Greetings Everyone. Welcome to the first of a short series of previews for the upcoming 0.8 content update. In this preview I will cover the new Divine Items that can be found in the 0.8 Factions Update.
Divine Items:
Divine Items are a new Rarity of Item that can be found rarely by defeating most Bosses in the game. Divine Items have the same number of Attributes as Mythical Items but have unique Item Bonuses instead of the usual Bonus Attributes.
Drop Locations:
In 0.8 most Bosses in the game will have at least 1 Divine Item that can drop from them with some of the more challenging Bosses offering multiple Divine Items. By default Divine Items drop very rarely but can be found more frequently as you gain more Luck and Fortune.
Divine Attributes:
In addition to their unique Item Bonuses, Divine Items always roll with Max Attribute Ranks and will automatically update to the new Max Rank as you add Paragon Levels to the Item. Divine Items also do not cost Upgrade Cores when Rerolling, Randomising or Transmuting Attributes, meaning when you obtain a Divine Item you can cheaply craft your desired Attributes onto the Item.
As I continue to develop Lootun and work through the Roadmap I plan to add more Divine Items into the game with each major update.
Enchant Stacking:
Currently in Lootun you only gain the effect of each Enchant once regardless of how many copies of the Enchant you have equipped. In 0.8 many Enchants will be stackable allowing you to improve the effect of the Enchant by equipping multiple copies. Stackable effects are displayed as a bracketed number in green.
This stacking system also applies to Divine Item Bonuses.
Wrap Up:
That’s all for this preview, thank you for reading this far. I am hoping to have a preview of the upcoming Factions system out next week.
As always feel free to leave any suggestions or comments here, or on the Discord. Discord: https://discord.gg/KmpBY9g7j6
Welcome to the underground world of Neo Tokyo: Aftermarket. While most of the population lives comfortably with their daily drivers, the car culture of Neo Tokyo has always craved something a bit more bold.
Custom is king in this neighborhood, and many local tuner shops have designed their own Decal Packs for Dingo, Breakout, Fennec, Dominus, and Octane. With exotic materials and eye-catching artwork, these Items can transform your ride into the drift car of your dreams.
These streets are yours, now go and take them. Neo Tokyo: Aftermarket will take place from March 20 to April 3!
Aftermarket Decals
Building your perfect ride takes time, but Neo Tokyo has something for everyone… IF you know where to look. New Item Packs will hit the Aftermarket Item Shop Tab every two days, with the Fennec Tokyo Decal Pack leading the charge on March 20.
Many of these new Items are inspired by the sights and signage of Neo Tokyo itself. Dig into the Bob’s Ramen Fennec Decal, or show love to our favorite long-eared DJ with the Buffy-Sugo Dingo Decal! Octane, Fennec, and Breakout will turn heads with their new neon-lit Huntress versions of the MG-88, Nitty-Gritty, and Turbo Decals, while Dominus welcomes the dark mode Shinjuku Decal.
A few Packs also come with new Megafrost and Ultraheat Decals. These shiny wraps give a color-shifting, metallic feel that morphs depending on which angle you see it. You’ll also be able to pair these flashy Decals with new Multichrome, Radiant, and Infinite Items!
Got your eye on something specific? Many of these Items will be rotating through the Featured Shop for individual purchase.
Not everything needs to be a Pack, and these Items stand alone. The Neo-Viral Jäger 619 Decal mixes dark and bright designs, while the Danpa Masamune Decal features an animated “Dance Party” ticker and octogirl graphic. For the finishing touch, add a powerful pop of color with the Ultralex: Radiant or OEM: Infinite Wheels!

The sixth episode of our developer diary series is here. In this episode we discuss sex scenes, what role they play in Unscripted, and the importance of intimacy when striving for an authentic story.
A new update that addresses a ton of playtesting feedback is live for playtesters! This one is a big one, so expect some instability and some bugs.
Most notable updates include a major change to how statuses work in the game, and base defense has been changed dramatically to make it more challenging.
General Game Improvements
- Major Statuses overhaul: most stack-based statuses have been converted back to percentage-based statuses (i.e. Dazed causes 25% less damage to be dealt) - Statuses overhaul will *hopefully* help with issues like stacking 100+ dazed on enemies, making the game far too easy - But: stacking statuses can still be done and once you reach 50 stacks of status, you get an increased percentage bonus - Player HP is fully restored after Merc Killer encounters are completed successfully - Remove Blockade as a possible node, it's boring - Add "curated" sets of cards for enemy hands, instead of randomly selecting cards based on weighted random choices - Overhaul smoked cards (smoke grenade), now affects both player/enemy - Overhaul base defense: - Add turns to base defense - "Waves" of Base Attackers (each round) - Cards that previously removed Base Attackers now prevent an additional attacker from showing up in the next wave
Game Balance
- Reduce VENOM WISP damage to 30 (from 100) points per round - If WRATHFUL is active, it replaces Avenger - Increase enemy power ramp up as player progresses through the sectors - Buff basic Base Defense utility cards
Cards
- Cannon fodder (very weak base attacker) - Recon drone (very weak base attacker)
UI Improvements
- Speed up card resolve even more - Add more information to card tooltips in reward stores, unlocks screen, etc. (still in progress) - Improve card descriptions
Bug Squashing
- Fix duration of Killing Machine - Fix for Merc Killers appearing where standard enemies should be in later runs - Fix Infinite Blood Flux bug where it deals you only enemy cards - Remove base defenders/attackers from visual list if they are removed by a card resolving - Revert dev changes to Base Defense deck (Allosaurus) - Refactor tooltips to (hopefully) fix very rare performance issues on older?/underpowered? machines (still unable to reproduce this bug myself) - Performance improvements to draggable cards to avoid any other rare bugs (one other card dragging bug I can't reproduce) - Fix Frag Grenade card description - Fix bug where card overlay (darkened) was enabled for unlocked cards - Fix broken unlock count on start screen
For a long time after the release of the last big free update, we could not find the cause of the crashes that occurred to some players during the animation of changing banners in a match.
But thanks to the video of one of our players, who shoots a rather interesting walkthrough of vanilla Football, Tactics & Glory, we found and fixed the cause of these crashes.
Now the game should not crash during matches. And if you turned off banner animations because of these crashes, now you can turn them on.
