One of the core pillars of UNITED - 1944 is teamwork. We want you to feel connected to your teammates, your squad. This week, we will explain in a bit more detail the tools at your disposal for team work.
To accomplish this, we’ve added into the game several mechanics that affect how you can play the game and some tools to make the teamplay easier. Let’s start talking about the mechanics.
Teammate revive mechanic
The first and most obvious was the teammate revive mechanic. It is quite simple, you as a player fall into a downed state before dying, so any of your allies can come and get you up to keep fighting. But for that we needed to have a reason to want to be revived instead of just respawning.
We made some design decisions to the death process to add more value to your life, for starters you have an inventory that you will lose, second is the time you will spend respawning is not instantaneous, and third you will be out for that specific fight if you die, you will need to rearm and go back to the fight. So for example in the middle of an assault you or your squad member die you will be out of the assault or you will lack strength to overcome your enemy defenses. But if you get revived or if you revive your friends, you can go back to the fight or keep your assault with enough strength to be effective.
Revive your teammates, keep them in the fight to overcome your enemies!
Safe boxes
One of the most important jobs in the game is to acquire secret documents to be able to build new outposts. To get those documents you need to find and open safeboxes that need a lot of effort to open. They are dangerous as the enemy knows when you are opening one of them and they are slow to open. So bring some members of your team for security and to open them faster, as the more people the faster they are opened!
Constructions
Building defenses is also important. First, you will need commitment to unlock the building skills. Then, you will need to spend time defending an outpost or your HQ with layers of defenses. Some of your team mates may not choose the building skills as well, but they can still help you with the constructions: everyone can gather materials and bring them to the barricades or walls to help finish constructions. So, at any point, if you need more hands, tell your squad to focus on finishing the buildings you placed.
Share with your team
In UNITED 1944 you have 40 skills available on day one, with more to come. You can’t be a jack of all trades, so it is important to divide roles and skills with your teammates to make sure you use all the tools the game has for you. Maybe you are in charge of explosives, so you can craft grenades and Dynamites while your teammate is focusing on medicine, that way you provide firepower and your friend with extra health for the battles that will come. And there are still more things that you can do in the game, so collaboration is really important to arm yourself with all the tools available!
More mechanics will come in the future to further promote teamplay as war is not only shooting each other. But in the meantime let’s talk about the tools you have in the game to play with your friends easier.
Squad system
Call your friends to play together in a squad, you will be able to look for a match all together with ease. Once in a game keep that squad and play in the same team to coordinate better. And if you join alone, do not worry, you will be added to a squad with other people to coordinate the war effort better, and yes, you can swap squads if needed!
Respawn with your squad lead
Being in a squad also allows you to spawn outside an outpost or an HQ. If you are a member of a squad, all your squadmates will be able to spawn where the squad lead is. This is a powerful tool to reinforce the battle and join the frey sooner!
Communication is key
And lastly, comms, the game has an in game voice chat with different channels:
Proximity chat: This voice chat will let you speak to anyone in your team if they are close to you. Squad chat: This voice chat will let you speak with your squad members even if they are far away, coordination is important!
Squad leads chat: This voice chat is exclusive for squad leads only, that way the squads can coordinate between themselves and prepare coordinated attacks or scavenging efforts!
That way you can communicate with not only your squad but also your team, and the leading people can organize the battlefield to better suit the needs of the battle!
But we know that not everyone wants or has a microphone to play with. So we also have a text chat for those who prefer not to talk.

Hello friends, we are currently working on a major update that will bring something new to the game.
We're adding endless upgrade to all magic cards, traps, creatures, etc. Now they can be upgraded by adding new attributes, and the color of the card will greatly affect the possible effects of the card. Also will be added a lot of new abilities for leveling up the cards. Upgrade will also affect the enemies with their magic, which will make the game even more interesting.
Also, we are working on the interface to make it even more convenient and understandable.
