammate that was killing AI from outside the target compound.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the Tutorial instructor to T-pose after the melee instruction.
  • Fixed a bug where sometimes, after playing the Wildcard Contract for a couple of rounds, it was tricky to select Standard Contracts.
  • Fixed a bug that occurred while playing solo where the system could automatically select Standard without any user input.
  • Fixed an issue that caused a player to be unable to progress in "Deal damage to enemy Hunters using any custom ammo" Challenge with Crossbow Explosive Bolts.
  • Fixed a UI issue that caused the Contract changes of the lobby host to input no change for the lobby.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the Tutorial to work improperly if the Hunter killed the Butcher too quickly.
  • Fixed an issue where a UI pop-up for the Tutorial still said “Training.”
  • Fixed an issue that caused only 3 out of 4 Challenges to be active.
  • Fixed an issue in the Tutorial that caused a player to become blocked from progressing when killing the 3 Target Dummy Hunters before entering the final room 11 building.
  • Fixed an issue with incorrect stats for custom ammo types of some weapons.
  • Fixed an issue that caused a Hunter to be unable to interact with window shutters after shooting the window with special ammo (mainly Poison Ammo).
  • Fixed an issue that allowed the Serpent Trait to collect Clues while the Hunter was not using Dark Sight (at the start of the round).
  • Fixed an issue that showed the unlock requirement in English when clicking on the Advanced Tutorial button in other languages.
  • Fixed an issue that showed misleading information about Bleeding in the Tutorial.
  • Fixed an issue that allowed a Hunter to be able to have 2 Traits after the Tutorial (due to a Meathead drop).
  • Fixed an issue that did not allow the dialogue subtitles to be turned off in the Options.
  • Fixed an issue that caused burned Health Chunks to refill incorrectly after extracting from the Tutorial.




  • In instances where you have split the key bindings for Sprint/ADS & Vault/Jump, the changes will not be reflected in the Tutorial.

  • Resolved a crash which could occur when modifying Frame or Graphic kit colors in the Paint Shop.
  • Adjusted 3D positional audio on MX 450F to prevent engine sounds jumping significantly to one side or another.

Detailed changelog
  • Resolved a crash in Paint Shop when modifying some specific Frames and Graphic Kits which were updated in the previous patch. The crash only impacted players who had customized vehicles using those frames and kits using stock colors prior to patch 1.19.
  • Adjusted spatialization of MX 450F engine audio to return more output to "center channel" and reduce the side-to-side jumping most noticeable on some surround sound headphones.

Hey everyone!
As I'm packing for a long trip to get to PAX East, I couldn't leave the rest of you without any new stuff.
So I uploaded a new version of the demo that has been available for quite a while. This new version just adds the general polish I've been working on lately for the conclusion of development, so no new features of course.
But go ahead and replay it, maybe you'll find hidden things ;)
Also, let me know of any bugs, as my testing has not been extensive ahah.

Hello everyone,

Now that we have put Chapter 4 in your hands, we are entering a new development phase dedicated solely to improving the existing game.

While we are very proud of our teams and their efforts in developing and testing the game, we are aware that it is not perfect, and nothing beats player feedback when it comes to identifying bugs and improvements for gameplay features. We will continue actively monitoring, gathering, and analysing the feedback you send us. Even if we cannot respond to every individual, please know we are very grateful to everyone who has taken the time to send us their valuable feedback.

We want to assure everyone that we will focus on fixing outstanding issues over the coming months, improving core gameplay, and refining key features. To that end, we are working to establish a patch release roadmap to share with you. While our production team is still finalising the roadmap, it begins this week with Patch 1, which is currently undergoing the final stages of testing and will address the following major issues, amongst others:
  • It will resolve a UI softlock when accepting rewards from the Restock: Havar project in Champion of Stormfall mode.
  • It will fix an issue in the conversion system which would leave some characters stuck at the end of Chapter III with no objective.
  • It will fix an issue where Ahriman would drop no loot (or too much), depending on the game mode.
  • And more, to be detailed when the patch releases.
Some issues take more time and nuance to fix than others, or, in the case of game features, we must take some time to carefully gauge how impactful changes would be for the broader player base. If you do not see an issue in this list or the lists of future patches, rest assured that we have seen your feedback and will address it to the best of our ability.

And finally, the community team would like to note that we will be shelving our traditional "monthly development update" communication in favour of smaller and more frequent updates akin to this one as part of this new patch deployment cycle.
